On the side of the road, Hanemiya sat on the green grass watching the flowing the river, a cool breeze brushing his hair.
The sun was nearing it's dusk and was moderately blocked by clouds making the atmosphere relaxing.
From the side Kiyomasa approached with two boys flanking him.
When he reached where Hanemiya was sitting he spoke, " I've been looking all for you, why won't you stay in one place? "
Hanemiya lifted his head with hand covering his eye with a the hand which had the tattoo." Because the first division doesn't know how to shut up, " he replied his with a blank face. " Plus this place is soothing. "
" Sure, whatever you say, " Kiyomasa looked down on Hanemiya.
People passing by had their curious gaze on them, with Kiyomasa only turning his head slightly they all looked away nervously.
Then Hanemiya's gaze shifted towards Kiyomasa's arm, " I see, you are still in one piece. "
" Tch, do I look fine to you? With all these bandages " Kiyomasa complained while struggling to lift his left arm which was warped with bandages.
The bandages were warped from his fingers to the elbow.
" Like I said, one piece, " Hanemiya replied as he lay down with his hands behind the back of his head. " I'm surprised they didn't take your all arm off. "
" I got lucky, the boss is always going easy on younger members, " Kiyomasa sat down next to Hanemiya.
The two boys remained standing behind them in silence like bodyguards.
" You should count yourself lucky then, " a faint, almost imperceptible smirk played on Hanemiya's face.
" But.... I still can't believe I lost like that, " Kiyomasa stared at his clenching arm, " when I heal, I'm gonna destroy him. "
" You already got punished for losing, " Hanemiya's voice was a bit sarcastic, " you want a repeat of it. "
" Are you saying I'm going to lose? "
" I can't picture you winning a fight against that monster, " Hanemiya's voice was toneless.
" Just shut it I know that already! " Kiyomasa snapped, " I know I can't win... but that's only if I'm alone, he's still human with enough numbers we can take bring him down. "
Hanemiya yawned before replying, " just leave me out of it. "
" That's fine by me, " Kiyomasa took out a pack of cigarettes and started flicking on it.
Then he took out the cigarette which stuck out from the pack and lit it, " so how is the supply going on? "
" Don't know, " Hanemiya answered immediately, " I left the rookies to handle it. "
"Rookies? " Kiyomasa's raised a eyebrow. " What, we have new members? that's rare how did they manage to get it and are they strong? " Then he blew smoke through his gritted teeth.
" Orders from the boss i heard were, to get as many as many members as possible. "
" How many have you recruited so far? "
" Three, " Hanemiya answered his voice steady.
" Only three, I thought the orders said... " Kiyomasa was cut short before he could finish his sentence.
" I don't care about orders, " Hanemiya interrupted his tone low and certain. " I don't need more uselessness in my division, so I only picked three who looked interesting. "
Kiyomasa gave a slow, assessing blink as he blew out more smoke from his mouth.
Meanwhile Tatsuya was walking with two others beside him, one was a girl and the other was a boy they all wore black leather jackets.
Each was carrying a backpack on their shoulder as they walked down the alley, the sun was beginning to set so the alley was had a lot shade.
' I can't believe joining was that easy... was I lucky? ' Tatsuya adjusted his backpack.
' I thought my heart was going to pop out my chest, out of twenty people the division captain only choose us three but... ' he thought as he looked at the two besides him.
' we've been walking from more than thirty minutes without saying a single word to each other. it didn't take long after joining for the captain to send us on his this job, Maybe I should be the one to break the ice,' he suggested to himself.
He then adjusted his bag, he then looked over to the girl with a cautious side glance. ' but how do you start a conversation with a girl wearing a gas mask. '
The girl had pink hair and the sound of her breathing through the black gas mask was very distracting to Tatsuya.
Then he shifted his gaze towards the boy on his other side, ' this guy is even more terrifying, he might hit me with that crowbar. "
The boy was dragging a crowbar, the fiction between it and the concrete making small sparks. his green eyes looking focused as a breeze brushed through his white hair.
They continued walking in silence for another few minutes before they reached the end of the path, a wire fence was blocking the road.
Then they just stood there Tatsuya trying to avoid looking their way as he looked down and firm griped the strap of his bag.
The sound of the girl taking the backpack off her shoulder reached Tatsuya's ear and then she grabbed the zip but before she could start moving it.
Tatsuya felt a strong wind breezed pass by him and the next thing he saw was the white haired boy pointing his crowbar at the girl's throat.
" Our orders were not look inside, not get caught and delivery these bags here, " he said his tone serious and eyes looking hollow.
The girl narrowed her eyes, she didn't respond or move.
" Go ahead, open it and we'll see if I won't stab your throat out, " the white haired boy tone was detached.
The girl didn't move, her expression unreadable. Her eyes studied the boy's face for a long moment before she slowly lifted an arm in surrender. Then she silently strapped the bag back on her shoulders.
And again the silence continued between, But for Tatsuya upon witnessing the scene his heart was pounding fast.
' That almost looked like a Ren level feat, my heart won't stop racing... it's the thing can hear, ' he thought as he took deep breaths as he tried calmed himself down. ' i should try to stay on the good side of this boy If want to be safe, that's speaking if he has one. '
The silence was broken by the sound of footsteps and laugher coming from the other side of the wired fence.
Four figures came in sight and Tatsuya's eyes widened, ' that's our school's uniform, are they the ones we delivering these bags to? what kind of deal could students have with headless gang? Are they just other members? ' questions rushed in Tatsuya's head.
One of the boys climbed over the fence with ease and landed on the ground, the other three just stood back, the girl was wearing a hoody over her head.
Then the boy approached the three, when he stood in front of them he looked down on them with his brown eyes.
" These are the new carriers, " he said his eyes observing them. " talk about wardrobe malfunctions Hanemiya does have horrible fashion sense. "
Then he added, " I'm Hanagaki, you should always remember that name, carriers. "
Hanagaki then moved his hand and gesturing them to hand over the bags. The three each without a word handed their backpacks to him
As soon as he grabbed the backpacks he tossed them over the fence and three caught them.
And immediately ran Hanagaki then jumped and step on the wired fence, bouncing on it and using that momentum to flip over to other side.
As soon as he landed the four students disappeared into the darkness but for a moment Tatsuya caught a glimpse of the girl under the the hoody.
" What's going on? " Tatsuya's voice cracked.
There was no response and the next thing he felt was a hand grabbing and pulling his collar.
He turned his head and saw the person dragging him, it was the masked girl she was moving him towards the fire escape stairs.
' What are we running from? ' he thought as his heart rate started going up again but he followed her lead regardless then they started climbing the stairs.
Tatsuya was first to climb as the girl followed from behind while watching down. They moved fast and made it to the roof in less than a minute.
" That was close. " The white haired boy sudden popped up in Tatsuya's sight standing next to him which made him jumped slightly.
' What was close? What the hell is going on? " Tatsuya's thought his hand began shaking slightly as they looked down the building. ' someone please tell me. '
