The way Lucan looked as he boarded the helicopter, he was holding back too much rage and for the first time in a long time, looked as serious as ever. Kairo soon boarded alongside his fellow rookie, Nova. Lucan looked at them in disgust and changed back to jovial as soon as they looked at him. Then Aria followed, sitting across from Nova and Lucan, across from Kairo. "So? Where's Tessa?" Kairo said as he strapped in, "I'm here..." It was Tessa, and she was clutching at her head, the hangover clearly getting to her. "Rough night, aye?" Lucan said she powered up the console.
"Keep talking and I'll vomit all over your boots." Lucan chuckled as he strapped in his harness, "Don't do that." Lucan then adjusted his body camera before turning it on. He was only one of the four, well, five who had a bodycam. The door slid closed as the helicopter blades whirred to life., "We ready to go?" Tessa asked, and before anyone could respond, "Great." The helicopter started to rise slowly; the helicopter then started to move.
They could see the forest in its entirety from the bird's eye, the training area, the multiple sections of the base, the sea, the beach, all of it. "First mission, I am pumped!" Nova happily proclaimed before Aria stopped them, "We, well, you two are supposed to just hang back and watch, Nova. Can't have my prized rook, dying before the Rookie course." Kairo then asked, "What if we get attacked? What then?" Aria turned her nose up in disrespect, "Who said you can talk to me—"
"Then engage at will, we aren't exactly here to save you, that's not this mission's priority, so defend yourself if you have to," Lucan confirmed as they started to move quickly through the sky. Suddenly, Tessa looked shocked as she turned back, "Guys. Remember that Cargo, it arrived a day early!"
