Lin stopped Drew from leaving; she believed he needed to know, too. Shortly, Victor joined them. They were all family now, and if she was going to reveal such a big thing in her life, they all needed to be there.
Lin took a deep breath before she began speaking. "Zyra, Rin. I'm so sorry I left. I felt weak, I felt useless in the situation". She paused again before she continued. "The only way to free Grandma Ophelia was our voices and I don't have mine anymore…". As the word left her mouth, a tear drop also left her eye; her head was lowered. "... I lost my voice weeks back and I'd been hiding it from all of you. I didn't even know how to tell you guys, and all of a sudden, the moment came when I needed it the most, and it wasn't there. I couldn't help".
"You should have told us". Zyra spoke calmly placing her hand on Lin's shoulder.
"I know… I was just scared".
"What happened? How did you lose your voice? When?...". Nerina asked confused. "I mean I was here all the time".
