Chapter 50 - Not that I mind

The sound of sneakers squeaking and balls thudding filled the basketball court.

Unfortunately, Jin was there.

Hana froze. Their gazes collided. For a moment, the world slowed—until his smirk snapped it back.

"Uh oh," Minji whispered.

"Perfect timing," Nari grinned, waving shamelessly.

Jin paused mid-game, tossed the ball, and strolled toward them.

"Hi, Nari," he said smoothly.

Her cheeks turned pink. "You remembered my name?"

"Of course." He turned politely to Minji. "And you must be…?"

"Minji," she supplied, shy.

Then his eyes landed on Hana. Sharp. Mocking.

"So, Hana… can I call it stalking now?"

Hana bristled. "Listen, AXIS—" She froze, horrified. "I mean… Jin."

He chuckled. "So you do stalk me."

"I was scrolling. Your page just… appeared."

"Mm. Of course." He leaned closer, voice teasing. "Not that I mind."

Before she could fire back, her phone buzzed again. Kai.

Her expression softened instantly. "I'll be right there."

Jin's smile lingered as she stood. "Let's finish this another time."

As Hana walked away, Nari and Minji exchanged wide-eyed stares.

"She just—talked back to him," Nari whispered.

"And smiled," Minji added.

"Body-snatcher Hana," Nari declared dramatically.
