"So, you believe that an assassin was sent by the House of Undying to kill you and steal your dragons?", I slept peacefully as Xaro continued to ask Mother questions, deciding to go back to my peaceful dream of chasing Pyat through a burning field as Mother responded.
"I do not believe. I know they sent an assassin, especially since that Pyat fellow was nearly killed by Drogon. He and his fellow 'warlocks' have an obsession with my children. If not for Drogon's quick reaction, they would be locked in cages underneath the House of Undying while my corpse was thrown out to rot outside the walls of Qarth."
"And how did Drogon know that there was an assassin outside your room? If they had hired an assassin, it would have been a skilled one."
"They were loud. I saw them. I killed them. Simple as that", I responded with a low growl as I opened one eye to glare at Xaro, to which the man gave a nervous chuckle as Mother giggled.
"His heightened senses was the thing that alerted him to the attack. Since he's the most alert of my children, I have nothing to fear."
"A-Ah, I see. Then I must say that dragons are far more versatile than the vicious beasts I thought them to be."
"A dragon is very intelligent, Xaro. They are beasts of wisdom and power. They do not listen nor do they obey the commands of one like a slave. To anger a dragon is to bring its wrath down upon not only yourself but also your lineage."
"In other words, mess with me and I'll burn down everything you adore", I was supposed to be horrified at the fact that I could think like that without worries, but then I remembered how horrible this world is and the horrified feeling just goes away.
"I shall take your warning to heart. Now, I should be heading back to convene with the Thirteen to decide on the next course of action."
"Thank you for coming despite the abrupt invitation", Mother thanked the man with a smile and I had to roll my eyes from where I was seated on her lap as I saw him preen and nod.
"Anything to keep you comfortable, Khaleesi."
"…He is most definitely trying to have me as his wife, isn't he?", She whispered to me seconds after he exited and giggled as I simply looked up with a stare.
"Yes, you are correct. Wait, Drogon, where are your sisters?", She asked as she looked around before following my tail as I used it to the point to the back right.
Looking in that direction, she simply looked amused while I grinned as we watched Rhaenys and Visenya trying their best to fly up while also failing as they fell onto the floor.
"As you can see…I'm the only child that has a brain here", Mother tilted her head with a soft smile as her fingers brushed along my head. She did not understand my words, but from her amused look, she most likely sensed the smugness in my tone.
"I wish I could understand you, but I just know you were being smug there", She said playfully and I let out a haughty growl as Rhaenys gave an annoyed screech from across the courtyard.
She once again flapped her wings in an attempt to take off and this attempt did go better than the others as she hovered the air for a few seconds. Unfortunately, it was only for a few seconds before I winced as she wobbled and landed in a heap.
Visenya was not too far behind as she flopped onto the ground beside our sister and I rolled my eyes as the both of them chirped in distress.
'Pathetic…Fuck, that's the dragon side talking', I thought with a rumble as Mother picked me up and placed me on her chair, her handmaidens following after her as she walked over to appease the two.
I knew that my mind would start to go to the more primitive side as I got older to make sure I didn't start going insane from being a human inside of a dragon's body, but I didn't quite expect the change to happen this soon.
This was not the only time as I had found myself being disgusted for a few hours after I killed the assassin, not because I had killed them but because of how incompetent Mother's guards were at keeping threats at bay.
I don't know whether this was something that would come and go as time went on or something that would stick with me as I got older, but I have to admit when I say that I fear it may be the latter.
'It's okay. You're no longer Eric. You're Drogon. Just Drogon. Do not think of stuff like that, but make sure to be cool, calm and collected at all t-Owch!', A screech escaped my maw as something impacted my snout, knowing me from my thoughts and making me snarl at the target.
Rhaenys, as smug and proud as ever, gave a chirp of triumph as her small bronze toy fell to the ground with a loud smack. It also startled Mother as she turned around only to squeak as I leapt at my youngest sister with a growl.
"Drogon! Rhaenys! Not again! Visenya, come help me get your siblings apart!", Mother gasped as she rushed over, Rhaenys squeaking as I pinned her to the ground while whacking her over and over on the head with my wings.
'You may have started this, sister, but I was an older brother in my past life! You will respect my authority!'

It was later that evening that I found myself perched on the window of Mother's council room, the woman in question pacing slowly in front of the fireplace with her arms crossed while Ser Jorah and her bloodriders Aggo, Rakhar and Jhogo.
