Missio, Eira and Mary were tip-toeing through the building. Their silent steps slightly echoed in the dark hallway. Their figures were almost invisible as they held their guns. Soon, they stopped at a door. Missio put his ear against the wall, hearing two individuals talking with muffled voices. He nodded at the girls and pointed at the door, raising two of his fingers. He then stuck his fingers together and lifted them up.
Eira and Mary nodded and opened the door. They squeezed through the small opening. The room they entered had white walls with many metal shelves. From their vision, they saw two individuals talking to each other. Eira put a silencer on her rifle and pointed it. A soundless shot fired and hit one of the people. As the man fell to the ground, the other panicked but before he could say a word, he too was shot by Mary.
The girls moved forward, hiding behind a metal shelf filled with boxes. They moved, sticking close to the shelf. Soon, they saw a woman smoking in the corner. Eira raised her gun and shot. The woman fell, greeting the ground as her cigarette dropped. Mary crushed it as the girls moved forward. Eventually, they made it to a conveyor which was moving. Eira spotted a left-over packet and picked it up. It was full of white chunks which had been destroyed.
'Seems like they sell a variety of drugs…not that I'm interested.'
Eira's thought echoed in the walls of her own mind as they continued forward. After a few minutes, they covered the entire room and knocked out several individuals. Mary pulled out her mask, taking a deep breath. The sound of machines and gears turning echoed in the room causing Mary to close her ears.
'These kids probably didn't have enough money to get the new gear, so they resorted to older technology…'
Mary gritted her teeth. She turned towards Eira and whispered.
"What should we do with the drugs?"
Eira pondered for a moment before saying in a neutral tone.
"Let's shut off the laboratory."
Mary recoiled. "And by that you mean?"
"I mean let's destroy this place so much that it doesn't function again."
Mary drew a sharp breath. "…Fine, but how are we going to do it?"
Eira grinned widely and moved towards the power grid.
"Henry, taught me a thing or two."
"Just…don't kill us."
"No promises~" Eira said removing the panel.
She looked around and found some chemical with a danger sign on it. She smiled wickedly and opened the cap, pouring it into the power grid. Suddenly, all the power shut off, and the conveyor stopped functioning. The two girls fled the scene as the room was cast into darkness.

Missio walked through the hallway with soundless steps. He heard an explosion in the distance but ignored it. After a while, he made it to a door that seemed newer than the rest. He narrowed his eyes and turned the doorknob.
'Newer than the rest but old nonetheless…that rhymes.'
A slight smile appeared on his face as he stepped inside the large room. It wasn't different from the hallway he was just in but felt cleaner.
'Classic…the boss gets the fancy stuff while the employees are stuck with the old.'
He went forward, reaching the center. He turned his head, scanning the room but saw nothing.
'Am I in the wrong room or…?'
Right then, a young voice came from his side.
"Hey…who are you?"
Missio froze, his body stiffened. He looked to the side, his heart thumping. Then, he saw a young man with blonde hair, blue eyes who wore an all-grey outfit with a green jacket that made his hair stand out. Missio thought for a moment and frowned.
'He looks the guy Dick described…'
He cautiously gripped his katan and fully turned around, seeing the young man in the darkness, sitting on a chair while holding a rather fancy staff.
"Hey…are you gonna answer my question?" The boy asked again.
"…You're Sun Daishen, aren't you?" Missio replied.
The next second, a strong wind lifted his hair and blew dust up. His eyes widened as Sun seemed to flash before him. He could clearly see his face now. He wore glasses, had white complexion and his body was quite slim.
"How do you know my name? and you didn't answer my question." Sun said centimeters away from Missio's face, smoke coming from his breath.
Missio flinched and backed off, creating distance between him and Sun.
'This guy might be dangerous…'
Before he could unsheathe his katana, he felt being pushed by something. He lowered his head and saw that Sun's staff was poking at his chest. Missio's face turned pale as he lifted his head but…Sun was still at the same place. Only his staff had extended to reach his chest. Missio's jaw dropped as he fell to the ground.
'Is this an…artifact? Is this what the foreign minister meant by saying Sun was special?'
Sun flashed again, swinging his staff down on him as it retracted. Missio gritted his teeth and rolled away. The staff shattered the ground and Missio stood up. Missio unsheathed his katan and positioned himself.
"Ah…you're from the black ops, aren't ya?" Sun placed the staff on his shoulder. "Just because that Dick got caught, you're biting more than you can chew. You should get outta here before I kick yer ass."
"You kids and your weird talk. Didn't your mother teach you manner?" Missio scoffed.
"In fact, she did not, you old man."
"I'm twenty-six and your mother might need to learn how to be a better parent."
"Sure – sure, I totally agree with you." Sun said as he approached Missio.
"Sun Daishen – stand back. You are hereby under arrest under the cause of selling illegal drugs and being in-arms with another criminal."
Sun froze for a moment and lifted his head, observing the roof. Then, a drop of water fell and he stuck his tongue out. The water landed on his tongue and he drank it. Missio didn't let his guard down, keeping his blade. Sun smacked his lips and said in a hoarse voice.
"Ah…it's so salty…I remember having to drink rainwater because I didn't have enough money for actual water. It just doesn't make sense that you must pay for necessity, does it? Why do I have to pay for my survival? Why do I?"
Missio frowned.
'What is he talking about? I mean he is correct but…there's the people who are saving your life or giving you water…They need to gain something from saving your life otherwise it wouldn't matter to them?'
"Humans are innately selfish beings. They won't help another for free." Missio gave his final verdict.
Sun remained silent for a moment before saying in a raspy voice.
"I see. So, you do understand…how did you find this out? How did you discover the true nature of human beings while living a fulfilling life in society?"
Missio lowered his blade. "My brother studied philosophy…he taught me a lot."
