Immediately after Gabe left Risa's house, he drove straight to Romeo's mansion. His jaw was tight, his grip firm around the steering wheel with furry etched on his face.
When he arrived, he stepped out of the car and walked into the mansion without being stopped, as though Romeo had already been expecting him.
The house was eerily quiet.
Gabe moved through the living room, his shoes echoing faintly against the tiles but Romeo was nowhere in sight. His gaze darkened.
He took the stairs two at a time which leads to Romeo bedroom but the moment he pushed his bedroom door opened and stepped inside, his gaze scanning the room but, Romeo wasn't there.
The faint scent of lavender drifted filled the room coming from the right hand side of the bedroom and without wasting much time, Gabe strode there and opened the door and behold,Romeo was there.
