Slowly the sheep girl woke up from her slumber, confusion could be seen in her eyes. "W-where am I? W-who am I?" She mumbled to herself. Turning her gaze up, she saw a cage, then her gaze looked down. She was unbound, yet resided in the cage.
Thinking to herself, she began to consider what she knew. 'One it seems I have amnesia, second I seem to be a prisoner, third I seem to know I am a part of the Twinklehoof clan. That's good, at least I know something at least. Lemme think' Twinklehoof spent her time thinking, even checking if someone would come for her, but saw no one approaching her cage.
Finally Twinklehoof realised something. She closed her eyes allowing the natural energy of the planet harmonise with her, this activated the crest on the back of her hand. The crest held a unique looking lotus, it was pale blue, with purple edges and slight dark color as if it was drawn onto it. Resting on the lotus was a butterfly with dark vibrant colors.
Around the crest was a ring etched with many curved lines, serving as a center to the crest. Knowing what was needed as she activated her nether butterfly seed. It flew out from her chest. It hovered above the crest, before assimilating itself.
The seed dissapeared only to re-appear and latched onto her heart serving as the storage for her power along with it's future growth.
Opening her eyes shw softly declared to herself. "Witch initial stage sucess" a faint smile bloomed due to reaching initial stage as a Witch apprentice. "Hopefully I will be able to reach Witch-Knight allowing me to also fight close range, however for now this is good enough." She mumbled to herself.
Twinklehoof let her perceprion range bloom outward allowing her to sense if anyone was getting close to her. Finding no one again she concluded it won't happen before dawn.
This at least felt like a small mercy on her soul. Using the time visely she dwelled within her psyche creating rudimentary spells, in which she at most could only cast a few before replenishing her seed.
The first spell Twinklehoof sought to make was a basic nether butterfly allowing her to use it to scout the vicinity, second spell that was created was domain establishment by creating multiple lotuses, and nether butterflies as an anchor. This one would not be able to be used properly for a long time. Despite this, she knew it would be needed long term.
Third spell followed similar pattern only this one was a relied on cresting healing butterflies that spread pollen as an active method of healing.
How she was able to create such three spells. Was easy, despite suffering from amnesia all Twinklehoof clan members makes sure whatever they have been taught or learned will always be there to a limit.
Due to this she was able to create two basic spells, and one advanced, everything after this would be lost. A final safeguard, should something happen to them.
After the creation of the three spells she awakened a few innate abilities, these comes from her chosen seed.
As a carrier of the nether butterfly lotus seed she is intrinsically linked to the dead, the alive and the undead. First innate ability allows for the wielder to purify, pacify lingering spirits allowing them to reincarnate.
Second innate ability Nether Sight. It allows for the wielder to briefly pierce the veil and see beyond normal sight, not to be confused by True-sight.
Third innate ability Nether lotus step. Much like Twinklehoof's ability to briefly pierce the veil, the Nether Lotus step allows for her to enter the veil creating a small yet brief flutter of lotuses as an after effect.
Once all of this was done her mind once more resurfaced, and most of the newfound memories of her previous spell-casting dissipated into the ether, never to be seen again.
Twinklehoof felt this deeply as her eyes opened, those memories slipped through her mind, leading her to temporarily be disoriented.
Feeling the need for rest now she closed her eyes, curling onto floor, feeling fortunate that her legs was covered in gray, soft fur, much like her own pale gray skin, that blended seamlessly into her fur.
