Chapter 29 - Chapter 29 Who do you think I am? Pull the boat over!

Chapter 29 Who do you think I am? Pull the boat over!

  Zou Island.

It is an island in the New World.

Legend has it that Zou Island is on the back of a giant elephant. The elephant has survived for a thousand years. Its feet can reach the bottom of the sea, its body is towering into the clouds, and its back can carry the entire island to move.

The inhabitants of Zou Island are the Fur Tribe, or to put it more intuitively,

the Orcs. The Fur Tribe hates outsiders and does not allow others to approach their land. Therefore, Zou Island has never been included in the jurisdiction of the World Government.

And because Zou Island is a moving island, the record pointers commonly used to guide routes in the New World cannot guide others to Zou Island.

After Bogart briefly introduced the situation of Zou Island to Garp, Garp fell into silence.

Roger is on an unreachable moving island, how can he chase him? !

"Hey, Bogart, are you here to tease me?!"

"Since the record pointer is useless, how am I supposed to get to Zou Island?!"

"Also, where did you get this information? Did that person see Zou Island with their own eyes?"

Garp demanded, a hint of dissatisfaction in his expression. At this moment, Aokiji and Yoriichi, who had been practicing, also stopped and stood beside Garp curiously, listening attentively to the conversation between Bogart and Garp.

"The source of the information is the G-33 branch. They got it from the captured pirates."

"According to the people in the branch, those pirates encountered the Roger Pirates while they were resting and drinking in the Dressrosa Kingdom, and overheard it."

"They encountered the Roger Pirates just a week ago. At that time, the Roger Pirates should have been storing record pointers and stayed in Dressrosa for a while before setting off."

"Based on this, the G-33 branch deduced that the Roger Pirates would be on Zou Island."

Hearing this, the dissatisfaction on Garp's face dissipated. He lowered his head and thought for a moment, then said with a smile:

"Let's go! Let's go to Dressrosa!"

"It must be very close to Zou Island!"

"Although we can't find Zou Island, Roger and his crew will stop in Dressrosa to record the magnetic field, which means that their route is to go down along Dressrosa."

"Once we reach Dressrosa, we'll know where Roger might be headed next!"

Garp said, turning and heading straight for the naval port, intending to launch an attack immediately. Yoriichi and Aokiji exchanged a glance, then, bamboo swords in hand, followed Garp's steps.

During Garp's stay at the G-10 branch, the marines on his ship continued to reside on board, but for routine training, they would use the G-10 branch's training grounds. This was done so they could sail as soon as they received any news about Roger.

"Vice Admiral Garp, Dressrosa points to three islands. It's not certain where the Roger Pirates will go."

"Besides, maybe there is an eternal record pointer on the Roger Pirates, and it's possible there are other directions."

"If we attack rashly like this, we will most likely fail!"

"It will take nearly a month to get to Dressrosa. Should we ask the headquarters first, and then..."

Before Bogart finished speaking, Garp interrupted directly: "If you have to ask for instructions for everything, then you don't have to do anything!"

"I have decided to set off for Dressrosa!"

"Bogart, I know what you are worried about. It costs a lot to sail. If you don't gain anything, you will probably be scolded by Cyborg Sora! Hahaha!"

"It doesn't matter. There is nothing else in the New World, but there are plenty of pirates. We will always meet some along the way."

"When we arrive in Dressrosa, we will definitely gain something!"

"Kill all the way there, Cyborg Sora won't say much! Hahaha!"

After speaking, Garp quickened his pace and walked quickly towards the dog-head warship. After returning to the ship, Garp ordered his men to broadcast the assembly announcement and begin recalling the crew.

The departure of Garp's warship alarmed the branch's leader, Rear Admiral Roca. The old man ran out of the base and saw that Garp was leaving without even a word. He angrily yelled at Garp standing on the bow, "You're impolite!"

But Major General Roca's voice was easily drowned out by the waves.

Within ten minutes, the soldiers aboard Garp's warship had assembled. Standing at the bow, Garp shouted to Major General Roca at the harbor:

"Uncle Roca, I'm back with some local specialties."

"The compensation for the Neil Palace will be reimbursed by Zhan Guo. I've already told Zhan Guo."

  "I'm leaving first, hahahahaha!"

The ropes on the side of the ship unfurled, and the anchor of the dog-headed warship slowly rose. The sails unfurled, and the ship began to slowly move. The sea surged, and the roar of the warship's engines echoed across the harbor.

Garp waved to Roca and returned to the deck.

Rear Admiral Rocka stood on the dock, watching Garp disappear over the bow. He chuckled and shook his head, muttering, "I wonder if I, old man, will even be able to enjoy the local specialties you brought me." He

hunched over, staring at the departing warship in silence for a long moment. Only after the warship vanished from the horizon did he turn around and slowly walk towards the branch base.

On this perilous sea, many people parted ways and never saw each other again. This was especially common among the navy.

Rocka knew Garp was powerful, but he also knew the Roger Pirates were no pushovers. Even Garp was fraught with danger.

  "Ju~~~~"

  "Boom!!!"

The fierce friction of the shells against the air produced a sharp whistle, and the next second, a resounding explosion shattered the tranquility of the sea.

  "Hurry!!"

"Turn! Turn the ship! Return fire!"

Panic ensued on a pirate ship flying a crossbones flag. Captain Gaspard Lehman drew his sword and shouted, trying to calm his crew.

The Lehman Pirates, with a combined bounty of 210 million, had a personal bounty of 80 million on their head.

Having only recently arrived in the New World, they were a formidable pirate group in the West Sea. Their most notable achievement was escaping a siege by three warships led by three rear admirals, sinking one before escaping.

But then, directly behind the Lehman Pirates, a dog-headed warship flying a naval flag was rapidly approaching.

The crew, seemingly unacquainted with the Lehman Pirates, dared approach them alone.

"Captain! It's a little too late! The enemy is moving very fast. We need to evade!"

The crew of the Lehman Pirates heard their captain's cry and began to panic and run towards the engine room. An experienced crew member, seeing the speed of the dog-headed warship, hurriedly warned them.

  "Too late?!"

  "Evade?!"

"They only have one warship, and we need to evade?!"

"Three navy ships can't take me down, and I'm going to evade?!"

"Who do you think I am?!"

"It doesn't matter if it's damaged a little. No evading! Pull the ship over and engage the navy in a boarding battle!"

"Kill the navy and use their planks to repair ours!"

Casper Lehman roared, grabbing his men by the collar and throwing them violently. He then quickly rushed to the stern, leaped onto the sternpost, and swung his sharp blade, slashing at two incoming cannonballs.

The cannonballs split in two mid-air and exploded, failing to detonate on the pirate ship.

Having blocked two shells, Casper Lehmann saw that no more shells were fired from the distant warships. A smile immediately appeared on his face:

"Hmph, now that you've seen my strength, you've given up the bombardment?!"
