Without letting Zeo say a word, the officers took him and led him out of the class while the students stared in shock . For a high school student to kill his parents, that was something everyone couldn't wrap their hands around but zeo was silent so they thought it was true. Even the bullies from yesterday found it absurd to accuse him of such, but he didn't defend himself, and that would make him guilty. As they walked out of the school, students from different classes watched it happen and word quickly spread that he murdered his parents. Most didn't believe but some used it as an opportunity to criticize him.
At the station, zeo was immediately transfered to the prison for unique ability beings were he made his first friend. Inside this prison unlike other regular ones,are guards and facilities that inmates can't break through and escape. It was specially designed for capturing supernatural beings
Zeo sat on his bed with his face down staring at the floor with an emotionless gaze. He was given the bottom bunk for newcomers in a room where 80% of them were old timers. Although they weren't new to the environment, they didn't seem harsh and welcomed Zeo to join them.
"Oh there's a new kid..."
A guy who just came out of the bathroom caught sight of Zeo
"I heard he was accused of killing his parents"
"Wow... I wish I could do that"
"Shut up will you... Not all of us are pyshcopaths like you"
"Hey kid. What's your name?"
"Zeo...."
They tried to talk to him but he would give little to no answers and they got tired. The person at the top bunk above Zeo pokes his head into zeo's section
"Hey there..."
"Don't you guys give up..."
"That wouldn't be a smart choice in here. People talk while they have the chance because it might be too late when they realized they didn't make any friends"
He continued talking with zeo despite his misactions and with time,they began talking like friends while the others watched from the sidelines.
"There he goes again... Stealing all the friends"
"Let him be. You know his turn is in 5 days"
"Oh right... Zeo is going to be heartbroken for sure"
Two days past and Zeo and Kim became good friends with each other. Zeo's mood lightened up and he talks freely with the others now without fear. He found out from a roommate that Kim has a fractured leg so he won't join for excersice or labour like the rest of them. Nevertheless,zeo and Kim continued to be friends till the fourth day, while they cracked jokes with each other,an officer came in and took Kim. As the roommates saw this, the happy mood in the air died down but zeo was sleeping so he didn't know about it. His roommates contemplated whether to tell him now or wait for him to wake up the next day
When Zeo woke up the next day, he was surprised to not see Kim on his bed like usual but decided not to ask about it just yet. But when he didn't come back for a while and the room had a depressing aura he had to ask
"Where's Kim?"
"..."
"Huh..."
They finally decided to tell him
They told him the truth about the prison they were in. It was one that people don't just enter and leave as they like, anyone brought here is basically sentenced to death and unless bought by an influencer,if one stays for Three years,he or she would be killed. And Kim has completed his stay without getting bought so he's to be killed today. Zeo realized the reason for everyone's moodiness and tried to cheer them up
"C-come on guy,we—"
"You and Kim were the only one's here who haven't been bought"
"What..."
"We begged our influencer to let us stay until Kim's trial was over... We're also leaving today"
Zeo ran out of the room to where Kim is supposed to be executed and saw Kim kneeling in front of a band of executioners with a smile on his face. after seeing Zeo, his grin widened and he winked at him but zeo wanted to give him a piece of his mind. Frustrated at his weakness, he shouted to Kim
"You're not gonna die... I promise"
