Itachi and his squad soon reached the Uchiha compound, and they were immediately stunned by the bustling scene.

"Young lord Itachi, the compound seems to be surrounded by a sealing formation, and although we can go inside, none who have entered have returned. The Anbu believe is an attack on the clan members inside."Hearing this, Itachi flickered towards the opening of the Uchiha compound, "I'm going inside!" Itachi's sharingan flared as he walked past the Anbu guards. Their attempts to stop him were halted by the Anbu captain on the scene.
Itachi entered the dome and immediately felt a separation of chakra as he was sucked in, but felt it again as he reappeared inside the Uchiha compound.
"Boom." "Baang!"His eyes and ears were drowned by the heavy sound of collision as his gaze fell to on top of the houses, blanketing the fight. He flickered upon recognizing Yashiro. Feeling a sudden and familiar presence, Yashiro turned to Itachi, "Young lord, you shouldn't have come inside." Likewise, those inside had grasped the nature of the barrier and were working on dismantling it like those outside. Seeing Itachi's gaze, "Two individuals have infiltrated and are waging war on the clan. The masked enemy, we think, is the one Shisui had once encountered, and the other appeared mid-battle, and your father is holding them back, but he is gradually losing ground."The ringing of Yashiro's words silenced by the booming explosions, Itachi turned to the battle ahead, his gaze falling on his father.
Fugaku's eyes were bleeding a massive yellow Susanoo covering his figure. The Susanoo had on samurai armour with a lance that was repeatedly thrusting at Pain and Obito who were moving around constantly attacking from blind spots.
"Evacuate everyone to the furthest reaches of the barrier. Everything that happens here stays in the barrier. Not a word is to be said to the village." Hearing Itachi's command, Yashiro guessed what he intended to do, but his words were caught in his mouth as Itachi's sharingan changed into the mangekyo sharingan. Itachi flickered his eyes bleeding as black flames were thrust into the battle, entangling themselves with the blue flames, causing a roaring heat that was melting the surrounding debris.
Obito and Pain retreated as they felt the surprise attack. Fugaku also showed a hint of surprise and reluctance as he saw Itachi. "I didn't think you would make it." Fugaku chuckled as Itachi reached him, seeing his father's sorry and bleeding figure. Itachi's heart ached."I came as soon as I could." Alongside his father, his Susanoo also came to life, its crimson light mingling with the yellow.'Another one.' Obito let out a silent sigh, "It seems like it's time to withdraw." Pain said, throwing a disdainful glare at Obito. For someone who claimed to be Madara Uchiha, he couldn't even evaluate his enemies, but perhaps it made sense if he was a victim of his past bravado.
"You are sure you don't want to silence them?" Obito asked the battle having fallen tense both sides were ready. "We can't kill them before the barrier is broken, even if the Hokage faction were willing to let the Uchiha clan die, the other clans won't be willing, so let's go. "Pain answered, "Besides looking at their eyes, I know for certain that information about me won't leak, but I don't know about you?"Obito grunted, his mangekyo beneath the mask flaring as both disappeared from the Uchiha compound. Across from them, Fugaku felt a sigh of relief, but he flickered, surprising Itachi, who followed as they came to a white arm.Itachi looked on, puzzled as he saw his father seal the white arm, "This arm must contain the first Hokage's cells." He mumbled; it was a hypothesis on his part, but Obito's weak wood style kekkei genkai caused him to put his guard up throughout the fight. It was a sharp contrast to the myth of the first hokage's wood style.
Throughout the fight, Pain had more impact with his rinnegan, outclassing his mangekyo sharingan, but he was certain the other masked man was an Uchiha. Given the gleaming sharing in the open hole of the mask, his strange spatial jutsu which,was probably a mangekyo sharingan ability like his Yakinitsu and Itachi's Tsukuyomi.
