~~~ [START]
In an enclosed, darkened room lit only by the burning embers of faint red candles, a woman who looked too old to be living sat in the comfort of an office chair.
She wore a long red dress, and the fangs of her teeth slightly showed from her lips, revealed further by the dark red potency of her lip gloss.
On her left hand, which had long black nails that anyone would mistake for claws, was a thin, see-through glass, and in it was blood.
Blood, which she played with like whiskey, watching as it rotated within.
And through the room's open door walked in an old man who resembled the spitting image of a corpse. He wore a clean white tuxedo, and his skin and teeth were as pale as dust.
He stood right next to her figure, in proportion to her seat, watching as she swirled the glass, causing the blood inside to spin slowly.
She drew it closer, going for another sip. And as its contents embraced her tongue, her eyes closed in utmost pleasure. Yet, after a second, or what seemed less, a frown crept upon her lips.
"Is it still failing to work?" the old butler's voice echoed through the silence, and although his voice was ancient, it still held an unmistakable sense of conviction.
The old woman didn't turn to him; she only clicked her tongue in completely held-back, tainted anguish.
"Three hundred years as 'Vampire,'" she finally said, her voice sounding somewhat annoyed. "We asked for pleasure, and we were given blood," she spat, not yielding to release a breath. "We asked for dreams, and we were given wealth." She shook her head, truly bothered. "We didn't ask for life, and we were given a millennium." The butler stepped back, noticing the anger in her words. "We never asked for it, yet it was still given." She continued. "We didn't ask for more than three hundred years, yet we were still forced to live out decades." Her eyes grew wider as the chair she was seated on slightly shook. "And now…" she hesitated, finally calming. "After millennia of enjoying that pleasure, they decide to take it away." She sighed loudly after her words. "Taking away what they forcefully gave… pathetic!"
She stood up, making her way toward the open window. She turned her gaze to the sight, her eyes meeting nothing, but a castle surrounded by ocean, stretching millions of miles in depth.
"Call the council," she said, turning her eyes to the glass of blood she held in her hand. Closely watching as it faintly turned into golden dust, slowly disappearing into oblivion. "Tell them the boy has associated himself with a Frump," she paused for a second, clearly showing hesitation, "and the Addams."
"Damn, so the rumours were true," Ajax said, shaking his head while turning his eyes to the playing TV. "It's really hard to believe, man, going through all that torture."
"Ahh!" Ash shouted in frustration as a gang member shot his GTA character. Xavier, who was seated next to him, burst into laughter, holding his gut to restrict the giggles.
"I told you," Xavier said, shaking his head, then grabbing the joystick from Ash's hands. "Don't go around robbing stores in another gang's territory."
Ash just pouted his lips, folding his arms to mimic anger. Then he sighed, turning his eyes to Ajax, who was looking straight at him.
"It's not as bad as it sounds," Ash finally replied, leaning his head back on the couch he was seated on. "And aren't you going to your room?" Ash asked, raising his brows.
Ajax shook his head, clicking his tongue in disbelief.
"This was my room," he announced, causing Ash's eyes to widen and a forced laugh to escape his lips. "Principal Weems told me to move out three days ago." He leaned back, taking the popcorn from his side, quickly pushing back a snake that almost crept out of his beanie with the tip of one of his fingers. "I just figured I'd camp here since my new roommate is a total freak."
Ash's eyes brightened with interest.
"Is he one of the guys without facial features?" He asked, causing Ajax to shake his head in giggles.
"Na," he said, eating a handful. "It's just a vampire; you know how they are. The fridge is always stocked with a ton of human blood."
Ash stared away, turning his eyes to the TV.
Xavier sighed as he tossed the joystick to Ajax. Both Ash and Ajax laughed as they saw what was on the screen.
It was Trevor, an in-game character they would always find completely naked.
"It's just so annoying," Xavier spat in frustration. "If he isn't harassing someone, he's always picking trouble with the bikers."
This caused more giggles as the others listened to his words; he sounded too relatable.
There was silence for a while as they immersed themselves in the sounds of in-game characters being chased by the police.
Ash turned his eyes to Ajax once again, only this time not staring away.
"What's up?" Ajax asked, noticing his unshifting gaze.
Ash just smiled mischievously, his grin so wide it nearly reached the ends of his teeth.
"Question." He moved toward Ajax's figure, scooting closer. "I have always… wondered." His voice sounded completely devoid of hesitation. "What would happen if… stone someone while you are… you know… doing it?"
Ajax raised a brow, clearly confused by the question.
"He means sex," Xavier shot in, causing Ajax to gain enough clarity.
Then, his eyes suddenly widened, his cheeks slightly turning red.
"You know…" Ash held out his hand, making a circle, then pointing out a finger and inserting it within.
