"She's still stable?" Raul asked cautiously, his hands clasped tightly together.
Leon's eyes didn't leave Mia. "For now. But I'll know the moment she's in danger again. I can feel it. Someone crossed the line."
Raul swallowed hard. "Do you really think it was Rachel?"
Leon's jaw tightened. "She's my first suspect, yes. She's reckless, hot-headed, and she had a reason to resent Mia after the whole dormitory incident. But I won't believe it until I see proof."
