Chapter 226: Please Come In, Lord Hokage
"Let's go find the Scroll of Seals first."
Li Yao activated his invisibility technique and floated downward, heading toward the Hokage building.
With his invisibility technique combined with the black hole spatialization of his physical body, which absorbed the chakra fluctuations emitted from within, Li Yao's stealth ability had reached a new level.
Unless someone activated the Byakugan, it was nearly impossible to detect him.
Even under the night sky, the Hokage building remained brightly lit. The beloved Third Hokage had yet to clock out and was still in his office handling affairs.
Surrounding the Third Hokage, inside and outside the building, were two squads of six ANBU in total. One team was stationed outside, the other inside, all hidden from plain view.
However, with Li Yao's current perception, the chakra and souls of these six ANBU shone like bright lanterns in the night—blatantly obvious.
Li Yao effortlessly landed on the roof and then phased into the building, attracting no attention.
At this moment, Li Yao's body was like a phantom, passing through the walls without altering their structure.
After his body became a black hole space, it essentially turned into space itself, capable of containing all matter—including walls.
Therefore, his body was now composed of countless subatomic particles that could easily move through solid walls.
Li Yao found the secret room in the Hokage building where various scrolls were stored.
He had already scanned the Third's office and found no large scrolls.
The Scroll of Seals should be in the secret room he had located.
No one was in the room. Li Yao floated out from the wall, hovering mid-air, and began searching the shelves for the Scroll of Seals.
There were hidden spell scripts on the floor of the secret room.
If someone unaware of their presence stepped on them, an alarm would be triggered, alerting every ninja in the building.
So rather than saying Naruto stole the Scroll of Seals from such a highly protected area, it was more accurate to say the Third deliberately gave him a chance to see it.
"How come it's not here?"
Li Yao checked every scroll in the room, regardless of size, but couldn't find the Scroll of Seals.
It definitely wasn't that he didn't recognize it.
There was only one possibility left.
The Scroll of Seals wasn't in the Hokage building.
"It must be at the Third Hokage's house," Li Yao thought to himself.
That old guy really did treat the Hokage's belongings as his own.
The Scroll of Seals was under the Hokage's jurisdiction but wasn't his private property. It should have been stored in the building, not at his personal residence.
Li Yao melded into the wall and arrived inside the wall of the Hokage's office.
"This secretary... heh heh..."
Inside the office, the Third Hokage sat in his chair, brows furrowed as he reviewed intelligence from Amegakure.
Beside him was his stunningly beautiful secretary, Chiba Megumi, dressed in a slit skirt with a low neckline that perfectly accentuated her dangerously seductive curves.
"Lord Hokage, would you like to come over to my place tonight? I've learned a new massage technique that can relieve fatigue very effectively."
Chiba Megumi gently massaged the Third Hokage's temples with her soft, delicate hands. Her words and tone were so provocative that even the purest teenage boy would nosebleed and collapse.
The Third Hokage froze, then gave a small shudder.
"Maybe next time," he sighed softly. "There's too much to handle lately. Maybe once things settle down."
"...Alright." Chiba Megumi paused for a moment, disappointment flashing deep in her eyes.
This was who-knows-how-many times the Third had said "next time."
It had been two years.
It was clear how lonely she must be, how much she craved a man's comfort.
But unfortunately, the only man in her heart and eyes was the Third Hokage.
The Third pretended not to notice the moist look in her eyes and turned his attention back to the intelligence reports, though his heart could not remain calm.
He was helpless too.
Chiba Megumi was thirty-five, in her prime, while he—once a formidable shinobi—probably only had his tough mouth left.
And Chiba Megumi had only become more alluring with time. All he could do was sigh in frustration.
After reading a little more, still unable to focus, the Third decided to finish early.
When the Hokage clocked out, so did his secretary.
"Goodbye, Lord Hokage."
"Hmm."
Outside the Hokage building, the two resumed their formal superior-subordinate roles, then parted, each heading to their own home.
Chiba Megumi's place wasn't far from the Hokage building. She rented a top-floor unit on the fifth floor and lived alone.
But she didn't go home right away.
"Boss, a bottle of Momiji."
Passing a yakitori shop, Chiba Megumi walked in. Without even sitting down, she ordered a bottle of Momiji liquor—clearly a regular.
The young male owner grabbed a bottle from the shelf behind him and placed it on the table with a cup.
Pop!
Chiba Megumi expertly opened the bottle, poured herself a drink, and downed it in one gulp. Her cheeks quickly flushed.
She had the kind of constitution that turned red with even a sip, but the redness was subtle—making her even more tempting.
"What would you like to eat tonight?"
The young boss asked quietly, trying not to be too distracted by the gorgeous view before him.
"Grilled chicken hearts!"
Thud. Chiba Megumi slammed down her glass and growled, "Only chicken hearts tonight!"
Soon after...
Skewers of freshly grilled chicken hearts were served.
Chiba Megumi devoured them one by one.
Gulp.
The young boss couldn't help swallowing hard.
That sound brought Chiba Megumi back from her daze. Her expression instantly soured, and she cast a disgusted look at the owner. She didn't eat the rest and left after hastily paying, despite his repeated apologies.
Her body existed solely to please the Hokage. Other men's gazes only made her feel repulsed.
Bang!
Back home, she slammed the door shut, feeling stifled in both mind and body—a frustrated need to release but no outlet.
Knock knock!
Hmm… Chiba Megumi froze mid-bend as she was taking off her shoes.
"Who's there?"
She leapt backward into the living room, eyes on the door, voice alert.
"It's me."
A voice she had longed to hear came from outside, instantly shifting her from vigilance to ecstatic excitement.
In a flash, she was at the door, opening it faster than she ever had for her own solitary pleasures—and sure enough, the silhouette she yearned for stood there.
"Please come in, Lord Hokage."
Chiba Megumi, holding back the overflowing emotions within, stepped aside and bowed to invite him in.
Once the Third was fully inside, she quickly closed the door and bent down to retrieve a pair of men's slippers from under the shoe cabinet.
"Lord... Hokage?"
She looked up in surprise when she saw he hadn't even taken off his shoes and was already in the living room. A trace of confusion flashed through her mind.
But she rationalized it quickly.
He must be in a hurry—he hadn't been here in so long.
With that thought, she pressed her thighs closer together.
"Lord Hokage..."
She shyly walked over and could no longer suppress the heat that had been building up for two years. She threw herself into his arms. The moment she touched him, she felt a scorching heat radiating from his body—far more intense than ever before.
This heat… was unlike anything she had experienced. It was almost as if he were a different person.
The thought flickered through her mind, but she quickly melted into the heat.
"Lord… Hokage..."
On the couch, Li Yao gazed up at Chiba Megumi.
"Until Sunday night, you'll stay here."
Li Yao quickly made his decision.
