His hands roamed over my body in a rough yet electrifying way, every touch sending conflicting sparks of pain and pleasure through me.
I couldn't catch my breath before he lifted me effortlessly and set me down on his desk, scattering books and papers onto the floor.
"How could you be with Alistair when you're mine?" he growled, pulling away from the kiss just long enough to glare down at me, his eyes burning like wildfire.
I blinked twice, confused and dazed by his nearness and fury.
What did he expect from me?
My lips parted, but his voice thundered again before I could form a word.
"Answer me!" he demanded.
"He's just a friend!" I snapped back, matching his anger with my own. "He's a new friend I just made."
