Victor, Drew, and Tyla walked into the Ashbourne mansion slowly and cautiously. When they stepped into the living room, they froze in their steps. The entire house was crowded, with sirens. As soon as they entered, the sirens all perceived human blood and turned in their direction, ready to attack.
As they ran towards them, Victor and Drew's instincts were to flee, but Tyla quickly stepped in front of them to defend them. For some reason, her threat stopped a whole park of sirens from attacking. She was just one, and they were more than twenty. Why were they scared of her?
While Victor and Drew were trying to figure it out, Lin and Nerina ran out, pushing their way through the pack.
"Drew, you came back". Lin spoke emotionally as she ran into his arms.
Nerina also ran to embrace Victor. Lin and Drew almost didn't want to let go of each other. It had been almost forever since he left. When they finally broke the hug, Nerina asked.
"You two are here, where is Zyra?".
