Sebastian was still standing there dumbstruck, frozen like someone had unplugged his entire nervous system. Nothing in this world had ever prepared him for a day like this.
Was this his dream coming to pass or what? He couldn't tell.
He blinked, parted his lips to say something anything but what escaped those tempting lips was a sharp laugh, the kind that burst out of him so suddenly he had to shake his head, clapping his hands once before they landed at his waist.
His rigid frame bent forward a little, eyes fixed on Kairen with a bewilderment so raw it almost looked childlike on him.
"My nu-nu is growing," he mocked, straightening up, his hand lifting with the intention of patting Kairen's head.
But the boy subtly pushed his hand away.
"Rest it, Sebastian," Kairen hissed with a frustrated grunt.
