2 Collecting organs
Thanks to Alex, Rodion now knew the basics he needed to know, both about them, Irina and the place where they were, which he discovered was inside his book, as he had said before.
The difference was that somehow someone had completed the book and made several changes, for example, when he asked in the province and municipality of the Moon King where they were, there was static, which was quite strange. Alex said worriedly to his friend who was lost in his thoughts.
"Of course , we will do as you say, but before that, do you know of any place where we can find a wizard?"
"What do you need a wizard for? They are strange and their salaries are very expensive."
"So you know, do you?" Rodion smiled.
"I know someone who knows a wizard, but why do you need one?"
"I need a wizard to cast a preservation spell on certain items."
"And what items are these that deserve a spell to be preserved?"
Alex asked, curiosity evident in his metallic tail, which swung gently.
"Curiosity killed the cat"
"I'm not a cat," Alex grumbled in protest.
"Then come with me, I'll need your help anyway."
Alex followed Rodion inside and they stayed there for about two whole hours before finally leaving the house.
Rodion was wearing a makeshift apron completely stained with fresh blood and in his hands were two knives stained with crimson blood, Alex's face displayed a horrified tension.
"Dear friend, I didn't know you were that kind of person. What are you going to do with that? Don't tell me you're going to sell her parts. She was your only family. How could you convince me to do such a barbaric thing?"
Alex's stomach was still churning as he had thrown up all of his breakfast.
"Relax, she's already dead, I don't think you should impose yourself over something so small."
Rodion said that as he got rid of his work objects, everything would be easier to have the appropriate materials, but he didn't know where he could find a scalpel and the rest of the operating kit , all he could do was improvise with what he had in his kitchen.
"Something small you say, you drained all her blood and even ripped out her heart, how can someone do that and call it something small?"
With that said, the whole process flashed through Alex's mind and he vomited again.
"Are you done? If so, take me to the person who can lead us to the wizard right away. Now that the organs are out of the body, they've deteriorated even faster."
"Are you going to sell it on the black market or something?" Alex wiped the bit of vomit from his face and asked with a frown, in response Rodion looked at him as if he was looking at an idiot.
"Why would I do something so stupid as sell such precious, I'm going to use it on myself"
"Are you going to eat?" Alex swallowed hard, convinced that his friend hadn't lost his memory, but had completely lost his sanity, and now he was wondering why he was helping him with something macabre like removing someone's organs.
It wasn't a stranger, it was someone as close as a kind of sister to his best friend, he wasn't very religious but that was too much.
"Stop thinking nonsense, how could you think of such a thing? I'm not a cannibal, you know?"
Some time later, the two were in the forest in front of a stone altar that they had improvised. Rodion took a torch and prepared to throw it at the corpse that lay on the altar.
"Wait"
Alex stopped his friend from setting fire
"What's wrong? We don't have much time left before the organs start to fail," Rodion said impatiently.
"Aren't you going to pray for your sister?" Ale looked at his friend as if he were a monster.
"She is not my sister"
"I know, but it's like you've cared for each other your whole life, and if in the future your memories come back you'll regret not saying goodbye to her properly."
"I don't think I'll ever regret this, anyway praying doesn't do any good."
Not wanting to waste any more time, Rodion threw the torch he was holding and the corpse began to burn.
"Why do you say that? Don't tell me you don't believe in the goddess now."
"Don't believe in the goddess? Nonsense, I must be the person who believes the most in Rebecca, I mean: in the goddess Rebecca "
Before the conversation dragged on any longer, Rodion decided to end himself to start a new topic.
"Who do you say you know the wizard?"
Hearing his friend's question, Alex gave a smile that only a man would understand.
"Do you remember the bunny girl you slept with and we got beaten up for it?"
Rodion looked at his friend as if he were a fool. He had supposedly lost his memory, so why would he remember anyone? Apparently, Alex had realized this too. He scratched his head in embarrassment.
"Sorry, for a moment I forgot that you lost your memory, anyway she is the one who knows a magician who can help you"
Rodion starts walking when Alex stops him.
"Where are you going?"
"Let's go to her"
Rodion said to which Alex looked at the sun in the sky and pointed to Irina's body that had not completely burned
"We have to wait for the ashes and most likely she is with her boyfriend now, if we go there we will be beaten again"
"Why would we be beaten? We are two and he is only one."
Now it was Alex who was looking at his friend like he was a fool.
"You want to go head to head with an adult troll with just two? You're crazy! Well, you've lost your memories, you have no idea how much of a beating we took last time."
Two hours later the two headed to an inn in the city center, to Rodion's disappointment , the rabbit men had been changed.
In your book, the bunny girls were human beings with certain bunny characteristics, such as fluffy tails and long ears.
Before Rodion was something completely different, she was nothing more than a humanoid rabbit covered in white fur and if it weren't for the pair of furry breasts he wouldn't have been able to tell the girl's gender.
"Alex, are you sure I slept with her?"
Rodion asked with a wrinkled brow in response Alex smiled knowingly and said
"You didn't just sleep with her, you mated all night."
Alex not only said the words but also gestured so that his friend would have no doubt about what he had done.
