Moto walked out of the chapel after writing down some notes. As he was walking around doing a stroll, he planned on going on another mission. To get as rich as possible, they've been testing out 3-star missions and with his awakened powers of SPK, it's been easier to do these missions. They even made the company millions of dollars, which gave them so much praise that they just donated the money away. And as Moto checked the billboard him and Marco got employees of the month and as a well-nominated duo, their lives were really great.
As he was walking, Maya ran up next to him. "Hey, have you seen my brother Nate? I haven't seen him in 3 weeks now!" Moto looked confused. "Didn't he say he was going on a mission?"
"No, he never said that; in fact, he said he was taking a break!" Maya said looking worried and confused.
Moto looked around confused but also a little panicked at the idea that Noah might be dead. He looked around and saw Nate hitting on Rheyla and Rheyla just sighing and ignoring him. "Oh, hi Moto. How's it going?" "I'm doing nicely. Also, why are you hitting on her? She's 16 and you're 17?" Nate chuckled while smirking and leaned on one of the legs of Rheyla's desk. "It's not that bad; if I were 18 and she was 16 sure but she'll be 17 in no time." Moto sighed.
"Anyway, have you seen Noah? Is he back from his trip?" Nate looked at Moto confused. "What? I never sent him on a mission; he said he was calling out to take a break." Maya's and Moto's eyes widen. "I think he might be missing," Moto said softly Nate looked around confused. "What do you mean?" He asked. "We haven't seen him in weeks!" She started to burst into tears which made Nate and Moto panic even more.
"D...don't worry! We'll find him!" Nate stuttered, then looked Moto dead in the eye. "You... Marco... find him NOW!" Nate said. Moto nodded and went to find his friend Marco, who was sleeping on a dog bed in his room. Moto woke him up and explained the entire story to him. "Can't we wait?" Moto grabbed Marco's arm and dragged him outside and they ran around the company building looking for it. "Why did Nate make his company 3 floors and hexagon-shaped? We will never find him!" Moto whined. "Wait, you see that?" "No," Moto said. "I literally I wit- I literally don't."
"Yeah, humans don't have a good sense of smell like me. In that place." He pointed at a door. "Isn't that Notokawi's office? We'd be invading his privacy?" "Do you want to see what happened to him... or not?" Marco said, growing impatient. Moto nodded immediately and they broke down the locked door and went into the office. They saw nothing, just how the average office would look but then Marco taps Moto's shoulder. "Hey, look at this." Moto turned around and looked to see a piece of clothing that was a bit bloody.
"What is it? Could a murder have taken place?" Moto asked, crouching down. "I know it's Noah's shirt. He must've gotten attacked. You know that ability I keep flexing about? I'll show you know." He then placed a spot on his hand, which he turned into a fox paw and placed it on the piece of fabric and then a scene played out of glowing purple. It showed Noah being dragged out by two people who have their faces blurred. Moto and Marco followed these images and then they found another clue, which was part of one of the kidnappers' fabrics.
"Alright, they're in Sundown Park. It's a small town that is near a polluted water source but also on a good side, on the tourist side that carries the entire place. It has pink grounds and yellow skies with docile creatures that play with the tourists, but it's a very small tourist spot and considered a hidden gem by some websites." Marco said calmly, Moto looked at him with confusion and shock. "What did you name this ability?"
"The Sunny Day on Sunset Road." Marco said, looking straight forward. Then he grabbed Moto by the hand and they dashed to the area. In the spot they were at, they were at the end of the tourist spot and you can decide to actually go to the town. In the place where the pink and yellow skies Marco was talking about. And on the ground were moving, wriggling worms that looked like DNA and cells holding onto the tourist body parts and snuggling with them. Marco then fell down because so many of them were on him, and then the tourist leader noticed them.
"Oh, you're not part of the tour?" He said, looking at them skeptically, but then started laughing, dropping the tension. "It's free anyway and I notice your buddy has many Squigglers on him, eh?" he said, laughing. "You see, they actually collect samples of you and produce new creatures that have your features! You can buy them at a price of 59.00 Dung!" Moto looked at this man confused. "Dung? I grew up in the slums but I've never heard of Dung currency. This place must be the projects." The tourist guide laughed at this joke. "It's a very low and unknown currency and it's for comparison 0.000001 USD." Moto nodded.
Marco slowly got up, which was a chore because of the tons of Squigglers on him. He squatted down, putting his hands on his knees. Marco noticed this and grabbed him and helped him up and got the Squigglers off of him. After that they asked the tourist guide where to find the town and he showed it to them and it was worse than they thought.
