The leak hit the group chat at 2 a.m. A blurred clip. Taehyung and Jungkook in the practice room. Close. Too close for the angle. The video cut off before anything clear showed, but the timing was bad. The members had a full schedule in the morning.
Jungkook sat on his bed. His phone kept buzzing. He felt his chest tighten. Taehyung typed fast in the group chat.
"Do not react online. We fix this inside first."
Jimin knocked once and entered Jungkook's room. He looked tired. His hair was a mess. He held a bottle of water and placed it on the desk.
"You look tense," Jimin said. "You need to breathe."
Jungkook nodded. "People will twist this."
"They always try," Jimin said. "But you two did nothing wrong."
Yoongi called from the hallway. "Meeting in Namjoon's room."
They followed him.
Inside, the mood felt heavy. Namjoon sat on the floor with his laptop open. Jin leaned on the wall. Taehyung stood near the window with his hands in his pockets. He looked calm, but Jungkook knew that look. It was the look he used when he held everything in place for everyone else.
Namjoon spoke first. "The clip is spreading fast. We control it by staying united. No panic."
Taehyung looked at Jungkook. The room stayed quiet for a moment.
"You are not alone in this," Taehyung said. "No one here will let you carry this by yourself."
Jungkook met his eyes. The tension from the practice room returned, but stronger. Steady. Warm.
Jin stepped forward. "We address this as a group. Nothing else."
Yoongi glanced at Jimin. Something unspoken moved between them, small but clear. Jimin looked away first.
Namjoon closed the laptop. "Tomorrow will be hard. Stay close."
The meeting ended, but Taehyung stopped Jungkook at the door.
"Are you scared?" Taehyung asked.
"A little," Jungkook said. "But I trust you."
Taehyung's shoulders relaxed. "Good."
Rain tapped the window. The room felt quiet again, but safer.
Taehyung lowered his voice. "Come to the practice room in the morning. Before the others. We need to talk."
Jungkook nodded. "I will."
They left the room together. The hallway lights were soft. The tension between them stayed strong, but it held them close, not apart.
The night felt long, but the bond felt stronger. The leak had pushed them into deeper water, but they walked through it side by side.
