Chapter 18 - Chapter 18 TNT (Edited)

"What the f—!?"

Stane's eyes nearly popped out of his sockets as he watched the scene through the Iron Monger Armor's video system.

A frying pan actually blocked his anti-tank missile!

Who could tell him what scientific principle this was!?

As a top scientist, Tony, for his part, expressed: "I'd like to know too!"

Stane forcefully suppressed the surging absurdity in his heart, staring at Du Mu and saying, "I know you, you're Tony's bodyguard."

Du Mu advised, "Stane, stop this, your daughter is still waiting for you to come home for dinner."

Stane: "?"

No, how did you know about this?

"No matter who you are, anyone who obstructs me must die!"

Stane snorted coldly, controlling the Iron Monger Armor to charge fiercely at Du Mu, his massive metal fist swinging high and smashing down hard on Du Mu!

Du Mu dodged the attack with a nimble roll, and a pit was instantly created where he had been standing.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Du Mu pulled out his golden desert eagle and fired continuously, bullets sparking off the Iron Monger Armor.

"Hahaha! Useless! My Iron Monger Armor is invincible!"

Stane laughed arrogantly, and the Iron Monger Armor immediately raised its arm, the Gatling gun barrels rotating again!

Da da da da da—!

A dense storm of metal instantly formed, sweeping wildly towards Du Mu!

Du Mu immediately dodged with agile footwork, sprinting and rolling, his movements fluid and his evasion incredibly skilled!

These were all basic operations from playing soul-like games in the past; the footwork was already ingrained in his DNA.

After Stane's round of sweeping fire, he didn't even manage to graze Du Mu's clothes.

What was even more irritating was that Du Mu kept spouting various taunts while dodging.

"Old lady crossing the road, old lady doing square dancing, old lady's step-back…"

F*ck you, old lady!

Stane's blood pressure rapidly soared, his face visibly reddening.

"Stane!"

Tony naturally wouldn't just watch the show; seizing the opportunity, a row of miniature missiles rose from the Mark III's shoulder, instantly locking onto the target and firing!

Boom!!

A violent explosion completely engulfed the Iron Monger Armor, with thick black smoke and flames soaring into the sky.

But as the saying goes, where there's smoke, there's no injury.

A heavy metallic thud sounded as the Iron Monger Armor stepped out of the flames completely unharmed; there wasn't even a noticeable dent on its armor surface, only scorch marks from the explosion.

Du Mu jumped to Tony's side and whispered, "This Boss's defense is a bit overpowered, much stronger than your armor."

Tony: "…"

Damn it, I'll build an even bigger one when I get back!

"His shell is too thick, this isn't going to work, Tony, I have a plan!" Du Mu suddenly said.

"What plan?"

"Don't ask, I'll go prepare first. You try your best to hold off Stane, then lead him to this location, and leave the rest to me." Du Mu named an outdoor location.

"Alright."

Given the circumstances, Tony could only choose to trust Du Mu.

Watching Du Mu turn and run off, Stane taunted, "Tony, your bodyguard seems to have abandoned you."

"Just like your wife abandoned you back then, didn't she? Then she found a second husband, and even made her daughter your assistant?"

When it came to sharp tongues, Tony truly wasn't afraid of many people.

"You're asking for death!"

Stane was instantly enraged, casting Du Mu out of his mind and engaging Tony in battle again.

After a few rounds, Tony quickly found himself at a disadvantage, being pressed to the ground and rubbed by the Iron Monger Armor, the Mark III directly becoming a damaged version.

However, the anti-vibration system of this Iron Armor was indeed abnormal.

By common sense, even if the Iron Armor's outer shell was hard, the human body inside should have long turned into a pulp or suffered severe concussion under such violent kinetic impact.

Yet, Tony, apart from being dizzy, was still full of vigor, as if the Iron Armor was his health bar; as long as the Iron Armor was intact, he wouldn't get hurt, just like the combat and clothing destruction settings in a certain game.

Bang!!

Tony was sent flying by the Iron Monger Armor for who knows how many times!

He immediately activated his hand thrusters to stabilize himself, hovering in mid-air in a slightly embarrassing maiden-like pose.

Seeing this, Stane laughed wildly, "Not bad, improved, but I've also improved a few things myself!"

No sooner had he spoken than dazzling flames erupted from the Iron Monger Armor's feet, and its massive body actually wobbled and ascended into the air!

Copycat!

Tony Stark gnashed his teeth in hatred, then ordered Jarvis to head towards the location Du Mu had mentioned.

Stane followed closely behind, unwilling to show weakness, his legs spewing out like Rockets, emitting a large amount of black exhaust that caused severe environmental pollution.

The two chased each other in the air, and soon arrived at a location in the suburbs.

"Remaining energy less than 5%."

As soon as he landed, Tony heard Jarvis's voice.

After such a long battle, the Iron Armor's energy was already running low.

"Where did that Du Mu guy go? He didn't run away, did he?"

Tony felt a surge of anxiety, looking around but unable to find Du Mu.

Bang!

Suddenly, Tony heard a heavy thud behind him.

As Tony turned his head, he saw the Iron Monger Armor land behind him and suddenly reach out to embrace him tightly.

Stane sneered, "Tony, is this the graveyard you've chosen for yourself?"

As he spoke, the Iron Monger Armor's hands gradually exerted force, performing a 'hold-the-girl-in-arms' move, and the Mark III immediately emitted sounds of being overwhelmed.

Jarvis simultaneously reported non-stop: "Left arm severely damaged, most weapons inoperable, air conditioning system intact…"

"Chaff flares!!"

Tony roared, and the Mark III's legs instantly shot out a large amount of flames, forcing the Iron Monger Armor to release its hands, allowing him to barely break free.

"Energy remaining 2%, activating emergency backup power." Jarvis's voice sounded again.

Damn it!

Tony secretly thought, "This is bad."

As the energy ran out, the Mark III lost most of its functions, leaving only the most basic mobility.

At this moment, Stane also recovered. Seeing the dimly lit Mark III, he immediately understood what was happening and said with a mocking tone, "How ironic, Tony, you said you wanted to eliminate weapons, but you ended up creating even more powerful ones."

"Now, die by the weapon you created with your own hands!"

Stane controlled the Iron Monger Armor and walked towards Tony, preparing to send his nephew to meet his deceased father.

Suddenly, a voice came from a distance.

"Hey, look here."

Stane immediately looked towards the source of the sound, finding Du Mu aiming an RPG Rocket launcher at him.

Stane scoffed disdainfully, "You think this thing can hurt my armor?"

"One isn't enough, then what about a hundred?"

"?"

Before Stane could think further, Du Mu decisively pulled the trigger!

Whoosh—!

The Rocket, trailing its exhaust, directly blasted towards Stane's… feet!

Boom!!!

The violent explosion instantly tore open the ground!

Stane felt the ground disappear beneath him, and the Iron Monger Armor immediately lost its balance, falling uncontrollably downwards!

Amidst the swirling dust, Stane was shocked to discover that he had fallen into a massive underground space. The surrounding blocks of soil and rock were very strange, being perfectly regular square shapes, and there were also clear excavation marks.

And at the bottom of this huge pit, countless identical red and white square objects were scattered, flashing with urgent white light.

Three dazzling letters were clearly printed on them:

TNT!