My sisters were peacefully asleep inside of the flames and while I wanted to join them, I also didn't want to miss anything that was to be said in this meeting.
Especially if it involved that pale fucker named Pyat Pree.
"Ser Jorah, tell me everything you know of the House of Undying", Mother began as she stopped in front of the fireplace, her voice calm but having a slight edge to it.
"What little we know is…troubling to say the least. The organization is old, Khaleesi. Older than Qarth itself if some of the residents are to be believed. They speak of the warlocks who once held great power over the city before their magic began to fade. With the birth of your children and the return of dragons, however, that power has started to return according to the few residents I've spoken to."
"Then they see me as the source", Mother muttered as she sat down on her chair next to the fireplace, a growl escaping my lips and making her smile.
"It would seem so, Khaleesi. Pyat Pree has already shown an unnatural obsession with your children, especially after the incident with Drogon. With this attempt on your life, I fear it may not be the last."
"Jhogo, Rakharo, Aggo. What say you? What should I do?", Mother asked as she turned to her bloodriders, who lookedat each other before Jhogo spoke first.
"We burn them, Khaleesi. We ride through their tower and tear down every stone. The House of Undying may be a place of tricks, but fire burns through all lies."
"Agreed. They hide in the shadows, but fire will route them out. We must kill them now or they will come again", Aggo spoke in agreement, his bow in hand as Mother hummed before looking to Rakharo.
"A dead warlock cannot curse you", Rakharo was a simple man of few words and I let out a rumble of approval as Mother stood up.
"What if burning their tower draws the ire of the Thirteen? Xaro is already walking a fine line between wanting to support us and needing to protect his own interest."
"Then, we move carefully, Khaleesi. You are not without allies here and most certainly not without power. Dragons are a language everyone understand", Jorah spoke with a faint smile as he looked at me and Mother just sighed as she nodded.
"We will not wait for them to strike again, but we must not be careless. First, I want information. I want to know who among the Thirteen would support an assault on the House of the Undying or at least stay silent if that happens."
"And if none of them support it?", Jhogo asked and I felt the embers of excitement burning in my veins as Mother's voice dropped cold.
"Then we make an example and show them that the Mother of Dragons is not one to be trifled with."
"Yes, Mother~ Come to the Dark Side~", I purred and Mother looked at me before looking back out the window with a determined look.
"Yes, if they try to attack us, we will respond with Fire and Blood."

'Oh, today must be my birthday. The meat just delivered itself', I thought with a menacing growl that echoed across the courtyard when Pyat Pree glided in like a living shadow.
Both Visenya and Rhaenys noticed the man and surrounded Mother's side while Mother sat composed in the centre of us.
"Your Grace, it pains me to hear of the unfortunate incident that happened two nights ago. Qarth is a city of peace, but some do not respect its hospitality", The man spoke in his sickly papery voice while bowing low.
Unfortunately for him, Mother looked nothing but pleased as she rested her hands on the heads of Rhaenys and Visenya to calm them down while narrowing her eyes at him.
"Oh, but you mustn't think the House of the Undying had any part in such barbarism, Your Grace", The monster continued with an eerie smile as he stood up straight.
"We seek enlightenment, not violence. Our only desire is to help you unlock the truth of your destiny."
"By sending assassins to my door?", Mother asked coldly and the monster blinked far too slowly for my liking before shaking his head.
"If we had sent someone, Your Grace, you would not be here to accuse me."
'Keep calm, Drogon. Don't burn him' I tried my best to calm myself as my sisters growled at his response, the bloodriders looking just as pissed as Aggo went to notch an arrow before ceasing his movements as Mother raised a hand.
"You ask to be trusted, but you reek of lies. You call yourself a friend while coveting my dragons like a starving man eyes meat."
"A starving man will always seek nourishment, but the wise queen sees an ally where others see a beggar."
"If I wanted wisdom, I would consult my dragons. They have more honesty in one roar than your entire order has spoken since I arrived." Mother snapped back and I smirked as that shut him up for a brief moment.
Unfortunately, it was only for a brief moment.
"The Undying Ones still offer you sanctuary, Your Grace. A Glimpse into eternity. Come to the House alone without your guards or pets and we shall show you what lies ahead."
