"Actively using it..." Emiya repeated.
He raised his hand.
Armament Haki activated, and his right hand instantly turned pitch black.
"Try learning this."
Tohru nodded.
A bird-like spirit flew out from her eyes and entered Emiya's, causing him to recall the experience of learning Armament Haki.
The next second, Tohru raised her right hand.

Lelouch caught that they were talking about him and became even more guarded.
Still, he asked, "Excuse me... do we know each other?"
C.C. couldn't read Emiya's intentions.
She ignored him and turned her gaze to Lelouch instead.
At the same time, the roar of a helicopter echoed outside, followed by a voice through a loudspeaker.
"Warning! You still have the right to legal defense. Stop the vehicle immediately!"
The aircraft was clearly pursuing the train.
As soon as the warning ended, gunfire erupted.
The freight train swerved violently to dodge the shots.

The train ignored it and rushed into a tunnel, temporarily shaking off the pursuit.
Once the movement stabilized, C.C. stood up from Emiya's arms.

The door to the driver's cab flew open.
A red-haired girl rushed in.
She froze when she saw Emiya, Lelouch, C.C., and Tohru.
But she reacted fast.
She raised her gun and aimed it at them.
"Who are you?!"
Tohru instantly stepped forward.
She grabbed the gun with one hand and crushed it.
As a maid, she would never allow anyone to point a weapon at her master-even if it couldn't hurt him.
The red-haired girl gasped and dropped the ruined gun, retreating in panic.
Tohru didn't intend to stop there.
She stepped forward and threw a punch straight at the girl's head.
"Stop, Tohru."
Emiya's voice rang out.
Tohru's fist halted in midair, just millimeters from the girl's nose.
The red-haired girl looked like she had just escaped death.
Her legs gave out, and she collapsed to the floor.
"Master?" Tohru turned back, confused. She didn't understand why Emiya stopped her.
Emiya shook his head.
"It's just a small incident. No need to worry."
"Yes, Master."
Tohru nodded and lightly returned to his side.
Lelouch finally couldn't hold back.
"Who exactly are you people?"
Emiya smiled.
"Since you're asking, I'll explain. I'm Emiya, someone from another world. This is my maid, Tohru, an automaton. The woman beside me is C.C., an immortal. And the red-haired girl on the floor is Kallen Kouzuki, a member of the Britannian resistance."
Lelouch was completely stunned.

An automaton.

"What?!" Lelouch froze.
Someone knew his true identity.
"That's impossible!" Kallen shouted instinctively.
"Britannia is the name of the imperial family!"
Emiya nodded.
"Correct. The student standing here is a member of the Britannian royal family. The former Eleventh Prince of the Holy Britannian Empire. Vice president of the Ashford Academy student council. And the future leader of the Black Knights-Zero. The ninety-ninth Emperor of the Holy Britannian Empire."
"Nani...?"
Lelouch was utterly shaken.
Him?
The ninety-ninth Emperor of Britannia?
It was absurd.
"Impossible! How could I become the emperor of Britannia? My dream is to destroy Britannia!"
Kallen was even more confused.

"That was your original goal. But people change. And when people change, dreams change too."
He paused.
