Something was wrong… that feeling jolted Theo awake and he immediately opened his eyes to see where Kyle was. But he did not see Kyle anywhere when he first opened his eyes.
He quickly moved his eyes around and finally saw Kyle… near the vortex and interacting with it.
His younger self was still asleep but at his panicked notice it woke up as well and looked at what Kyle was doing.
"W-What-! Kyle, what are you doing? Stop it right now."
That was what Theo spoke, but no words came out of his mouth even when he opened it with all his might. He could tell that his younger self was trying to do the same.
However, no matter what they did, Kyle did not hear them. He was forcing the vortex to accept his sacrifice.
"I will… not stay… sitting back…"
Kyle forced the door open with all his might and finally broke free from the bonds that held him back. He forced his way out and his younger self did the same.
