Aurora ran straight to hug her brother, who picked her from ground up, and twirled her around as if she was just a little girl.
To him, she would always be his little girl.
"Please tell me you're okay," he cupped her face into his hand as he dropped her back to the ground. "Did that bastard hurt you?"
She was shaking her head when from the corner of her eyes she spotted Valentina.
"Val!" She screamed her name excitedly, and pulled away from Luciano. "I had no idea you're in Italy. You look so good! I mean you always do," she laughed and went in for a hug.
Luciano looked away. If it were up to him, Valentina wouldn't even be touching his sister.
"My precious girl," Valentina dragged her behind so she could see her face properly. "Did you have fun on your travels?"
"I bloody did! I can't wait to tell you everything. You were right about following my heart. It was so fun!"
Valentina smiled beautifully at her, and then stroked her cheeks.
