"Take her out of the school or I will kill her using your name" Andrea said and he stared at her for a while before laughing out coldly.
She bit her lips waiting for what he'd do when he stops laughing.
"You think threatening me will make me take her out of the school? Not even in your wildest dreams." He said and faced his laptop.
"If you kill her, the blood of two people will be on your hands and you'd be arrested. Be warned dearest daughter" He said and she frowned folding her fists tightly before standing up leaving the room.
Gabriel looked up from his laptop and brought out his phone.
"Get your boys ready, I have someone I want to handle tonight" He said and ended the call. He smirked before continuing to type his speech.
5PM ★» ROOFTOP »★
Ariel opened the door to the rooftop before walking in. She saw a blanket on the ground with a basket and a pile of books on the ground.
She smiled and walked there settling down on the blanket.
"Took you long enough" Conrad said coming to settle down opposite her.
"I came here 5pm" She said.
"No, you came here 5:10pm" He said.
"Just 10 minutes difference" She said.
"It's a big difference, you came late" He said and she scoffed.
"We ain't in class and you're not my teacher to tell me if I'm late or not" She said.
"But we're partners. We supposed to keep to time" He said and she rolled her eyes.
"Sorry! You happy now?" She said and asked.
"No cos you don't mean it" He said and she scoffed then remembered something.
"Don't move" She said and stood coming to squat behind him. She rose up his shirt and her eyes widened a bit when she didn't see anything on his back.
"Where are the scars?" Ariel asked using her hands to caress his back.
"Scars of what?"
"The time you used your body as a shield to prevent what were being thrown at me" She said.
"Ohh that?. The injuries left already. I'm a fast healer" He said and she muttered an 'oh' before dropping his shirt. She stood and walked back to her side near him on the blanket and sat.
"Let's begin" He said and she nodded.
She brought out her book and began reading through it.
"We're meant to study everything about Fluorine and come tell the class" Conrad said without looking up.
"I know. I was there when she was saying it" She said.
"I know you know, I only said that because you were reading through the wrong pages." He said and she muttered an 'oh.'
"Thanks" She said and he wanted to talk but she went close to him and placed her index finger on his lips.
"Don't say you don't need it. It's annoying" She said and he just stared at her. His blue eyes boring into her soul and she blinked.
He brought her hand down before speaking.
"What should I say then?"
"You're welcome" She said
"No!"
"My pleasure"
"No!"
"Anytime"
"No!"
"Then what?" She asked.
"You owe me" He said and she chuckled.
"Alright, how do I repay you?" She asked.
"They're many ways to repay me but not now just chill alright?" He said and asked.
"Ohh okay" She said and looked at the basket of food. Her gaze landed on a book beside him.
"Ain't that my book?" She asked and he stared at the book then her.
"Yes why?" He asked and she wanted to carry it but he took it immediately.
"That's stealing since I didn't give it you. Give it back" She said trying to take it from him but he didn't let her.
"I like the book, allow me read" He said and she tried to get it but he didn't let her.
"Okay" She said dropping the rest of the books.
"Good" He said and she stood rushing to him. He quickly took to his feet and ran away.
"Come back here" Ariel said rushing after him.
"Get me if you can" He said and she increased her speed.
"Conrad!!" She yelled and then she stopped running.
She stood in one place her eyes turning pure brown. She fell into a trance immediately.

"Daddy!!!!" Little Ariel yelled and her father who was in the sitting room ran to the kitchen and met her bleeding from her index finger.
"Ariel, what happened?" He asked getting a napkin which he used to tie her finger.
"I was trying to slice the carrots. Can you please help me do that?" She asked.
"Yes but then you have to try again" He said.
"What if I loose a finger this time around?" She asked and her dad chuckled squatting down in front of her.
"That won't happen. You have to learn to do things on your own sweetheart cos there's gonna be a time when we won't be there for you. We won't be able to tell you sorry when you cry, we won't be able to go buy you ice cream when you crave for it, there are many things you'd start doing yourself after we leave" he said and she frowned.
"Why are you saying this?"
"I just want to let you know that and that I love you so much" He said and hugged her. She furrowed her brows before hugging him back.

She ran to the car that was on fire crying insanely.
"Daddy!!" She called trying to touch the car but Taylor pulled her back.
"It's dangerous" Taylor said.
"Mummy!!!" She yelled and tried breaking out of her grip but she couldn't.
She was able to see through the fire shockingly and she saw her father. He let out a small smile and she smiled sadly. Her mother smiled at her too and she sniffed smiling back.
The fire completely swallowed them and Taylor carried Ariel moving away from there.
The car exploded with her parents inside.
"No!!!" She yelled.

"Ariel" Conrad called and looked back.
A tear drop rolled down her open eyelids and he ran to her immediately.
"Love" He called using his hands to rub her shoulders slowly.
She snapped back to reality.
"He knew he'd die soon, he warned me but I wasn't ready. He shouldn't have left, he shouldn't have!!" She cried hitting his chest.
He pulled her into a hug rubbing her waist soothingly.
"Let it all out" He said and her arms went around his neck deepening the hug.
His right hand went to her back while his left stayed on her waist.
She sniffed on his shoulder and he smiled inhaling her scent.
