Chapter 27 - Threads of Revenge and Destiny

Chapter Twenty-Seven: Threads of Revenge and Destiny

A stunned silence swept through the shop. Everyone froze in place as if the very air had held its breath. The young man's words struck like a poisoned arrow, aimed squarely at Su Ling Tian.

"Raped… his sister?!"

Murmurs rippled among the onlookers; their eyes widened in shock and disbelief. But what puzzled everyone even more was Su Ling Tian's reaction.

There was no trace of panic or remorse on his face; on the contrary, a faint frown appeared as if he were recalling something distant. After a moment of silence that felt like an eternity, a calm smile curled his lips — but his eyes were cold as ice.

In a low voice, as if testing the truth, he spoke a single name:

Yi Fang… is that true?

Yi Fang clenched his fists hard; his eyes blazed with fury and vengeance. "Don't you dare play innocent! You humiliated my sister! You trampled her honor! I swear I will tear you limb from limb!"

Before he could finish, the unexpected happened…

Su Ling Tian vanished.

In the blink of an eye, a cold wind swept across Yi Fang's face, and Su Ling Tian stood suddenly right before him — a lethal surprise.

Su Ling Tian spoke with deadly chill: "Do you really think someone like me… needs to justify himself?

Then, with a casual lift of his hand…

Blood sprayed into the air as Yi Fang collapsed to the ground, his body convulsing in pain. He lived, but barely.

Su Ling Tian advanced, stood over him with a look of contempt, and then raised his foot and stomped hard on his chest, drawing from Yi Fang a scream that was a mixture of agony and terror.

Su Ling Tian spoke coldly, his voice devoid of even a trace of mercy.

"Is that all you've got? You were talking so much a moment ago… yet now you look like a dying rat.

The air itself seemed to tremble around him.

A suffocating silence filled the store as everyone watched with trembling eyes.

Su Ling Tian's strength was overwhelming — he hadn't given Yi Fang a single chance from the very start.

But suddenly…something changed.

As Yi Fang gasped for breath, writhing in pain,a swirl of black light erupted beneath his body, pulling him down with terrifying speed!

Su Ling Tian's eyes widened — genuine shock flickered across his face.

Spatial teleportation?!

It was an ancient and forbidden technique, capable of sending the user to a completely random place in the world —a secret thought to have vanished from existence centuries ago.

Before being swallowed completely by the vortex, Yi Fang lifted his head with great effort, his eyes blazing with hatred and madness as he shouted, his voice echoing through the hall:I'll never forget this! I'll come back for you… Su Ling Tian!!

And in the next instant—he was gone.

A heavy silence hung in the air.

Then Su Ling Tian raised his hand indifferently and spoke in a voice colder than ice:Track him. Don't let him escape.

The subordinates of the Su Family moved at once, searching every street and every shadow with lightning speed.

But hours later… not a single trace was found.

Yi Fang had vanished completely—as if he'd been erased from this world.

But what no one knew… was that the random spatial teleportation hadn't thrown Yi Fang into any ordinary place — it had cast him directly into the Ancestral Grounds of the Xiao Family!

After being transported there, Yi Fang found himself in an ancient forest pulsing with primal energy. He was still wounded, but his unyielding will pushed him forward. He didn't know where he was heading, yet one thing was certain: he had to survive.

It wasn't long before fate led him to a fateful encounter — Xiao Nan.

At first, Xiao Nan was wary and cautious. But soon she noticed something in this young man — despite his ragged appearance, there was a spark in his eyes, a fierce refusal to surrender that she had rarely seen before.

Folding her arms, she asked with a slightly curious tone, You look lost. How did you end up here?

Yi Fang let out a bitter chuckle. I don't really know myself… but it seems fate has decided to bring us together here.

After that, words flowed effortlessly between them. Unexpectedly,Xiao Nan found herself at ease speaking with him; he was sincere — not pretending to be strong, not hiding behind arrogance like so many others. He was real.

As days passed, the two of them faced countless trials together within the Ancestral Grounds. They fought side by side, confronted danger after danger, and shared moments that would never fade from memory.

One night, as they sat by the campfire, Xiao Nan whispered softly — something she had never said to anyone before: I never thought I'd meet someone like you here…

Yi Fang smiled gently. And I never thought I'd find someone willing to help me… but I'm grateful for it.

Deep within her heart, Xiao Nan began to see Yi Fang differently. He was no longer just a lost wanderer she'd stumbled upon — he had become something more: a companion, a source of strength… perhaps even a new fate she was beginning to embrace.

And slowly, tenderly, her destiny began to drift — away from Su Ling Tian, and toward Yi Fang, whom she now saw as a true child of fate.

After a year of trials and adventures within the Ancestral Grounds, the two finally arrived at the Temple of the Xiao Ancestors.

The temple was a vast, ancient structure glowing with a sacred light, its walls covered in mysterious carvings that radiated an aura of immense power. As Xiao Nan drew near the gate, she laid her hand upon it gently…

Woosh!

The massive stone gate trembled and opened on its own, as if answering the pulse of an age-old bloodline.

Yi Fang stood beside her, his gaze a mixture of astonishment and respect — not wholly surprised, for after all, this was her ancestral ground.

Xiao Nan stepped inside holding Yi Fang's hand, her eyes shining with equal parts excitement and reverence. She spoke calmly and with quiet dignity, "Very well, Yi Fang — this is my ancestors' temple. You may take whatever you need here, but I must go forward alone… Tell my father that something awaits me in the depths of the temple, and you will not be able to proceed because you are not of my family.

Yi Fang hesitated for a moment, then finally nodded, Alright… I'll wait for you here.
