After the supper, the festivities were coming to an end, and the time had come to depart. The guests all rose and began to move towards the foyer, bidding each other farewell as they took their leave. "You should visit us sometimes, mother," I murmur softly, squeezing her hands dearly. "I miss having you around." The warmth of her touch brings me a sense of comfort. "I will," she replies softly, her expression softening with a small smile. We said our farewells before we went to our carriage. We leaned back in our seats and sighed, satisfied with the evening's events.
As we reached the palace,William took my hand and led me quickly to the palace, a sense of urgency in his manner. I felt his grip tighten around mine as he hurried us onward. "William?" My voice was tinged with curiosity as I was struck by his sudden and urgent behavior. My mind was flooded with questions and concerns. "Your Grace, welcome ba-" the guard began, but was quickly passed by William. The guard looked confused as I looked back, his face reflecting an expression of mild perplexity.
As we reached our chamber, William immediately shut the door behind us and locked it securely, and my worries worsened as I realised just how insistent he was on being alone with me. "William-" I tried to speak, hoping for an explanation, but he quickly silenced me with his lips. He leaned in and pressed his lips against mine. His touch was urgent as he sought to embrace me tightly. His hungry kisses were making me want to lean into him and give in fully.
which I did.
His fingers had started impatiently unbuttoning my gown and loosening the laces of my corset, eager to free me from the restrictive clothing. His kisses had become forceful and desperate. Exposed to his hungry, devouring gaze, his hands roamed freely, exploring my skin. I was stripped of my protective clothing, exposed, and vulnerable to his touch and kisses. His clothing was flung to the floor as he hurried to shed his layers, his body exposed and ready. His manhood rose in attention. Our bodies pressed together in an almost frantic embrace. Our mouths met and locked together, our tongues exploring and caressing one another as he pulled me closer to him. He sat me upon the bed and slowly eased my body down onto the mattress, his own body following me down, his strength and warmth engulfing me.
I let him take control, eager to be taken and claimed by him.
There were no words, just movement.
His lips moved from my neck to my bosom. The sensation of his warm breath against my nipples as he kissed and licked them was a stimulating one. His hand trailed down to where I wanted him the most, his touch becoming more confident as he reached my most sensitive spot. I put my hand to my lips, trying to stifle my audible moans, my body trembling beneath his touch. I closed my eyes and mumbled through clenched teeth to muffle my sounds of pleasure. His hands crept up to my hips and grasped them, leaning in closer as he pushed himself against me. My hands clung to his back as he moved, holding him close to me.our hips rolling and grinding against each other, Our moans became one.He looked at me as if I were the only person in the world. "Your touch is like fire, igniting all my senses in an instant." He murmured, his voice laced with a deep sense of satisfaction. I could feel every inch of him, every curve and contour of his body. Our moans could almost certainly be heard behind the door to our chamber. but I was too lost in the moment to care. Our bodies were moving together in an unceasing rhythm that left both of us breathless and panting. I felt myself getting closer. With a final push,The feeling of his release was intense and overwhelming; my sighs blended with his as we lay panting and exhausted on the bed.
His hands trailed down my body, gently caressing my bare skin. The sensation of his touch was comforting and soothing, and I felt a sense of peace and calm wash over me. He slowly and tenderly brushed my hair back from my face. His touch felt like a sheltering embrace, one that made the outside world disappear. We lay under the sheets, skin to skin, my head resting on his shoulder. His warm chest was smooth and soft, and I could not resist the urge to run my fingers lightly across his chest. "Your mother is very fond of me," I said, smiling softly. William laughed gently, his eyes filled with amusement as he looked down at me. "Of course she is," William replied with a mischievous grin. He leaned down and planted a light kiss on my forehead, his touch causing a pleasant shiver to run through my body. His eyes were full of affection and admiration as he gazed down at me. "She told me she would come for a visit tomorrow. an important discussion she wants to have with me," William said, a hint of worry in his voice. "Nothing to worry about, I hope." William took my hand and squeezed it gently, his eyes soft as he looked down at me. "Me as well,"
The next morning, I woke up alone in bed. The warmth and comforting presence that I was used to was absent, and the sudden silence felt unbearable. I sat up in bed, my body still stinging from our passionate encounter the night before, but there was no trace of William anywhere. I held the sheets to my chest as I leaned on the headboard, looking around me. The chamber was silent and empty, devoid of any presence except my own.
I pulled the silky white robe that was lying on the floor around me. The robe was soft and light, providing comforting warmth and cushioning my naked body. I reached for the golden bell next to me and rang it fiercely, desperate for a servant to come and aid me. The servants all entered the chamber one by one, bowing their heads respectfully to me as they bid me good morning. One servant moved the curtains, letting the fresh morning air in. The other stepped forward to help me with my clothing, helping me get dressed for the day.
