Alex walked beside his father, and eventually they entered a nearby forested area.
KRAK! THOOM! WHUD! CRUNCH!
The atmosphere here in this region of the forest was usually still and really calm, but today in particular, there was a loud commotion. The arrival of three Agressors.
Three Agressors had descended from the otherworld to this forest. One of them had eventually found it's way in the village next to the forest, and was eventually slain by Alex's father. It bore the appearance of a reptilian creature with blue scales and orange fins and crests.
It wasn't really that strong. However, the two that remained in the forest, the source of this commotion, engaged in a fierce duel, were plenty strong. One was an Insectoid, while the other was a Phantom.
They had probably got into an argument, and were now engaged in a fierce duel. And now the Azure Serpent Clan was on it's way to subdue these monsters. Alex's father had called on some members of their clan for back-up lest something bad should happen.
Soon, Alex and his father reached the source of the noise.
Two figures were clashing back and forth.
THOOM! THOOM! THOOM!
One was clad in a jet black exoskeleton that could be mistaken for an armor. The other one was almost human like in appearance if not for the dangerous glint in it's shiny purple eyes and the bloodlust that had long since taken control of the phantom.
The Phantom had mangled and broken flesh all over it's body, it was slowly healing, but the very next second, the Insectar delivered a new blow to it, It's exoskeleton like armor breaking past all defenses and generating tiny shockwaves upon impact.
As far as one could see, the beetle like Insectar had the upper-hand in this battle.
While, the Phantom had also delivered some lasting damage to the exoskeleton of the Inesectoid, it was all in all in a preety good shape.
Both of these Agressors were really unusual, not all members of their respective species were as powerful as the two.
One glance at this batle and anyone could tell that both of them, were special.
Alex and his father were currently at a good distance, hiding behind some bushes and trees, in the cover of the forest. They awaited the arrival of reinforcements.
Alex let out an inwardly sigh in his mind, 'These two are quite strong. If I were to use all of my cards then I'd definitely beat both of them, but I can't afford to show my abilities here. I've spent many years trying to not make a name too big for myself, it's not time yet.'
The armored fists of the two Agressors collided with a bone-deep thud, like boulders clashing against eachother, rebounding again and again.
The phantom suddenly sprang back up, "I'm going to finish you now!"
Just then, a sword made purely out of magicules materialised in the hands of the phantom. The Phantom then teleported infront of the Insectar—The Insectar did not move and instead stared at the Phantom with a deadspan expression.
The Phantom suddenly faltered and the Insectar seized the opportunity, landing a blow directly to the Phantom's chest.
CRUNCH! SPLORTCH!
The Insectar brutally pierced the Phantom's armor. Piercing through the skin, breaking through the bones and tearing the flesh and organs inside. All life and madness that burnt previously in the eyes of the Phantom suddenly seemed to extinguish.
The Insectar retrieved it's hand back from the Phantom's chest, whose body then fell to the ground lifelessly with a thud.
Suddenly, a deathly silence permeated the region, not even the wind dared to make any noise.
The Insectar turned to look in a particular direction, it's expression suddenly changed, then it said in it's strange Insectoid voice:
"I know you're there, humans. It will be better for every single one of you to come out."
Soon, a total of seven humans surrounded the Insectoid from all directions. Two from the south, two from the west, one from the north and then again, two from the east. Four of them were all young adults, while the other three young teenagers. But, there was one thing common between all these, their strange azure eyes.
All of them were clad in silver armor and white robes.
A hint of amusement appeared in the eyes of the Insectar:
"It seems you're all from the infamous Azure Serpent Clan. Oh! How have I met the descendants of The Great Azure Serpent. Well, he was a Saint that eradicated evil from this world, he slayed all kinds of evil—Demons, Agressors and whatnot in his time. Am I right?"
Everyone remained silent, but then, a young man with the most formidable presence among them all, spoke:
"Make no mistake, Insectar. You might be strong—no, I'd leave that part. What do you want?"
The Insectar turned to look at the young man, the young man's expression darkened as he grimaced and looked elsewhere.
The Insectar chuckled and then spoke:
"You can atleast resist my [Overwhelm] to a degree."
"So, where do I start? What do I want? Well, you see, I'm not an actual Insectar. I hail from a different world, a world that is like this one, but really, way crueler than this one.
My sole goal in this place is to find people like me. One's who've come from different worlds, I wish to make all of them come under one banner, then close the gap that has appeared in the barrier separating my original world and this. But wait? Why am I telling all of this to a bunch of dead people?"
Unbeknownst to the otherworlder-Insectar, a strange expression appeared on Ken's face as he continued to hear the next words of the Insectoid's speech.
'So, I'm not the only one? I had once considered such possibility and asked [Sentinent Truth] about it. It was many years ago, though—and [Sentinent Truth] also told me that there were none at that time, so I discarded that possibility and forgot about it. But, this makes things more complicated. What should I do?'
All of the Azure Clan adults exchanged glances and nodded after hearing the Insectar's final words.
Then, all four of the young adults—three male and one female, lunged at the Insectar who immediately disappeared from their line of sight and appeared behind one of the young teenagers.
It was a girl with blond hair, the Insectar grabbed her by her hair and immediately slammed her to the ground, everyone froze, but then, the young man with the most formidable presence immediately recovered from the shock and unleashed an attack at the Insectar—"[Melt Strike!]"
A beam of light shot up from the young man's sword as he swung it at the Insectar—travelling at immense speed.
