"You must be Professor Kayson, right? My brothers often talk about you at home." A Wizard with red hair, clearly a Weasley, walked over.
"Nice to meet you, Bill, they always talk about you too!" Kayson quickly took two steps and hugged the man.
"Thanks, but my name is Charlie," Charlie said, hugging Kayson.
"Oh… ah… sorry," Kayson said, a bit awkwardly.
"It's alright, and thank you for taking care of my brothers at Hogwarts."
"It's nothing, as a Professor, it's only right."
The three people behind Kayson watched Kayson and Charlie engage in endless commercial pleasantries, exchanging helpless glances and forming a silent team chat.
"Do they know each other? They're chatting so happily?" Sirius asked.
"You don't understand, this is a necessary courtesy for adults," Harry explained.
"Oh… actually, I'm more like an adult than you, Harry," Sirius retorted, somewhat speechless.
"Heh heh, two childish brats," Lupin rolled his eyes quietly.
Meanwhile, Kayson and Charlie finally finished their pleasantries. The former suddenly said, "This job requires at least enough personnel to control three dragons, and that's the minimum, as there might be some unforeseen circumstances."
"Understood, we will at least deploy a team capable of controlling four dragons," Charlie nodded decisively.
"Also, here's a letter from Dumbledore, perhaps you need to show it… to the Director here." Kayson looked at Lupin, signaling him to take out the recommendation letter Dumbledore gave him.
"No problem, let's go find the Director first." The group followed Charlie into the Dragon Reserve's internal park. During this time, Harry couldn't hide his curiosity about everything, as did everyone else except Charlie and Sirius.
The former was because he was an employee here, and the latter… because before the House of Black declined, they invested in several Dragon Reserves… Sirius was a legitimate young master of a Dragon Reserve.
"There are so many dragons here," Harry exclaimed softly.
"Actually, not that many. The warehouse currently conservatively holds no less than seven hundred dragon eggs, but because the territory of dragons is too large, even when they are kept in captivity, if the number of dragons increases, they will still attack each other. So we can only wait until the number of dragons is reduced to a very low level before we take some dragon eggs from the warehouse to hatch," Charlie explained.
"Don't dragon eggs go bad like chicken eggs?" The moment Harry asked this question, he regretted it, because the question was simply too stupid.
"Actually, no. Last year, a five-hundred-year-old dragon egg was taken from the warehouse, and it still hatched successfully," Charlie said, pointing to a young dragon in the distance that was using a large tree to scratch an itch: "That one hatched from a five-hundred-year-old dragon egg."
Harry nodded: "We really should have brought Hagrid, he would love it here."
Charlie nodded: "Indeed. How is Hagrid doing now?"
Harry shrugged: "He's doing great. Last semester, he even became the Professor of Care of Magical Creatures."
"Then I really should congratulate him. Alright, we're here. That two-meter-tall muscular old man over there, who's grabbing dragon scales and beating them, is the Director."
The group looked in the direction Charlie pointed, and saw a burly middle-aged man, built like an Astartes, holding a dragon by the scales near its neck, giving it a stern lecture.
"My goodness… Is that a Wizard?" Lupin swallowed hard. He quietly approached Charlie: "He won't take his anger out on the employees, will he?"
"How could he? There's a dragon, isn't there?" Charlie said, waving his hand: "Nios! They're here!"
Nios, who was fiercely cosplaying as an evil Batman towards the dragon, turned his head and then immediately jumped to the ground: "Hello everyone!"
Kayson looked at the man in front of him, who was not much smaller than Hagrid, and swallowed. The instinct of a carbon-based life form still urged him to slightly flinch, then he quickly pushed Lupin in front of him: "Quick! This is a direct employment opportunity!"
Lupin showed an embarrassed expression, and with a stiff upper lip, he pulled out the letter written by Dumbledore and handed it to Nios: "I was recommended by Dumbledore for work."
Nios took the envelope, looked at it, then looked up at Lupin: "Welcome aboard!"
Kayson and Sirius subtly breathed a sigh of relief. After all, if following the usual routine, this situation generally falls into two categories: one, Nios scares Lupin a bit, and Lupin successfully gets hired due to his courage. Two, Nios is a straightforward type, and perhaps after a small drink, they also successfully get hired. However, the indispensable part of both scenarios is Nios clapping Lupin's shoulder with his fan-like large hand, successfully knocking half his life out of him.
However, the two did not witness this scene, which was a pity. Nios merely nodded calmly, completely lacking the recklessness that his physique should have had, at least towards humans. Towards Wizards, it was still a magical, stern demeanor, possessing a certain park-like beauty.
But Nios quickly left to find another dragon, leaving the group to stare at each other. However, Charlie quickly broke the awkward silence: "Shall we go sign the contract?"
"Let's go, let's go." The group walked towards one of the few buildings in the Dragon Reserve, and soon Charlie picked out over forty strong Wizards and walked over.
Kayson took out a contract from his pocket: "This contains not only a magic contract but also a confidentiality clause that you must abide by."
Charlie looked back at his colleagues, then blinked in surprise, because Lupin, who should have been standing with Kayson, had somehow appeared in their small team… He was even naturally chatting with a Wizard next to him, as if he might pull out a cigarette and start smoking at any moment.
However, poor Lupin completely failed to realize that this magic contract was meant to bind the Wizards of the Dragon Reserve; for him, not having this contract was what was important.
After all, he was also a part of Hogwarts, and he had been a Professor for a year. Teaching Little Wizardss should be twice as effective, so he naturally couldn't be restricted by a magic contract.
And Sirius and Harry, behind Kayson, kept sending team messages to Lupin, finally managing to contact him just as it was almost his turn to sign the magic contract.
