She seemed to hold no resentment toward Frank at all and, in fact, missed him deeply.
It was different from what Sophia had expected. Frank had hurt her mother just as much.
Her mother once had a family, yet because of him, even her last support had been taken away.
Sophia frowned slightly and called softly, "Mom."
Aurora held onto Frank's arm. "Brother, I only have you and Sophia now."
"Aurora, it's really you… I'm sorry. Your brother owes you an apology. This is my fault. If I hadn't left back then, how could you have disappeared so suddenly?"
Watching their emotional reunion, Sophia sighed inwardly.
"Frank, I'm not my mother. I can't look at you and feel only warmth. And since you once schemed against me, you should know exactly why I came today."
"Sophia, your mother is still alive. You should learn to let go."
Sophia let out a short laugh. "Let go?"
She stepped forward and pulled Aurora back to her side. "Mom, have you thought it through?"