However, the Insectar simply shrugged of the attack as a red aura surrounded him.
"Thanks for more fuel." The Insectar spoke as it appeared between the older members of the Azure Serpent Clan and attacked them one by one—landing a straight jab to the woman's face and sending her flying, slamming his knees into the head of two of the males and grabbing the last one by the head and slamming him straight into the ground.
All of it happened so fast and chaotically in a mess that no one could react to anything. The Insectar proved to be a step above the current generation of the Azure Serpent Clan and overwhelmed them by pure physical might.
Just then, though, a strange thing happened. A strange beam of blue light landed directly on the exoskeletic-armor of the Insectar and pierced through it like butter. The Insectar barely avoided the full brunt of the attack, thanks to his fast reaction—albeit, he lost a limb.
The Insectar stopped right in his tracks as a sea of information suddenly flooded his mind. The Insectar shifted it's posture, a hint of recognition on his face.
Suddenly, though, a serpentine azure odachi appeared somewhere behind his neck and moved past—the Insectar's eyes widened as he turned back, he searched here and there for something, "You cheat! Betrayer!"—Before it's head slid off of his neck and fell down, with a thud. Then, the Insectar disintegrated into a rain of blue particles.
Soon, all members of the Azure Serpent Clan returned back to the clearing and made their way back to Alex's home.
None of them was mortally wounded, but the girl with blond hair—one of Alex's cousins was currently unconscious.
She had suddenly been attacked by that Insectar, she had her guard down for the moment, hell, even if she did not, the result would've been the same.
Ken or Alex pondered about that for a while, before thinking back to his actions—'I was quite surprised, a bit happy, too, that a person from my world or one similar to those worlds had appeared. But he had to appear in just the worst time.
I thought whether I should take action or not, but then I asked [Sentinent Truth] how many otherworlders are currently present here. Well, I'm quite surprised. I'd definitely get more opportunities to meet them if they don't tragically meet an end, I hope they'll be as smart as this guy. Now that I've gained his memories, I'm really surprised and grateful that I caught him off guard thanks to flooding his brain with my own world's memories. Sigh. That was quite a gamble.'
Alex then turned to look at the other members of the Azure Serpent Clan.
They were all currently riding on four magic beasts including him and his father, the magic beasts were lion-like with curved horns, black skin, white hair and a pair of golden irises summoned by Alex's aunt, Mary.
'She is able to use Summoning magic, but she is not that proficient in it and it also requires quite a high amount of magicules.
'I can also use this, but as a skill instead. I got it from using [Analysis] and [Skill Creation.] It is very risky to use [Skill Creation,] But I somehow make it up due to my extremely strong soul and will. Any other person will just die trying to create a skill of their own.'
Riding on the magic beasts, the Azure Serpent Clan's members made their way towards Alex's home. They had just made their way out of the forest.
The sun was currently slowly setting, basking the whole world in an orange glow. By the time they were to reach Alex's home, it would be night by then.
All of Alex's relatives had tired expressions on their faces, because all of them had travelled quite far to reach the place where the two Agressors had duelt.
Ofcourse, all of them were strong. So, it wasn't really the physical exhaustion that made them look tired, but the mental one.
They had travelled so far to subdue some Agressors, but instead, the Agressor revealed to be an extremely formidable foe. They were grateful that they had been saved, and that that monster of an insectoid had perished. But, they themselves were not the ones who dealt with that foe, it was... it was a child.
Alex had told them that a sudden power had taken control of his body, he saw memories flashing before his eyes, memories of the Azure Serpent—his great-great-great-grandfather. And, they believed it. They had believed the story that he had made up on a fly.
Alex glanced infront of them. There, a big crowd of villagers had gathered, all of them looked at the warriors who rode on the magic beasts and one of them, an old man, asked, as they made their way back home.
"Hey! Jin. How did it go?"
Alex's father, Jin, looked at the villagers and then the old man and put on a genuine smile—not a fake one, and spoke:
"Oh! It went well, Sir Ohan! It was Alexander who subdued it!"
"I see. Alex is truly his father's, grandfather's, great grandfather's, great-great-grandfather's and great-great-great grandfather's son! Oh, forgive my insolence, I was just joking.
But, it? Weren't there supposed to be two of them?" Old man Ohan asked the question that came into the mind of all the others listening, like the first time.
Jin glanced back at the old man as people made space for them and the magic beast he and his son rode on made it's way past the old man, and spoke:
"Actually, the two of them must have had some sort of argument, and when we reached there, they were already fighting. At the end, one of them killed the other."
"I see." Ohan remarked.
Then, they continued their journey silently, without talking to anyone till the next village, where the same happened, and it repeated till they reached their own village.
They were really close to their destination.

I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter too. Do ask me in the comments if there are any questions. I don't think I'll be able to update as frequently.
/2\
Btw, Ken has acquired many skills in the time period from his birth to the current one, but he has discarded the ones that aren't too useful. He could use the method of desire for a limited amount of time.
/3\
Also, he will have a lot more unique skills and all as he travelled from a world that is really really far from the cardinal world, compared to normal otherworlders in Tensura. So he had an even bigger concentration of magicules at birth.
/4\
When he was born, the consequences of such magicule concentration, appearing in such a short span of time would've obliterated the village—but, it could not because of a reason.
/5/
Also, do you have a question about the last ch or the last paragraph in it?
/6\
Should Ken have a skill that lets him take a glimpse at all the skills in the world and lets him take one or something?
