Chapter 82 - Anarchy Church

Missio parked his bike in the black ops HQ's parking lot. Placing his helmet on the handle, he walked away as Krishna trialed him. They walked on the sidewalk until they eventually made it to the front gate. When they passed the gate and got to the front yard, they saw Henry talking with another man.

"Henry!" Krishna called out, approaching.

Henry tilted his head, seeing that the both of them had returned. He looked at the man again and nodded.

"He's here."

The simple-looking man, wearing a dark suit turned around as Missio halted near him with Krishna.

"Hello, lieutenant general. I'm the foreign minister's secretary you called earlier. "The man said, stretching his hand.

Missio nodded and shook his hand.

"Have you got the letters?" Missio asked.

"Yes." The man let go and took out four letters from his pocket. "The minister opened two of them but the rest are sealed."

"Thank you. Your help is well-appreciated." Missio stated as he snatched the letters.

"I'm glad I could help."

The trio left the secretary and entered the lobby. The secretary trailed them with his eyes for a few moments before heading off. Missio, Krishna and Henry headed up to his office by the elevator. Back his office, Mary and Eira were dallying around like little children.

"Oh! You're here!" Eira exclaimed as Missio and company entered.

"Did you get the letters that you talked about?" Mary inquired.

"Yes…" Missio held them up. "This is it."

He walked around them, sitting behind his desk and laid the wax-sealed letters on it. Two had their seal cracked while the others were perfectly sealed with a symbol stamped on them.

"Quite the ancient method to send a letter…" Mary commented.

"I think they used these kinds of seals in the Middle Ages." Eira grabbed one using the tips of her finger.

"Honey, put it down. That's important evidence." Henry took it away and placed it down.

"I know." Eira puffed.

"Check the unsealed ones…" Missio ordered, leaning back.

Mary took one of the unsealed letters and opened it. The wax broke into tiny bits as she took out the paper. She gently placed the envelope back and opened the folded piece of paper. Her gaze swept across the paper only two letters present on it;

[November 2nd]

Her gazed drifted down even more where see saw who had sent the letter in the first place.

[Sincerely – The Anarchy Church.]

Mary frowned and showed it to her mates. As a proud believer of God, she was quite offended by the name of the sender.

"It's looks like they call themselves 'The Anarchy Church.'. Such blasphemy to put anarchy and church in the same sentence." She hissed.

Henry focused on the date that the letter told. He adjusted his glasses and inquired in a calm manner.

"Does anything happen on that day?"

Eira pulled out her phone and searched it. After a few minutes of scrolling, she shook her head and tucked her phone back.

"No…doesn't seem like it."

"Then, what does it mean?"

"Probably the guy's birthday?" Krishna guessed.

"Ha – ha, very funny. Now, shut it." Henry hissed.

He picked up another letter – one that was unsealed. He took a close look a symbol that had been stamped on the wax. It a bit hard to decipher the symbol but at last he saw a 'A' with a circle surrounding it.

'Isn't that the symbol of anarchy? Their true to their name.'

He sighed and put it down. He glanced at Krishna who was unusually quite all this time. The man in question looked zoned out. Henry snapped his fingers at with annoyance.

"Hey, wake up."

Krishna jolted and frowned. "I am awake. Continue with your work, four-eyes."

Herny smirked slightly and went back to his thoughts.

'They're an anarchist group so that explains why they assassinated the minister but they must have a lot of influence and wealth to be able to cover their tracks so well…'

Henry covered his mouth with his hand, contemplating this evidence. Adjusting his glasses, he grabbed one unsealed and sealed letter.

"I'll take these to the cyber bureau and the CSI to find other clues. You guys do your own thing."

With that, he took off to his destination without another word. Missio rocked in his chair, calmly listening to music without worrying about the crime at hand. Eira mind started to overheat as she contemplated on the letters.

'The ministers already dead but the due date that was on the letter is less than four months away…did something happen to trigger an earlier killing or was the plan to kill him already made and the date was referring to something else?'

Eira bit her lip and stopped thinking for a moment. Beside them, Krishan was looking at the girls with a glint of pity in his eyes.

'I feel so bad for them…some of the best detectives in our unit can't even decipher this…well, even I don't what this shit means. It's confusing as hell!'

Mary was dwelling in her own thoughts which were mostly criticizing these fellows for disrespecting the lord.

'I can't accept such blasphemy but what does that date even mean? Did they kill him earlier than planned or did it go just how they wanted it? Or are they referring the something else.'

She rubbed her head with both her hands, unable to comprehend what it meant. Finally, they all gave up.

"Forget this! We need more evidence before we can know what this bullshit means!" Eira exclaimed.

"Yeah, we're gonna need more than a date. Let, the cyber bureau or CSI find more clues before we even start thinking of investigating this." Mary replied, crossing her arms.

"Ha! Seems like the geniuses can't decipher what this means. I also can't but who cares – I'm an idiot!" Krishna mocked.

"You're just roasting yourself! We're still the smart ones!" Eira shouted, pointing at Krishna.

"You don't what this means? November 2nd is a Sunday. Simple as that – Case closed. Their taking a holiday." Krishna widened his arms in a joking manner.

Mary and Eira chuckled as the three of them exited the room, continuing the investigation without delay.
