Ashley was writing down what the lecturer was saying when he called her.
"Sir?" She replied standing up.
"Where's Ariel?" He asked and she bit her lips looking at Logan.
"She and Conrad went to meet her aunt for some school materials." Logan replied standing up.
"Did they take permission slip from Mr Griffin?" He asked.
"Yes sir" Ashley replied.
"I'd make sure of that, excuse me class" He said and left the class.
Logan looked at Ashley before they both left the class together.
"What are we going to do if the principal says no?" Ashley asked.
"Conrad must have done something about it so keep calm" Logan said and they nodded.
They got to a corner and hid there watching the lecturer enter the office. They ran towards the door and placed their ears listening to the conversation.

"Good day, how may I help you?" Mr Griffin asked the lecturer.
"Good day Sir. I just wanted to ask if you know that two students are absent? Ariel and Conrad to be precise" He asked and Griffin stared at him before speaking.
"Yes I'm aware. I gave them the permission slip so don't you worry" Griffin said and the lecturer nodded before standing up.
"I'd take my leave now" The lecturer said and smiled before going to the door.

Ashley and Conrad ran away immediately running to the class. They went to stand at their seats before laughing.
"We're crazy" They said at a time.
"Jinx. You owe me two hamburgers" They said and laughed again.
Matty frowned and the lecturer came back in.
"I guess you both were right, you may now sit" He said and they sat down.
Ashley looked at Logan who was staring at her with a smile. She smiled as well before facing the board.

Ariel's eyes went open and she sat up slowly looking around.
"Where the hell am I?" She asked looking around the beautiful garden.
"You're in my world, Ariel" A voice said behind her and she turned to see Gorya.
"And who are you?" Ariel asked standing up.
"I'm Gorya. A deity!"
"So...what am I doing in your world?" Ariel asked folding her arms.
"You are here to know about the dark spirit in you" She said and Ariel furrowed her brows.
"Dark what now?"
"Dark spirit. The spirit that made you almost kill my baby, Ava. I would have ended you right that instant buh I realized you weren't in control" She said and Ariel's eyes widened.
"I almost killed Ava?" Ariel asked and Gorya gave her a look before turning around.
She pointed her hand at a wall and what happened earlier showed on the wall.
"Is that enough proof?" She asked facing Ariel.
The view disappeared and she looked at Gorya.
"I didn't mean to. I didn't even know I did that" Ariel said looking at her hand.
"I know. You have to learn how to control or else, you're going to kill someone" Gorya said and Ariel looked at her.
"How?"
"The dark spirit is another part of you. Another side of you that's waiting to be unleashed"
"How do I stop it from getting unleashed?" She asked and Gorya sighed.
"You can't" Gorya said and Ariel's eyes widened.
"Conrad is the only one capable of helping you. He knows how just ask him" Gorya said and blew air out of her mouth. That small air turned to wind and it blew Ariel away bringing her back to reality.
Gorya sighed and then she turned to see her sister standing there.
"You didn't tell her she would actually kill someone"
"I can't make her scared. I'm sure she'd be able to control herself before that time comes" Gorya said with uncertainty.

"When will Ariel and Conrad get back, I'm starting to miss Ariel" Ashley mumbled and Logan who was sitting on the bench beside her sighed.
"I have no idea. I just hope they'd be back before the end of today" Logan said and Ashley nodded.
"When will you tell me what you are?" Ashley asked and Logan's eyes widened as he looked at her.
"What?"
"Oh don't act like a saint. Matty is a werewolf, Ariel is a witch and Conrad is, I think a demon. So what about you, what are you?" She asked ans Logan's eyes widened again standing up.
"How did you know?"
She stood as well.
"I was in the room when I saw a portal open and Ariel's hand picked a book. I also went through a book Ariel has when she was showering and I saw a lot of spells so I just decided that she's a witch and about Conrad, he happens to always be there when something happens to Ariel. Crazy things happens whenever he's there and I just gave him demon. Although I thought he might be a vampire buh I decided to say Demon. I never actually knew, I just guess and you agreeing to it with the question you asked means my guess was right" Ashley said and he blinked.
"Oh and I know Matty is a werewolf cos I saw her claws. And I know all these creatures exist the moment I saw that crazy lady that came to destroy us" Ashley added.
Logan frowned and grabbed her arm before running deeper into the garden. They hid behind a bush and Ashley furrowed her brows.
"What....." She was cut short when Logan placed a finger on his lips.
He peeped through the leaves and saw Matty coming in.
"I thought I heard their voices" Matty said looking around.
"Damn" Matty said and kicked the bench before leaving the garden.
Logan turned his face to Ashley and she gasped when she realized how close his face was to hers.
She blinked cutely and Logan couldn't help but admire her face.
"Urm, your urm finger" She said staring at his lips. He muttered an 'oh' before taking his fingers off her lips.
She exhaled before speaking.
"Who was that?" Ashley asked.
"It's Matty" Logan said and Ashley scoffed.
"Chill, I don't like the fact that she's being gummy towards me. She's pretty and all buh she's not my spec so chill" Logan said and Ashley's eyes widened.
"What?" Logan asked and stood before walking out of the bushes.
Ashley's eyes remained wide open and she touched her chest feeling her heart beating rapidly.
"Are you coming?" Logan asked and she wanted to reply but a loud scream left her lips.
"Ashley" Logan ran back towards her and his eyes widened when he saw a black snake with horns on its head licking it's lips.
He looked at Ashley who had a snake bite on the side of her tummy, tears escaping her eyes. Some kind of anger surged inside him and his eyes glowed a dark shade of yellow.
His canines came out so as his claws and the snake let out a dark chuckle.
