Subaru felt like he was going to lose his mind.
Subaru: (I got Emilia pregnant. Oh god. What the hell am I going to do? We don't even have a house of our own and I just bought the factory last week.)
Subaru took several deep breaths as he paced.
Subaru: [I've got no choice but to step up my game.]
Subaru: (... to provide for them.)
Subaru sat down at his desk as he began designing.
Subaru; (I gotta come up with something amazing. Pleiades Fashion is on the map now but I gotta make us successful now.)
That's when Kennichi stepped in.
Kenichi: [Subaru. Can we talk?]
Subaru: [Um... sure.]
Subaru put down his pencil.
Kenichi: [Look you're going to be a father, I know you're going to try to step up but I want you to know the rest of us are going to chip in.]
Subaru: [But I...]
Kenichi: [Don't even. Just take it easy until after Valentine's Day. We'll take care of everything until then. After that you can start taking things seriously. For now just... try to take it easy.]
Subaru: [Dad... okay.]

Subaru sat with Emilia.
Emilia: [Subaru...]
Subaru: [Hey I'm fine Emilia.]
Emilia: [But when you heard the news you started having a panic attack.]
Subaru: [I mean I am terrified but... we gotta do our best so I can't let that fear control me.]
Emilia smiled.
Subaru: [Dad's going to be helping out a lot so don't worry. By the time our little Emilia pops out we'll be ready. Well... at least more ready than other people.]
Emilia held out her hand.
Emilia: [It's going to be alright, Subaru.]
Subaru sweated but nodded as he held her hand.

Subaru knocked on a door.
Katsuki: [Go away man.]
Subaru: [Hey come on man. This is important.]
Katsuki opened the door.
Katsuki: [You know what else is important? Telling me you're going to dress up as a woman and then post pictures on the site!]
Subaru: [Hey you're the one with no self control.]
Katsuki: [You fucking...]
Subaru: [Though I guess I'm the same.]
Katsuki: [What?]
Subaru: [I lost. My 4 year streak has come to an end.]
Katsuki tried to hold it in but couldn't as he laughed his ass off.
Katsuki: [Serves you right you bastard!]
Subaru: [Yeah. Yeah but that's not all.]
Katsuki: [Oh really? What else could there...]
Subaru: [Emilia is pregnant.]
Katsuki: [...]
Subaru: [I wanted to tell you.]
Katsuki: [Congratulations man!]
Subaru smiled.
Subaru: [Thanks Katsuki.]
Katsuki: [Hey. That gives me an idea.]
Subaru: [It does?]
Katsuki: [How about designing baby clothes? Heck you could design clothes for your whole family and post them on the company site!]
Subaru's eyes widened.
Subaru: [You're right!]
Katsuki: [Let's get started bro!]
Subaru: [Yeah!]
The two started brainstorming. They fist bumped and then Subaru started drawing the designs and Katsuki added a page on the website as they worked in complete sync.

Subaru walked into the Natsuki household.
Naoko: [You're back, Subaru.]
Subaru: [Yeah. Where is Natsumi?]
Naoko: [She's in her crib. She's still awake though.]
Subaru: [Lets go!]
Subaru went to the room as Naoko followed behind. After a few minutes Subaru came back out, holding Natsumi in a cute dress.
Naoko: [Oh my god!!! So cute!!!]
Naoko was practically bursting with joy.
Subaru: [I want to put the clothes on my site. Can I use Natsumi as the model? I'll make sure to leave some money for her when she grows up.]
Naoko: [Sure.]
Subaru began taking pictures as his site exploded with comments raving about how cute Natsumi was as parents started looking at the site for their babies.
Subaru: [This is perfect! Now for something for mum.]
Naoko: [Eh? For me?]
Subaru handed her some clothes.
Naoko: [Subaru... you... made these for me?]
Subaru: [Yeah try them on mum.]
Naoko felt tears welling up but she wiped them away with a smile.
Naoko: [I might be a while okay? I'm thinking of putting on makeup.]
Subaru: [Okay.]
Naoko walked into her room. Kenichi was asleep as it was his day off. She changed into it as she looked in the mirror.
Naoko: [It's...]
Kenichi: [Beautiful.]
Naoko: [Dear? I'm sorry if I woke you up.]
Kenichi: [No. I'm glad.]
Kenichi had a blush on his face.
Kenichi: [Maybe we should give Subaru and Natsumi a younger sibling?]
Naoko blushed.
Naoko: [Dear...]
Kenichi smiles.
Naoko: [Let's not take it that far dear.]
Kenichi: [Sure. Sure.]

