Thea Lynch came out of the study and bumped into the butler, who was coming up to deliver something.
"Good morning, ma'am."
Thea glanced at the time; apparently, it wasn't that early anymore.
Her gaze shifted downward, and she glanced at the items in the butler's hands. The latter nodded slightly and explained, "These are documents sent by Mr. Preston's assistant."
"Give them to me; I'll pass them to him."
"Alright, thank you, ma'am."
"No problem."
"Is there anything special you'd like for lunch, ma'am? I can have the kitchen start preparing now."
"Something light, please. But I probably won't eat lunch. Make my portion for dinner instead."
"Okay."
Back in the master bedroom, Thea didn't see Ian, so she assumed he wasn't there. But then she remembered the documents the butler had just delivered, proving Ian hadn't gone out.
After circling the room, she finally found him on the balcony.
