What happens when you push someone's buttons?
They react violently.
They beat, yell... even kill other people... but forget that. You can push their buttons through many ways. For many purposes. Why push buttons then?
Because it's fun.
I snorted, "Hey, use a bit more force! I feel nothing. Do you need more food?" Right now, Leonard was massaging my feet... which I haven't forced him to. Or, maybe I did.
"We were at their morning prayer. Mas... er, Valeria, I am kind of bored. I am an atheist by the way. Religion is not for me. It confuses me," said Nathan. He was massaging my hands. Although, he was doing it willingly.
Leonard sneered, "You were the one who submitted to her first, without any fight. It would have been a shock if you weren't an atheist. You are practically worshipping a creature which is considered evil in their mythology."
"You aren't a catholic?" I asked him.
"No, I am a Muslim," replied Leonard. I guess, our worlds have the same set of religions after all. Although, Christians hate us more.
"Wow, good for you. Although, I didn't peg you for a believer," commented Nathan. He got a punch on his shoulder by Leonard, who was obviously not happy to hear his comment.
I sighed, "You two should stop fighting. Today Hollard asked me whether we want to stay here or not. He was practically begging us to stay. Yet, he was sure that we wouldn't leave the church."
"It's weird," said Leonard. He had a thoughtful look on his face.
Nathan shrugged, "Maybe they want more people for their church's agenda."
Agenda?
Hollard was pretty sure that we wouldn't leave this place, and he was confident. Very confident, which is weird... unless, he and his fellow priests weren't planning something. Fine, tonight I will sneak around some more. There was obviously something that they wanted from us.
"We should ask for an extra room. My body hurts from sleeping on the floor," groaned Nathan.
I raised my eyebrows at his words. I asked, "You want an extra room?" Nathan flinched slightly, "I am not getting angry, Nathan. If you two want, I can talk about giving rooms for yourself."
Nathan nodded slowly. He asked, "Can I?"
"Wait, can I too?" Leonard's eyes were practically shinning.
Oh, look at these two! They are practically salivating for having their own rooms.
I nodded, "You can. Both of you can have your own rooms. But for that, I will have to accept their condition. And we all know what their condition is, right?"
They want us to stay.
Now, humans aren't fundamentally good, and so are vampires. It's obvious that those priests want something from us. Also, how many times will I say to myself and you all?
"They are weird. It's just I think they are hiding something," said Nathan.
Okay, if he is doubting them... I am going to be honest. They aren't very subtle.
Pressing my legs with more force, Nathan continued, "They were looking at us with those judgy eyes. I think they want something from us."
"Maybe we are thinking too much," suggested Leonard.
Suddenly, someone knocked our door.
"Get up, you two. Go and sit on the bed," I whispered. It was Father Killian.
The two of them got up and sat on the bed.
Sousing up the water bottle, I said, "Come in."
The door opened up and Father Killian came inside. He had a serious look on his face. He said, "We are going out for some supplies. Will you do a task for us? I am assigning tasks. Who among you has... an 'ability?'"
"None of us. Can you give us a gun or something? Oh, I forgot one thing. Father Hollard asked me if we are staying or not," I took a deep breath, "We are staying. Is that okay with you all?"
Father Killian nodded his head. He had a small smile on his face.
"Great, can I ask you a favour?" Leonard butted in.
"Leonard, I am talking, aren't I?" I levelled Leonard with a discreet look which stiffened him. If Father Killian was smart enough, he would catch on.
I turned towards Father Killian and said, "My brothers want their own rooms. Can you do something about it? There are many empty rooms around us, right?"
"Yes, there are. If they want rooms for themselves, they can have. Now, can you all go to the nearest mall and bring some clothes. Our people need them," said Father Killian.
'Our people?' It's a good thing he finally noticed that those humans need new clothes.

"Humans think that they are entitled to everything. God hasn't given you different stuffs for free, has he? Everyone has the right!" sneered Leonard. He was putting female underwear into a bag.
"Why is he angry?" asked Nathan.
I adjusted my sunglasses and shook my head. The moment we reached women's section, Leonard started acting out. He was like an old man with no teeth left, and no wife. His anger was his only companion.
I shrugged, "I don't know. Why is he even upset?" Then, I saw his nostalgic look when he was holding a lacy bra.
"He has a sad look on his face now," Nathan whispered to me.
"I can see that. Hey! If you want to, you can wear it! No one is going to complain. I love cross-dressing man!" I yelled. Leonard panicked and dropped the bra on the floor. His face was practically on fire.
All of a sudden, the lights went out, making everything dark... for humans. But not for me! I am a vampire!
"Master, are you alright? Should I call you that? We are outside now, aren't we?" asked Nathan.
"Yeah, but call me by my name when we get back to the church. Now, come closer. You too, Leonard," I ordered.
Right now, I could hear a lot of footsteps coming towards us. Not a single one of them belonged to a human.