"No. You may leave now."
'Did he honestly expect that to work?' I thought while letting out a snort of smoke, my body cooling down as the man bowed one last time before walking through the entrance.
However, it was not seconds later that Jorah walked through the entrance, a grim look on his face as he cleared his throat while moving to the side.
"Presenting the Tourmaline Brotherhood." As he announced their entrance, five men dressed in fine silks walked through the entrance and I frowned as I saw no guards while also catching the sight of blood and not perfume below their clothes.
The one at the front, a dark-skinned man with dark-grey eyes and rings on every finger, wished to get a bit closer, but he ceased his attempt and stepped back as I let out a low growl.
"Drogon." Mother asked and I simply huffed as I laid back down, making sure to keep my eyes on them as they all looked at my sisters and I before turning their gaze back to Mother.
"Daenerys Stormborn, Mother of Dragons. What a marvel you are and how lucky we are to be graced with such…royalty." The one at the front began and I kept my eyes on him as Mother spoke.
"State your business."
"We've heard rumours of an attack on your life and whispers that the House of the Undying have begun to regain their magical power bit by bit. We of the Brotherhood do not wish to see Qarth destabilized. We ask if you would not mind staying in Qarth, under our protection of course, until this matter is settled."
"And what would that cost me?", Mother asked, her voice now having its sharp edge back and I met the man's gaze as he chuckled.
"Just your good favour, Your Grace…and perhaps access to study these marvelous children of yours. A gift of knowledge for a gift of safety."
"No", Mother's response was quick and without delay, the man's smile growing thin as he looked between her and I before responding.
"Then I hope your guards are better today than they were yesterday, Khaleesi. Qart is a dangerous city for a woman travelling without a house", With that said, the five men left without saying another word, Jorah and Jhogo closing the entrance behind them before the older man spoke.
"They will make another offer, Khaleesi, or send another message."
"I know. That is why we will strike first."

'Something's coming', I thought with a low growl as I lounged on the mansion's upper terrace, just a few feet away from the council room where Mother, Jorah and the blood riders were hatching up a plan.
Slowly standing up and drawing the attention of my sisters who gave me bleary looks as they woke up, I stared at the four figures dressed in dark blue and green to blend in better with the greenery and crowd around them.
They had been standing outside near the entrance, but now they were slowly making their way into the alleyway outside the entrance, aiming a glare at them when I saw one of them taking out a flask of some sort.
I dove from the terrace as the man threw it, their eyes widening as flames burned at the back of my throat before I unleashed a burst of flames onto them.
The screams of agony from the one that got hit by the flames woke Rhaenys and Visenya up as the two of them flew from the terrace as well with monstrous roars.
Rhaenys' target didn't get a second to scream before her little teeth sunk through cloth and stabbed into his chest, Visenya barreling into the third and pinning him down before she bit into his neck and tore out a chunk from the side.
The last one looked horrified as the three of us looked at him and I growled as the man turned to ran before letting out a roar.
Surprisingly, it was accompanied by a torrent of flames that washed over him while the alleyway erupted in flames.
Screams echoed everywhere as shouts of 'Fire!' and 'Dragons' echoed in the night air and it did not take long before Mother came running through the entrance with her eyes widen while the others struggled to keep up.
She didn't say a word as she looked at me letting out a victorious roar along with Rhaenys and Visenya matching me, but as our roars/ screeches died down, I grinned as I heard the angered growl coming from her.
"I've had enough. Ser Jorah, ready everything. Tonight, the House burns."
A/N: And we end it off here. A bit of politics thrown in to not make it just a Drogon fantasy as well as a bit of gore at the end.
Next chapter: The House Burns.
Also, just wanted to add that this is not a genius Drogon that most stories are. This is a guy that became a dragon and now wants to live this life to the best that he can. Nothing more.
Another thing I've found is that I'm being very inconsistent with dragon sizes so to make it simple, the dragons are the size of small Huskies with Drogon being a bit bigger than the other two.
Like always, you can go to my Pat-reon-.-com-/-KingCrimsonNova to read ahead on this as well as many other stories & even some that haven't been released out to this site yet. If you want to, you are free to, but if you don't want, all's good as I will still be uploading here. This is just me trying to get some extra cash.
Anyway, as always, read, enjoy, review and until the next one…
Ba-Bye~!!
