Cecil's first gym session was the kind that was more than capable of giving trauma worthy of making someone a main character.
As it fucking turns out, there was a good reason why Aron worked out Alone.
There were more people there, but Cecil couldn't remember anything past minute 3.
Aron made him familiar with every machine, every exercise, starting from legs.
No one does that.
That's not even the worst part.
"Why do you look like a corpse? That's just floor 1."
"There's more?!"
Cecil had asked while trying his best to not fall asleep.
"Yeah, this is the 1st floor. I don't even touch this floor normally, non binders come. Hell, Alex removed a window on the 5th floor so that he can just jump straight to the weights."
What the hell?
Rank 1
Alexander Vestoronov
250 cm mountain of muscle.
He's a bit of an inconvinience in theory classes, because the top 10 Binders sit according to ranks.
Well, not really. They just sat in random orders, but the front row was reserved only for the top 10.
Right. 11.
9th rank was shared by 2 people.
Cecil climbed 26 floors by stairs.
It must be known that the receptionist almost brought out an alcohol detector when she saw Cecil.
He touched the ceiling more times than he had touched himself, which is concerning in more ways than one.
The 26th floor was not dark, Cecil hadn't turned the lights off when he had left.
He entered his room, and collapsed on the bed.
9:22
He had 40 minutes until his Alchemy Extra classes.
He laid on the bed for a while, and then went in to get a shower.
9:44
Cecil had almost fainted in the shower, but the water was good, so he didn't? It's wierd. He almost fell asleep while showering.
*Knock*
He opened his room's door, and found a box.
It had the Academy Logo on it, and sealed in a gazillion layers of tape.
He retrieved the Chunk of Rose Gold.
"Is it what I think it is?"
The chunk of Rose Gold morphed into a claw, attached to Cecil's hand like a prosthetic.
He cut the layers of tape open with the nails, smoothly, like cutting a Birthday cake.
Inside was a half shirt, and a pair of trousers.
His uniform had arrived.
He hurried tried it on.
Why?
[
Trousers, Lv250
Active arrays- Spatial Pocket(3, Lv100 each)
]
These things are huge, He could store his entire room in one!
And he needed the supplies to enter his personal breach.
His right shoulder had circling green vines, serpentine stems travelling down the sleeve, ending in four cyan lotuses.
The centerspace was occupied by a cyan lotus, four green wing like leaves surrounding it.
His trousers had three pockets, one on each side and one behind, four cyan lotuses resting upside down above each of his ankles.
Each pocket had a spatial pocket array, and since all of them were Lv100, he had 300 cubic meters of space, or about a small house.
Well, there are instructions to secure and activate the arrays.
I mean, it would be pretty hilarious if you didn't secure your arrays and someone hijacked it.
Wait, can you actually do that? Animating armors makes more sense now.
"Okay, so the booklet is... Um."
The booklet was misprinted. Every other page was empty.
"I guess I can activate one pocket..."
Cecil was a need, ofcourse he knew how to make arrays. So naturally he could use one too.
He stuffed his Breach supplies into his back pocket and checked the time.
9:52
Oh well. Alchemy Extra classes.
—————
Professor Eclessia was sitting in the Alchemy Lab, making a test for the junior classes when Cecil knocked on the Lab's door.
"Come in."
Her dark eyes snapped to the door, and Cecil walked in.
"Oh, and you've got your uniform."
The sleeves are pretty eye catching.
Cecil took his seat, and pulled out his notebook from his back pocket.
"No Alchemy today Velhana. I assume you've got your arrays activated?"
"No, Professor, I only activated one pocket."
Cecil replied, a bit quicker than he meant to.
"Pocket? Why not the sleeve? Or the legs? That's more important."
That's right. The embroidered sleeve was the Skill Enhancement array. It could increase proficiency in any skill as long as it was active.
"Professor, I... Forgot... And uh, I needed the pockets. Really handy."
A guy can never have too much pocket space.
"Well, Read the booklet and activate them all."
This kid is an idiot.
Professor Eclessia thought.
"My booklet misprinted. It's blank."
"Alright. I'll help."
Hopeless.
"Pull our Daggers out."
Cecil withdrew the Chunk of Rose gold. It was shaped like a simple looking shortsword. A triangle, a rectangle, and a smaller rectangle for the hilt.
"... Where's the other Daggers?"
"I left them for upgrading."
"Why?"
What is wrong with this kid?
"So that... They upgrade? And become stronger?"
Cecil's survival instinct activated.
"And Has anyone seen the gold?"
"Yeah, I used it while sparring with Melder."
Cecil was beaten by Professor Eclessia before he explained the events. Then he explained the events after getting beaten.
"Damn Child, Your one job was to stay low profile!"
Professor Eclessia calmed down finally.
"Though, Melder might make people have second thoughts before investigating you."
It took about 10 minutes to secure and activate all arrays.
The 3 pockets and the agility enhancer arrays in his trousers worked as intended, and Cecil felt kind of jittery with the sudden speed boost.
Skill Enhancer and Mana absorption arrays were also set up successfully. They would remain active as long as Cecil wore his uniform. The other 4 Arrays were also set up successfully.
Cecil spawned the chunk of Rose Gold again. This time, the shortsword didn't look like it was drawn by a toddler.
It looked like it was professionally made by a Weaponsmith, about 40 cm long, sleek, almost perfect, minus the hilt looking more thin than Cecil himself.
"Alright, Velhana. Now, You're a bit less pathetic, but still pathetic."
Professor Eclessia began, dark eyes boring a hole through Cecil.
"So, today, instead of Alchemy, you'll be doing stuff that will make you less pathetic."
Cecil had no idea what was coming, so he kept quiet, but his ashen eyes were expectant, like a pup.
"Go behind the Tier 2 Ice pond. You'll find a 'gift'. It'll help you level up."
"What exactly is there, professor?"
"Go look for yourself. And if you're in danger, scream. It'll help with the nerves."
