The Resident Evil world—this task world was so overused it had become cliché. Any infinite-world adventurer worth their salt would at least appear here or encounter the T-virus at some point.
This world could be dangerous, or it could be simple.
As the most frequently appearing infinite-world setting, the easiest missions usually involved saving the hive. Countless newcomers had honed their skills in these hives.
Was it difficult?
The Umbrella Corporation was a massive entity rivaling S.H.I.E.L.D. in this dimension. Later on, it would entirely replace governments, wielding conventional weapons, bioweapons, and even world-destroying "Peace Bombs."
If the mission required taking down Umbrella… that would be insanely hard.
Even Alice—the designated female lead of the Resident Evil films—had been captured countless times. If she didn't have powerful backing, she would have been dissected long ago.
Of course… maybe she had already been dissected, and what remained was a clone of a clone.

If there were any survivors in the city, he needed a high vantage point to spot them.
Besides, running around aimlessly wasn't a plan—he needed to rest somewhere first.
A group of zombies blocked the building entrance. They must have been starving for days; upon seeing prey willingly approach, they howled and lunged, claws out.
In an instant, Li Qingyuan evaluated the route. With this zombie density, rushing through was impossible.
He waved his right hand, sending a cloud of insect-like creatures toward the horde.
Although his suitcase still contained high-powered weapons, he didn't know how long he would stay in this world—better to conserve ammo.
Bang! Bang!
The blocking zombies were blown to pieces. Using the explosion to create a gap, Li Qingyuan leapt through.
