Jonathan did not take very seriously the problems that Enid had mentioned. This was one of his best attitudes; he wouldn't go crazy eliminating dark entities since he felt no guilt or debt.
People had to take care of their own problems for a few days, that was truly the meaning of living life. Many of those who make mistakes again and again expect that someone else will always solve their problems, when that someone else might never come.
The hunters, exorcists, and any other unit in charge of eliminating dark entities would arrive later to prevent other families from being affected.
Nothing was instant; they had no tools to determine when and how dark entities would appear.
"We are surrounded by idiots, everything can go to shit after a somewhat violent summoning." Jonathan could be sure these problems would not affect him.
He had to step away in order not to lose focus. For now, he would only assign a duo of agents from the Order to monitor those kids who were about to summon that dark entity.
"Zz… This call is being recorded, please state the threat level and security code."
Jonathan answered directly: "Regent of the Order, security code 96Y - X77 - H12, investigation mission in a case possibly potential to class four disaster."
"Zz… Please state the case."
"Dark entity, corporeal class, summoning of a possible dark being, I need verification of the case." Jonathan narrated all the details so they would be taken into account.
When he finished sending the report, he walked as usual through the academy.
"He's looking at me, I think he's going to kill me." Thought a werewolf, who glanced sideways at Jonathan's calm demeanor, waiting for him to leave.
But these worries ended as soon as Jonathan stopped paying attention to the potential students who could be good material for his new team.
Wednesday calmly waited for another lead to investigate the murder cases on her own. She was intrigued, and since it was the only interesting thing besides the hunters, she was focused on solving that case.
Once he made a list of candidates who could be perfect subjects for his operations, Jonathan stopped paying attention.
He had a case to solve, and too much time had already passed to think about what he should do with Tyler and his condition.
"Are we done with the work here? I've seen few people of color around here, I think the principal must be racist." Father Doug walked beside Jonathan, sharing his thoughts.
Jonathan looked at him for a second and asked: "You don't like this place?"
"Yes, but I think this place belongs to whites." Father Doug pulled out a huge cigar when he mentioned what bothered him.
"The mayor, didn't you see him a day ago?"
"Yes, but that's different."
