Manager Park stands at the front with his tablet. Looking way too pleased with himself.
"Today's pairings are completely random. I used a randomizer app. No bias. No strategy."

"Team 1: Sera and Haejin."
The room goes dead silent.
You could hear a pin drop. Hell, you could hear someone thinking about dropping a pin.
"Team 2: Jisoo and Minjae."
"Team 3: Doyun and Taekyung."
Doyun's eye twitches. He leans toward Taekyung, voice barely above a whisper.
"Well. This should be entertaining."
He's still uncomfortable around Sera. Still remembers that look during introductions. The way her eyes traveled down his body like he was merchandise.
He wishes Staff 03 was considered for pairings. At least then hyung would look alive.
"Define entertaining," Taekyung responds dryly, not looking up from his phone.