Naoko came out of the room, fixing her hair slightly as Subaru waited outside.
Subaru: [What took you so long Mom? I've been waiting a whole hour. I expected you to come out with full makeup too.]
Naoko: [Um sorry. I... had to help your father with something... time consuming. I didn't have time to put on makeup because of that and not wanting to keep you waiting any longer.]
Naoko: (It's a good thing that I had time left over to get cleaned up or Subaru might have figured it out.)
She was damn lucky Subaru didn't use Cor Leonis while she was in there. If she had taken another 5 minutes he would have and then Subaru would have been traumatised worse than when he suffered through the 10 seconds of despair. This would have been followed up with Subaru attempting to bleach his eyes, dying, returning by death and attempting to bleach his eyes again.
Subaru: [You look great though. If only dad was awake to see it.]
Naoko: [I think so too.]
Naoko: (I think he likes it a bit too much.)
Subaru: [Oh yeah. Speaking of dad. Can you call him over? I have something for him to wear as well. I think it'll look good on him.]
Naoko: (Dear looks better without things on him though...)
She blushed at the thought confusing Subaru but then she shook off the feeling. Subaru in response shook off his confusion.
Naoko: [Your father is very tired. He's sleeping right now.]
Naoko: (Maybe we overdid it a bit...)
Subaru: [Oh... well I'll show it to him later then.]
Subaru: (That's weird. Dad usually wakes up at this time with so much energy that it's overwhelming.)
Subaru: [Can I take some pictures?]
Naoko: [You want me to be the model?]
Subaru: [Yeah. Of course!]
Naoko smiled.
Naoko: [Sure.]
Subaru began taking pictures when he finished and Beatrice walked over.
Beatrice: [What is going on now, I suppose?]
Subaru: [Beako! I have a dress for you!]
Beatrice: [A dress? Betty's cuteness is perfect in Betty's dress, I...]
Subaru pulled out her dress as Beatrice's eyes widened.
Beatrice: (Amazing! It's beautifully, in fact!)
Beatrice: [Well... Betty will try it on since you made it for her, I suppose.]
Beatrice: (I'd regret it if I didn't try it.)
Subaru: (You're so easy to read Beako.)
Beatrice took the dress and went into another room changing into it.
Beatrice: [The Betty you see now is different to any other Betty you've ever seen, in fact!]
Subaru: [You're so adorable Beako!!! I knew it would look great on you!]
Subaru began hugging Beatrice as Emilia walked down the stairs.
Emilia: [What's going on here... oh wow! You look reaaally pretty Naoko-san.]
Naoko smiled.
Naoko: [Thank you Emilia-chan.]
Emilia then saw Beatrice.
Emilia: [It's rare for Beako to change out of her normal clothes. It looks reaaally good though.]
Beatrice: [Betty really does like this dress though. Thank you Subaru.]
Subaru looked surprised.
Subaru: [Beako? You... you're usually a tsundere about these kinds of things.]
Beatrice: [Betty knows what that word means now, I suppose and Betty doesn't like it, in fact.]
Subaru sweat dropped.
Subaru: [I'm going to take some pictures for the company site now. Say cheese!]
Subaru began taking pictures of Beako who smugly made some poses.
Subaru: [Its perfect Beako! Just like that.]
Emilia watched this, smiling as she held her hand to her stomach.
Emilia: (I hope you're kind and energetic too. Just like your father.)

Subaru jumped at him using his leg to lock him into a submission position.

