Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Learning

A few days had passed by now…

Ever since I put that collar on i had been able to roam freely around within the Jedi Temple that serves as sanctuary and a prison for the time being.

The collar isn't bad, I did mentally think of myself wanting to kill the Jedi as a test to see if it would trigger.

Oh it did, it seems to read certain neural signals to anticipate my actions. I tried Testing it a lot, and I was able to discover it wasn't all too restrictive which is nice.

I can't transform into anything other than my current form since the collar will activate, but I can make my wings, claws and other minor body adjustments where needed.

I had been visiting the Grand Archives which was one level above the guest rooms, where I was given a room to stay in.

The collar came with a translator which is neat too.

With that i was able to ask Jocasta Nu, the librarian of the Grand Archives, about learning the languages of the Galaxy and about various topics of interest.

I discovered that I was a Hybrid of a number of cool fusions.

Trandoshan for their resilience and regeneration to regrow any limb. A Trandoshan Jedi Master fell feom orbit aboard a falling space station. He survived and regenerated from it but the regeneration made him lose his sense of reason as the damage was extensive.

Cerean for their two brains and double hearts, this had allowed me to learn things from the library at a faster pace.

Clawdite for their transformation capabilities.

Vornskr for their ability to hunt and track using the Force as an evolutionary trait.

Durasteel metal infusion into my bones and scales for extra durability.

Krayt Dragon dna for their basic dna and body structure that made my form Dragon-like.

Then there was the Blue Shadow Virus that is one of my multiple breath attack abilities. And I can produce both an airborne and liquid form of it. I knew it naturally after evaluating a scan of my body, though I was forbidden access about researching the topic, I knew I had that ability to use it.

Especially since the collar was MOST severe when I even thought of using the Blue Shadow Virus breath attack I suspected myself to have which only confirmed it.

There was multiple other alien races and creatures i had, but they just added to reinforce my biological traits.

Or added more to them like the Ice, Lighting, Fire, Sound breathing attacks. Heh, all I'm missing is Earth and I'm basically Avatar Aang at this point.

I also discovered what year it is, it is the second year of the Clone Wars, and currently the Siege of Ryloth had just happened.

How do I know this?

Well…

"Hey Daud, how much have you learned now?" A young Togrutan female around my age called out to me as she tapped my shoulder.

I turned around from the screen i was facing to look at her, Ahsoka Tano.

"I learned…nore now."

Ahsoka giggled and I was confused, i said it correctly this time didn't I?

"Make your chin raise slightly and move it forwards when your saying it the first time. It'll help you know then you can say it normally. You said it with a 'n' not a 'm' silly."

*sigh*

"Don't you sigh with me! You're going to learn 20 words before the day is up."

I groaned at the frustration this gives.

When Ahsoka and Anakin returned after their assignment with dealing the blockade of Ryloth, they had returned to the Jedi Temple, while Mace Windu and Obi-Wan dealt with the surface campaign.

When the duo returned, Ahsoka was quick to speak with me which surprised me since I had attacked them, albeit not of my free will, while in Dragon form.

It seems that Anakin didn't entirely trust me and assumed I could be brainwashed by a Seperatist later down the line and go all 'Order 66' style on them.

So Ahsoka and Obi-Wan came up with the collar idea, while Obi-Wan wanted to take me under his wing as an apprentice of sorts?

I had very low Force Sensitivity, but it was still there, albeit weak. But my hybrid body more than makes up for it.

Ahsoka had given me the name 'Dau' which translates into the word 'Mighty' in Togruti, her race's native language.

However, I changed it slightly and made it 'Daud'. 'Dau' sounded weird, but 'Daud' was an actual name.

It was the name of the 'Knife of Dunwall' the assassin that killed the Empress in the Dishonored video game.

It's quite ironic since we both share similar aspects.

I was made by the Separitists to be a weapon to slaughter and kill. Yet here I am on the opposite side and the Jedi didn't hold my background against me.

Daud was an assassin that possessed the Outsider's mark granting him powers and abilities. He was hired by the Empresses corrupt government to kill her which turned everything on its head. He later redeemed himself when he stopped Delilah from possessing Emily, was forgiven and his life spared by Corvo, and later he would help Billie Lurk in finding the Sacrificial Dagger abd gave up his own soul's existence to whisper the Outsider's name into his ear which only the dead know and can speak, thereby destroying his own soul but also freeing the Outsider without the need to kill him.
