Chapter 150 - A Chaotic Place

The discoveries Jonathan had made over the past few days were not far from the truth he already knew, thanks to the fact that he was not from this world or reality. That was why he drew closer to The Order, the organization led by his family and the main governments of the entire world.

He realized that if he became more involved with the Church of Healing before figuring out how to erase it, it would be problematic.

This was because, as he knew, the Church of Healing is a large organization spread across the world, and although it is financed by the governments of different countries, it remains secret even within those same countries.

In many places in the world, darkness reigns in silence. An example would be those countries where war has always existed or where evil is present. Darkness manifests in different ways, and even if people are prepared, many times they lose the battle without being able to do anything.

That was why Jonathan doubted whether to bring his revolution into a system that, in part, helps people who need it. And even worse, he still did not know whether the entire church was contaminated by the influence of darkness.

As he went up the elevator to the shopping mall, Jonathan arrived at a clothing store. And if someone comes to shop, it is only for clothes, but Jonathan knew perfectly well that there was another business behind it.

Many of the weapons he acquired came from here, some of them modified and others specially made according to his requests.

All the special ammunition—although he knew how to manufacture it—was made here with perfect quality, and Jonathan had never had problems obtaining it directly from this location.

Upon entering, Jonathan, with his calm expression, nodded in response to the welcoming greeting of one of the employees, but since he had been to this place many times, he headed straight toward the inner area.

At the back was a tailor, who was delicately observing a black suit that he had recently placed on one of the mannequins. This elderly man was named Enrique Gonzales. His family had traveled to this part of the world, and now, as the eldest of the family, he was in charge of this place.

When Enrique saw Jonathan, he smiled modestly and said, "Priest Jonathan, may I help you in any way?"

Jonathan opened the case he was carrying and said, "I have some trophies I want framed, and I will also need a new round of supplies."

Enrique looked at the contents of the case. There were some bone weapons and gold watches that were not simple things to look at, but since these were Jonathan's trophies, he would do whatever Jonathan wanted with them.

"Priest Jonathan, did you just come from a job?"

Jonathan nodded slightly, so he said, "To call me Priest, there must be a reason. Do you still have new things that might interest me?"

Enrique smiled faintly, took the case, and without saying a word walked toward what appeared to be the restrooms. "Priest Jonathan, please, come with me."

Jonathan nodded and followed him without saying a word.

When they passed through the restrooms, at the end Enrique opened a door, and the two of them walked down a narrow hallway until a large room appeared, where there were shelves upon shelves all filled with firearms.

On the other side, there were black suits that were bulletproof against numerous impacts, and another more special one against different types of ammunition.

All of these shelves were set against the walls, and in the middle one could see some red sofas to sit on, which were where special guests were treated with more respect.

This design was very technological, abandoning all the classic appearance that existed outside. Every time Jonathan came here, he compared his messy storage with this place and always proposed to clean it, something that never ended up happening.

"Priest, please, take a seat."

Enrique looked at Jonathan, who was still looking around. "I'll give you a list when I check my inventory."

Jonathan shook his head, and instead of sitting on the sofa, walked toward a shelf full of firearms and picked up an automatic rifle.

Under the reflection of the walls and the white lights, these firearms were simply poison that seduced the desire to buy in men.

Enrique smiled modestly and let Jonathan inspect the new weapons that had arrived at this place.

"If what you're looking for is penetration power, what you have in your hands is an FN FAL, which by its initials means Fusil Automatique Léger. This automatic rifle of Belgian origin has been used by several armed forces. It fires the 7.62 x 51 mm NATO cartridge, known for its power."

"On the other hand, we have the H&K G3 rifle manufactured by Heckler & Koch. The G3 is a German battle rifle that uses the 7.62 x 51 mm NATO cartridge."

Jonathan felt the weight of the weapon and familiarized himself with its size. He placed it back in its spot but set aside the ones he wanted for his own use.

Enrique, to the side, said, "If what you're looking for is a rifle with power, I recommend the FVR-8, a beautiful customized piece capable of firing at high speed. It uses a custom 8 mm caliber cartridge, designed to maximize stopping power and penetration while maintaining an optimal balance between weight and performance."

Jonathan looked at the new weapon, which had a fierce appearance, and smiled faintly.

"That FVR-8 is equipped with a gas-assisted reloading mechanism that significantly reduces the time between shots, allowing rapid successive fire without compromising the weapon's stability."

"You're always looking for ways to make me take more than I planned…" Jonathan murmured as he set the rifle down on the display case.

"Bring me the ammunition I ordered from you as well, load it too, and I want fragmentation grenades," Jonathan said as he picked up high-caliber pistols like the Desert Eagle.

"Alright, Priest."

Jonathan sat down on the sofa while he waited for his things, but after a while, Enrique's voice sounded from behind him. "By the way, Priest Jonathan, do you know the news about Mr. Jardani Jovanovich?"

"Who?" Jonathan was confused, since he had never heard that name.

Enrique approached and smiled. "John Wick!"

Jonathan's eyebrows rose. He recognized that name because he knew exactly who he was talking about.

"They're paying a large sum for his head," Enrique said with a mysterious smile.

Jonathan sighed and said without thinking, "That's none of my business…"

He already had enough problems now with alternate dimensions to worry about less important matters.

"Everyone knows what your family is dedicated to and the close relationship they have with the High Table. You might even get involved in that battle that is unfolding."

"It's still none of my business…"

Jonathan, who was somewhat confused, stood up, paid the bill, and asked for the rest of the items to be sent to his house.
