Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: Target—Ten Thousand Nations!

When Tsugikuni Yoriichi and Aokiji emerged from the arena in Dressrosa, they were accompanied by a young man.

Cyrus was a man of decisive character. Having agreed to join the Navy, he wasn't going to dither. Furthermore, Cyrus had no family or friends in Dressrosa, no one to say goodbye to.

When the arena manager heard Cyrus was leaving the arena to join the Navy, he was initially displeased. After all, with 441 wins under his belt, Cyrus was the arena's biggest cash cow!

He couldn't bear to let him go.

However, Aokiji, a captain at the Marine Headquarters, held some influence in Dressrosa, a member of the World Government. The

arena manager didn't dare to openly obstruct the Navy's recruitment, merely reminding Cyrus, "You're a murderer," "You'll be in trouble if you leave," "The Navy won't accept a murderer," and "You'll be discriminated against."

But after Aokiji used his power to freeze the arena director's desk, he dared not continue.

Cyrus was also successfully escorted out of the arena.

Cyrus was alone, with no luggage. His only possessions were a few pieces of cloth, some armor, and his double-edged sword.

"Cyrus, you're very capable. You'll definitely make a difference in the Navy."

"Follow me first. Once we get to Vice Admiral Garp's ship, I'll have someone complete your enlistment paperwork."

"Oh, Vice Admiral Garp is a Vice Admiral at Marine Headquarters. He's a very kind person. You won't have any problems enlisting."

"By the way, although you're very capable, in the Navy, you still have to start from the bottom."

"That's how I got there too. When we get back to headquarters, I'll see if I can ask Zephyr-sensei to get you into the Naval Academy."

"Oh, Zephyr-sensei is the Navy's chief instructor and a former admiral. He's also very kind. Zephyr-sensei will definitely like someone like you."

Along the way, Aokiji chatted with Cyrus, praising him for the benefits of the Navy. In Aokiji's eyes, the Navy was the best place to be. Aokiji's enthusiasm also helped Cyrus relax. Although he had agreed to join the Navy, he was still very nervous during the journey.

The words of the arena manager had left a certain impact.

During his conversation with Aokiji, Cyrus gained a glimpse into Tsugikuni Yoriichi.

A genius, a young man being nurtured by the Navy, his guide was a true disciple of Vice Admiral Garp and former Admiral Zephyr.

Yoriichi, a civilian, and his group didn't go directly to the branch to join Vice Admiral Garp.

Aokiji called Garp via Den Den Mushi and briefly explained the situation. Then, he took Yoriichi and Cyrus on a leisurely stroll through Dressrosa, buying clothes for Cyrus and showcasing all the local delicacies.

Although Cyrus was a native, having grown up in poverty, he had never experienced such a journey as he did in the area where he grew up. Cyrus didn't refuse Aokiji's offer and relaxed, knowing that after leaving his hometown, it would be years before he could return.

As dusk fell, the setting sun's rays bathed the sea.

Yunichi and the other two, carrying their bags, arrived at the Dressrosa branch headquarters to reunite with Garp. Aokiji was considerate enough to bring Garp some fruit-flavored donuts and flavored rice crackers, a local Dressrosa specialty.

  "You're really late!"

  "Isn't that young man Cyrus?"

"Welcome to the Navy. I'm Garp, Vice Admiral of the Marine Headquarters."

Garp finally saw Yunichi and the others at the branch headquarters. Garp's gaze fell on Cyrus, and after a brief glance, a smile spread across his face. He said warmly,

  "Hello, Vice Admiral Garp."

Cyrus was a little nervous upon seeing Vice Admiral Garp. A Vice Admiral of the Marine Headquarters! A big shot! But seeing Garp's friendly attitude, Cyrus quickly relaxed. He glanced at Aokiji and Yunichi with a hint of gratitude and greeted Garp.

Vice Admiral Garp was indeed a good man, just as Aokiji had said.

"Let's go! I've been waiting for you for a long time."

  "It's time to set sail."

"I've got news about the Roger Pirates!"

Garp nodded to Cyrus, then his expression became more serious as he spoke to Aokiji. His words made Aokiji's expression harden, and he put away his playful smile.

"Are we going to sail tonight?" Aokiji asked, looking at the sky.

"Well, time is running out. If we lose her this time, we don't know when we'll be able to catch her again."

"Roger, it seems you're planning to look for—Charlotte Linlin!"

  "The target is, Wanguo!"

Garp dropped the bombshell news to Aokiji. Aokiji was slightly stunned when he heard the name Charlotte Linlin, but after a while, he immediately realized who the other person was:

"Charlotte Linlin, a member of the Rocks Pirates back then, Charlotte Linlin?"

Aokiji seemed to know Charlotte Linlin's origins, and his face was filled with astonishment. Then he hurriedly asked, "What are the Roger Pirates planning on doing by going after such a great pirate?!"

"Vice Admiral Garp, this is a big deal!"

Garp nodded, then suddenly his serious expression fell. Picking his nose, he casually said, "Of course I know it's a big deal."

"That's why we have to hurry over. As long as we capture Roger, no matter how big the problem is, it's over, isn't it?!" "

  Hahahaha!"

Garp said, and he took the lead, heading towards the naval port. By afternoon, Garp's ship had docked at the branch headquarters, and Garp's navy seemed to have assembled long ago. Only Garp, Yoriichi, and the others were on board.

Yoriichi had originally thought he would stay in Dressrosa for a few days, but he arrived in the morning and was out to sea that evening.

The navy's work is far more than a 996 schedule, even more like a workaday.

However, Yoriichi didn't feel any resentment. Compared to eating and sightseeing, he was more eager to see the powerful people on the sea.

Charlotte Linlin is the future Four Emperors, Big Mom.

Originally a member of the Rocks Pirates, Charlotte Linlin formed her own pirate group after the Battle of God Valley, roaming the New World.

Today, Charlotte Linlin has amassed a formidable power.

The Wano Country, as Garp calls it, is the region ruled by Charlotte Linlin. It's an archipelago of 34 islands, home to hundreds of thousands of inhabitants.

Here, people of all races live in harmony. By regularly donating their lifespans to Charlotte Linlin, they can receive her protection and live within the Wano Country.

At first glance, sacrificing one's lifespan might seem terrifying, and it certainly is. However, Charlotte Linlin offers the citizens of the Wano Country a choice: if they choose not to sacrifice their lifespans, they can leave.

In some ways, the Wano Country is far superior to Dressrosa under Doflamingo's control or Wano Country under Kaido's.

Charlotte Linlin established the Wano Country through the bonds of family ties and the provision of protection.

  Here, Charlotte Linlin is king.

Even the World Government and the Navy can't intervene.

Now, the Roger Pirates seem to be trying to contact Charlotte Linlin, but this news is not good news for the Navy.

"Move out! Our destination is the Big Mom Pirates' territory, Wanokoku!"
