c51: Majin Buu Is Resurrected
At this time, deep beneath Babidi's spaceship, a huge dark purple cocoon was trembling violently.
Due to the earlier fierce battles Vegeta versus Dabra and Son Gohan's unleashed power an immense amount of energy had been released. That energy, gathered by Babidi's magic system, had already filled Majin Buu's sealed shell to its limit.
"Hahaha! Excellent, excellent! My Majin Buu… come out quickly! Though it's a pity that Dabra was destroyed!"
Babidi shouted excitedly, his twisted grin reflecting in the faint glow of the pulsating egg.
"Despair!"
From above, Son Goku, Son Gohan, and Vegeta descended swiftly through the smoke and debris. The three landed before Babidi, who turned in terror, sweat dripping down his small, wrinkled face.
"Babidi! We've found you," Vegeta sneered coldly, folding his arms. "Your so-called warriors were nothing but trash. Is this all you have to stop us?"
"Damn it… they came faster than I expected!" Babidi muttered, backing away. With Dabra gone, he had no protection left only the nearly-hatched Majin Buu.
The Saiyans' eyes all turned toward the giant cocoon.
"So this is Majin Buu, huh? Doesn't look like he's ready to hatch yet," Goku said, stepping closer curiously. He examined the strange surface, pressing a hand against it.
"Don't touch my Majin Buu, you fool!" Babidi screamed despite his fear.
"Dad, let's just destroy that shell and end this," Gohan urged, tension in his voice. "That thing gives me a bad feeling."
"Hmph, fine. Once this nuisance is gone, we'll finish our fight," Vegeta replied, raising his right hand. A blazing energy sphere formed instantly.
"Disappear!"
The Final Flash–like blast erupted from Vegeta's palm, slamming into the cocoon.
"BOOM!"
A thunderous explosion shook the chamber, dust and smoke covering everything.
"Hmph! So much for Majin Buu. Let's go," Vegeta said coldly. "That Supreme Kai exaggerated too much nothing but empty words."
Just as he turned away, an eerie laugh echoed through the dust.
"Hehehe… you fools! You've played right into my hands! The energy is complete the seal is breaking! The great Babidi will now rule the entire universe!"
Babidi's crazed laughter filled the room as the cocoon began to crack, pulsating violently.
From above, Supreme Kai (Shin) and his attendant Kibito descended, their faces pale with dread as they sensed the sinister ki.
"Fools! You've doomed us all," Supreme Kai said shakily, eyes wide with horror. "Majin Buu's seal is opening… the universe itself is in danger!"
Crimson light flashed through the cracks as steam hissed out, the ground trembling under their feet. Kibito's body tensed in fear while Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta all turned toward the cocoon.
Then, with a piercing roar
"PSSSHHH!"
The shell shattered, releasing an overwhelming, chaotic energy that filled the chamber.
Majin Buu… had finally returned to life.
Watching Babidi still laughing maniacally, Vegeta frowned in disgust. With a wave of his left hand, he released a concentrated Ki blast that vaporized the sorcerer instantly.
"Tch, too noisy. Now that Majin Buu's finally out, let's see how strong this monster really is."
"Dad, do you feel that? That terrifying energy!"
Son Gohan's voice was tense as he stared at the cracked shell of the cocoon.
"Yeah… it's unbelievable," Son Goku replied, his cheerful tone gone, replaced by deep seriousness. "That ki… it's massive and chaotic. He really deserves the title of Majin Buu."
Moments later, a thick red mist poured from the cocoon. Within it, a rotund pink creature slowly formed, his round body steaming with energy.
"The demon… Majin Buu! He's actually appeared! It's over… everything's over!"
The Supreme Kai (Shin) trembled violently, his voice breaking as he stared in despair.
"Oh? Huh? So many people here… but where's that little guy Babidi?"
Fat Buu rubbed his stomach, tilting his head in confusion.
"I already took care of that pest," Vegeta said coldly, stepping forward. "Come on, Majin Buu. Show me your strength!"
He exploded forward in an instant.
"BOOM!"
His punch smashed into Buu's round face, followed by a vicious spinning kick that sent the creature crashing backward. Vegeta pressed the attack relentlessly, fists and feet flashing in golden light. Within seconds, Fat Buu's body was flattened into a deformed shape.
"Tch… so this is Majin Buu? Pathetic! Looks like it's over in one blow."
But Goku didn't relax. His sharp eyes stayed on the creature. "No… it's not that simple. His energy hasn't dropped at all."
Indeed, even as Vegeta sneered, the squashed Buu's body began to ripple. The dents popped back out like rubber, and his cheerful face returned as if nothing had happened.
"Be careful, Vegeta! Buu's power hasn't weakened!" Goku shouted.
"BOOM!"
Before Vegeta could react, Buu's punch landed squarely in his stomach, launching him into the wall of the underground chamber. The impact cracked the metal and sent shockwaves through the ship.
Buu's expression darkened. Steam hissed violently from the holes on his head a sign of his growing rage. His aura began to surge, distorting the air around him.
"This is bad," Shin muttered, clenching his fists. "Buu's anger is increasing his power! Son Goku, please! You must stop him before it's too late!"
"Kakarot, stay out of this!" Vegeta barked, forcing himself up. "Don't you dare interfere with my fight! The Prince of Saiyans doesn't need help!"
Electric sparks flickered around his body as his golden aura flared. Vegeta's hair stood up sharply — Super Saiyan 2.
"AAAHHH!"
He roared, surging forward and driving his fist into Buu's jaw, sending shockwaves through the air.
"BANG! BANG!"
Buu laughed as he blocked and countered, his arms stretching unnaturally to strike from impossible angles. The two clashed furiously, their blows echoing like thunder.
The ship around them began to collapse under the force of their battle until
"BOOOOM!"
The entire spaceship exploded, debris scattering into the wasteland outside. The two fighters burst into the open sky, continuing their violent exchange midair.
"BANG! BANG! BANG!"
But as the battle went on, Buu's strength only increased. His playful expression twisted into excitement as he pummeled Vegeta mercilessly.
Vegeta was slammed backward, blood at the corner of his mouth, his armor cracked. Yet he only smirked grimly.
"Damn it! This guy's power just keeps rising… but don't you underestimate me!" he growled, lightning flaring around him. "I am the Saiyan Prince —Vegeta!"
He grabbed one of Buu's head tendrils, yanking him down, and unleashed a violent flurry of punches that shook the sky itself.
