Leon and his team took a detour back to the small town.
By now, the townspeople hadn't dispersed.
Old Sheriff Hudson was busy directing his subordinates, taking photos, and collecting evidence.
As for Leon and his team, he had already dispatched some men to rescue them.
Being older, Hudson couldn't drive those high-speed cars himself.
He had to rely on his subordinates.
Unfortunately, they weren't skilled enough.
After chasing for a long time, they couldn't even catch a glimpse of Leon's tail.
Even Hudson felt embarrassed for them.
"Such poor driving skills… were your licenses bought?" he muttered.
Hudson entered Leon's house to investigate, collecting evidence from the fight scene.
He examined bullet holes and casings, matching them to the deceased's handgun.
Clearly, the victim had tried to kill Leon after being caught, resulting in a gunfight and hand-to-hand combat.
Footprints on the sofa indicated that the victim had stepped onto it, attempting to leap behind it — only to be countered by Leon.
Following the direction of the counterattack, Hudson noticed a massive hole in the wall.
He frowned.
"What on earth could have made this? A rocket launcher? Some other weapon? Or… just a kick?"
Hudson measured the distance — at least five meters.
Could someone have kicked a wall that far and broken it? He didn't believe it.
"Perhaps they fought up close, and one of them kicked through the wall?" he muttered, pondering.
It seemed reasonable, but looking at the height and considering his own short legs, Hudson gave up.
"Report: we found the surveillance files," a police officer announced.
"Good! Take me there immediately," Hudson said, eyes lighting up.
This was exactly what he wanted to see.
They entered the surveillance room, stunned by the setup.
Four walls were lined with massive, built-in TVs — custom-made and luxurious.
Every screen displayed a grid of surveillance footage.
In the center of the room sat a desktop control system straight out of movies.
High-end tech that even a five-star building might not match.
"Holy hell… this guy's loaded!" Hudson muttered.
Just the room alone probably cost over a million.
From the outside, the house looked ordinary — beige paint, appeared to be concrete, but it was actually wood.
US law mandated that houses under five stories must be wood, while taller buildings used reinforced concrete — a relic from earthquake regulations to prevent fatalities from collapsing structures.
Most US homes weren't very tall — two or three stories already counted as mansions. Five stories was extravagant.
No one could have guessed Leon was such a tycoon.
Hudson, familiar with the town, was skeptical — what else might be hidden?
He opened the footage, scanning second by second.
Initially, it showed Guo Da sneaking outside the house, searching for the main power switch.
After finding nothing outside, he entered through a window. Footprints confirmed this.
Lights automatically turned on, scaring Guo Da into hiding behind a wall.
Hudson realized it was a fully automated lighting system — something ordinary families couldn't afford.
Next, the footage entered the garage.
Even with prior mental preparation, Hudson couldn't help but gasp.
Over fifty supercars, perfectly lined up.
Each parking spot had a special orange ambient light, enhancing the sense of luxury.
Even seasoned thieves like Guo Da would hesitate to touch these vehicles — not a single dog or thief had attempted it.
Clearly, the place was heavily secured.
Finally, Leon appeared. The fight began.
Hudson's eyes widened as he saw Leon kick Guo Da flying.
Judging by Guo Da's build — around 70 kg Leon had kicked him across the room and punched a hole through the wall.
The sheer force left Hudson and the officers in disbelief.
"Is this even human strength?"
"Feels like he's been injected with rhino genes!"
"Even through the screen, it hurts…"
The police were dumbfounded.
How could a normal human exert such force?
Hudson's instincts told him there were still secrets hidden in Leon's house.
But Leon wasn't seeking trouble — he was more like a force of nature.
Decades of experience told Hudson it was best not to pry.
The less he knew, the safer he was.
Suddenly, brakes screeched outside.
Voices shouted, "They're back!"
Hudson looked up, surprised.
Six luxury cars lined up at the street outside the gates.
Their presence alone dominated the town, becoming the center of attention.
The system had chosen this town specifically — open roads, ideal for high-speed driving.
Unlike a city, where buildings and traffic limit maneuvering.
Seeing Leon and his team step out of their vehicles, Hudson's expression shifted.
"How fast did they return? And they left the enemies behind?"
"Where are the others?" he asked, puzzled.
They looked like professional killers — surely they didn't stop for gas midway.
Where had they gone?