Subaru let go and stood up.
Subaru: [What's wrong dad? You look like you just saw your son wrestle you into submission in the morning.]
Kenichi: (Too damn strong. It's like he's got steel hiding under all that muscle.)
Kenichi sat up.
Kenichi: [So what's got you waking. Up your dear old dad like this?]
Subaru threw him his clothes.
Subaru: [I need my dear old dad to look awesome in these so I can post the pictures on my company website.]
Kenichi smirked.
Kenichi: [Oh yeah? Let's do this then!]
Kenichi got up following Subaru.

Subaru woke up as he saw Emilia next to him. Her baby bump was clearly showing.

Subaru began breathing heavily.

Subaru: [How is your belly so big all of a sudden? It's only been 3 weeks!]
Emilia: [But that's usually how long it takes for elves. Isn't it the same for humans?]

Emilia: [The baby is coming!]

Subaru looked to see the sheets wet from her water breaking and then he began panicking.
Subaru: [We have to get you to the government hospital. They'll know how to help us!]
Emilia: [No time. Subaru. They're coming out!]
Subaru: [Oh crap oh crap.]
He went to get some hot water and a towel.
Emilia: [It hurts Subaru.]
Subaru: [I don't know what to do!]
Emilia: [I feel like I'm dying Subaru!]
Subaru: [Mili I...]
Emilia: [Subaru please make it stop. Help me!]
Subaru began hyperventilating as he held Emilia's hand.
Subaru: (Oh god no. Oh god no.)
Emilia: [Subaru!]
Subaru woke up with a cold sweat as Emilia was next to him, looking very normal.
Subaru: [Mili?]
Emilia: [You looked like you were having a nightmare.]
Subaru: [Mili. How long are elves pregnant before they give birth?]
Emilia: [I read a book Beatrice gave me before... the trip to the Watchtower. About 12 months.]
Subaru: [We have... a whole year?]
Emilia nodded.
Subaru: (A whole year... to get my shit together.)
Subaru laid back down on the bed with a sigh of relief.
Subaru: [We have plenty of time to prepare.]
Subaru relaxed as he felt some of the stress melt away. Then...
Subaru: (That means they'll be born on November... way to give me a way to remember the breaking of my 4-year streak.)
Subaru sighed.

Subaru heard a knock on the door and he opened it to see Taro outside.
Taro: [She's pregnant?]
Subaru: [Um yeah. How did you know?]
Taro: [Kind of obvious with the face you're making. I've been a father myself so I can tell easily.]
Subaru: [That's some bullshit.]
Taro: [I'm also trained by the government.]
Subaru: [That makes more sense.]
Taro: [We'll arrange a room for her to give birth in when the time comes.]
Subaru: [Mili said it should be about 12 months for elves but she's a half-elf so...]
Taro: [It could be different. We'll take that into account and make sure everything is ready within a 9 to 12 month window.]
Subaru: [Thanks.]
Taro: [I'll be next door.]
Taro left when the mailman walked up to Subaru.
Mailman: [Mail for Natsuki Subaru?]
Subaru: [Yep.]
The mailman handed him a letter.
Subaru: [Thanks.]
Mailman: [No worries.]
The mailman smiled and left as Subaru went back inside, closing the door behind him. Emilia walked over.
Emilia: [Who was that Subaru?]
Subaru: [Taro-san and the mailman.]
Emilia: [Taro-san? Was he doing a routine check up?]
Subaru: [Yep. They're going to prepare a room for us for when you give birth.]
Emilia: [That's reaaally nice of them.]
Subaru nodded.
Subaru: [Also I got this mail.]
Subaru opened it and saw that it was an invitation to a Christmas Party and everyone from his year from high school would be there.
Subaru: [This is...]
Subaru: (Should I... even go? Why? To show off that I've got a fashion company and am successful? Not my style.)
Emilia: [What's wrong Subaru?]
Beatrice walked over.
Beatrice: [What is going on, I suppose?]
Subaru: (To show off my cute girlfriend and Beako? That's definitely my style!)
Subaru: [We'll be going to a Christmas Party that I've been invited too.]
Emilia: [A Christmas Party? That sounds great!]
Beatrice: [I agree, I suppose.]
Subaru: [Then it's time to do some planning for Christmas!!!]