After a while, Alina entered the room, her calming presence immediately relieving my anxiety. She stood by my side and smiled kindly at the servants, who immediately backed away, giving us some privacy. "Good morning, Alina," I said, welcoming her presence. The handmaid draped the necklace around my neck. The necklace felt heavy and awkward on my neck. "Sorry for the delay, princess; I was discussing some things with the cook," she said. "No need to apologise, Alina. I know you have many duties to carry out." I smiled softly at her. The handmaidens completed their duties to perfection, and they excused themselves once their work was done. I was left alone with Alina. "Have you seen William?" I asked her, my mind once again consumed with William's unexpected departure this morning. "Actually, he is with her majesty; I saw her arrive in the palace rather early. I assume he didn't want to wake you up early," Alina explained. "I see," I muttered, trying to hide the disappointment in my voice. I expected William to be here with me this morning. "I assume you had quite the night, from the amount of...pleasurable voices that were heard," Alina continued, a mischievous smile playing on her lips. "Alina!" I exclaimed, shocked by her boldness.
My face felt like it was on fire.
"What? I'm only stating the truth." "Alina, please," I said, trying to suppress a smile despite my best attempts. "All right, all right," she responded, and she stepped back away from me with a teasing smile on her face. "Breakfast is waiting for you, your highness." I rolled my eyes at her, but I couldn't help but chuckle.
The servant poured the tea, and I could immediately tell it was freshly brewed and deliciously hot.
The taste was perfect.
not too weak, but not too strong either. I was about to cut a slice of the beautifully displayed cake myself when the servant cut the slice for me and placed it on my plate. The servant nodded politely at me before stepping back respectfully. As I ate, the taste of the cake was delicious and scrumptious, and I found myself taking bigger bites as I savoured every single bite.
"Isabella, what do we have for this day?" I asked my second lady in waiting, who was standing next to me and observing me as I ate my breakfast.
'The beautiful red-headed girl'
was the title I had given her, and she was indeed a beauty. Her long, strawberry-red hair contrasted perfectly with her delicate porcelain skin, giving her a striking appearance. However, it was her eyes that truly stood out, with their captivating emerald green hue that had the power to entrance anyone who looked into them. Her freckles were a charming addition to her beauty, dotting her pale skin in a soft manner that only enhanced her delicate features. Her well-built body was toned and curved in all the right places, giving her an alluring appearance. She was the epitome of Zorrian beauty. "We have nothing planned for today, your grace. I would suggest relaxing in the gardens."
"Hmm," considering her suggestion. I finished my breakfast, dabbing the dainty handkerchief on my mouth to wipe away any crumbs. "Have you seen the prince, Isabella?" I asked, "I believe he is in the gallery room with her majesty, your grace." She answered, and I sighed with relief. Now I know where he is. "I shall go see them then," I said, standing up as I looked at Alina and Isabella. I brushed my skirts gently, ensuring there were no spills from the delicious breakfast I had just eaten. "Any need of assistance, princess?" Alina asked, and I smiled back at her calmly. "No, thank you. I shall be fine on my own." I could manage without an escort.
I walked up the stairs, my footsteps light and swift as I climbed up the winding stairway. I walked on the carpeted hallway, the soft material under my feet providing gentle cushioning with each step. As I got closer to the gallery chamber, I could hear William's voice. It was loud and sharp, as if he was arguing with someone.
My heart sank as I overheard his angry words. It seemed like he was arguing with his mother, and the voices were getting louder and more forceful with each passing second. I heard his voice drift over to me, his words cutting through the air with a sharp edge. I froze at the sound, my ears straining to hear what he was saying. My heart thumped in my chest as I realised that the words coming from his mouth were not kind, but cold and calculated. I wanted to turn away but felt compelled to stay and listen. The tension between the prince and his mother grew thicker with each passing word. It was clear that they were arguing about something important, so I focused my attention on William's words, trying to make sense of the argument. In the midst of the heated debate, his words caught my attention. "-I do not love the princess, mother! I never did, and will not! Tell her that!" His tone was cold and dismissive.
My heart shattered into pieces as I realised that he was referring to...
me.
At that moment, I felt the entire world fall away from me. My heart thumped in my chest as I came face to face with the truth. The prince had never loved me. All his kind words and gentleness had been nothing more than a charade, a mask to conceal his true feelings. I felt like a fool for believing that he had genuinely cared for me. I felt betrayed and heartbroken as my feelings for him turned into resentment. The pain inside me was overwhelming. I felt like a failure, a fool for believing in a fairytale and falling in love with a man who had never loved me. I could only blame myself for my stupidity. My thoughts clouded my judgement as the reality of my situation hit me hard, breaking me into pieces.
I ran away, away from everything, feeling numb and empty. I could only ask myself why I had been so stupid to believe in his lies.
in the gallery room:
"I kept telling Queen Margaret over and over that you are already betrothed to Anna, but Princess Jane does NOT seem to understand," Queen Victoria was saying. The frustration in her voice was palpable.
"Did you hear that? Someone must be spying on us." William said, his voice filled with suspicion. His mother looked around nervously, searching for any hint of who might have overheard their argument. The tension between the two was heightened further as they grew uncertain about whether they had been infiltrated or not.
