"Ariel" Logan called running to her but before he could get to her, Conrad pulled her back by the arm.
One of the wounded girls stood up with a wince and staggered out of the garden. The two stood with a groan and woke the unconscious one.
"What happened to Lilah?" One of them asked staring at Lilah who had a bite mark on her neck.
"I don't know. Let's leave!!" One yelled and she stood and they walked slowly out of the garden while holding their heads.
"What's that?" Ariel asked fearfully looking up at Conrad.
Conrad stared down at the girl on the ground who was standing up slowly before looking at her face.
"Stay back" He said and put her behind him. She clutched onto his shirt staring at the girl with fear in her eyes.
The spider was an abnormal one cos the bite it gave the girl looked like one of a vampire bite.
The girl's eyes were blue with blood bleeding from her neck. Half of her face peeled off and part of a spider's face came out.
"Damn, Conrad, what's that?" She asked looking at him.
"Stop asking questions" He said and kicked the girl on the stomach. She flew back but held herself standing straight. She started walking slowly to them and Conrad sighed.
Logan rushed to her and pulled her with him.
"What are you doing?? Are you going to leave only him with that thing?!!l!" Ariel yelled looking at Conrad.
"No, I'm going to help him. Go to your room and tell no one about this" He said and she sighed before running out of the garden.
Conrad's eyes changed to red and he sped to the girl using his claws to slaughter the lady's neck.
The body fell to the ground shaking profusely as blood gushed out. The spider crawled out of her body and her intestines came out. Her body became empty with liquid out on the ground.
Conrad broke one of his nail and threw it at the spider. It pierced the body and it exploded into pieces.
"Disgusting" Logan mumbled.
Conrad stared at the body with an unreadable look before facing Logan.
They just stared at each other before a snap of the finger was heard and the body, the intestines and the head caught on fire.
A smirk escaped Conrad's lips as they left the garden. The body, intestines and head burnt to ashes.
The spider that bit her before ran through the garden, bigger than before.

Ariel stared at the novel in her hand before sighing. She frowned and looked around the room feeling weird.
She didn't feel the shadow but she felt like she was being watched. She stood up and left the room heading to the school's library.
She went to the shelf and began searching for a book about the creature world.
"Found it" She said and pulled out the book settling down on a chair. She opened the book and began reading through it.
She saw one about a heretic and her attention stopped on it immediately. Her gaze remained on the word 'Heretic'
"Mea voluntas, libro in terras"
(My will, books on the ground)
The moment those words left her mouth, the books in the shelves all fell to the ground making her fall out of her trance.
The librarian left the reception and rushed to the shelves with wide eyes.
"My books" She muttered.
"Who did this?!!!" She yelled but got no response.
Ariel blinked remembering the word she uttered. She furrowed her brows cos she didn't know the meaning of what she said.
She looked around and saw that the people there were staring at the shelves. She stood up and picked the book before going to the reception side.
"Ma'am, I want to borrow the book, I'd return it when am done with it" Ariel said to the librarian. She left where she was standing and came to give her a card.
"Make sure you return it" She said and Ariel nodded before leaving the library.
She stared at the book in her hand with a thought running through her mind.

"The spider is still alive" Logan said.
"I know. How did it get in?" Conrad asked.
"We have to prevent it from getting to more students. The more it kills, the more it increases in size" Logan said.
"It's going to attack soon, it shouldn't dare touch Ariel" Conrad said with an unreadable expression.
"We would protect her" Logan said and Conrad chuckled.
"Did you forget what she is? She can pretty much handle herself but she's not yet ready" Conrad said and sat on his bed.
He stared at the book he took from her room before laying on the bed.
Logan stared at Conrad before sighing laying on his own bed.
4PM ★» GABRIEL'S MANSION »★
Gabriel was in his room working on his laptop as always. He was preparing a speech for a conference happening late in the evening.
A knock on the door was heard and Gabriel looked at the door then at his laptop.
"Who's that?"
"Andrea" She said and he waved at his bodyguard to open the door.
Andrea walked into the room and the body guard left.
"Hi da....."
"Whatever you have to say, say it quickly. As you can see, I'm extremely busy" He cut her off and she frowned.
She sat on the bed a bit close to him before speaking.
"Daddy please can you help my sisters and I to take Ariel out of the school?" She asked and he looked up at her.
"What was her offense?" He asked.
"I just don't like the fact that she's there. She's taking a lot of things away from I and my sisters" She said and he scoffed.
"She's taking two boys away if I may presume and you call it taking a lot of things away?" He asked and she bit her lips before speaking.
"She's the only student that doesn't respect us and she always objects to everything we do, help me bring her out of the school, please daddy" She said and he faced his laptop.
"I can't make a student leave the school without a genuine reason" He said.
"You're the owner of the school, you should be able to do that" She said.
"I know. I can't bring her out because of your silly complaints, handle her yourself" He said and she chuckled.
"Take her out of the school daddy, it won't be nice if I handle it myself dad" She said and he looked up at her.
