Chapter 202 - Chapter 202 Let’s Chat

"Listen, kid, don't be fooled by this guy! Peter Pettigrew is the real culprit who betrayed James and Lily. I can even go to Kaisen Heath or Dumbledore to prove my innocence; it's just a matter of drinking some Veritaserum."

Sirius tightly gripped Peter Pettigrew's neck with one hand, holding him in front of himself, while with the other hand, he held Neville's wand, which he had automatically picked up, and cast a Shield Charm on himself.

"OK… you put down your wand, and we'll only believe you after you remove the Shield Charm." Harry and his two companions huddled together. They found that their barrage of attacks couldn't break Sirius's Shield Charm, and they were ultimately forced to pathetically and helplessly block the dormitory door.

"Oh, Harry, honestly, you might as well let me cast Killing Curse on myself; then you wouldn't even have to do it yourselves," Sirius instinctively grumbled.

"Besides, honestly, haven't you seen me in my dog form? If I really wanted to hurt you, I'd have had plenty of opportunities. In fact, I wouldn't even need opportunities, since you're still Little Wizardss, aren't you?"

"OK, we believe you." Harry suddenly put away his wand. Neville and Ron were momentarily confused, but they quickly put away their wands when they saw the window behind Sirius.

They were now just waiting for Professor Kayson outside the window to quickly break in and kick Sirius's butt with his pointed leather shoe.

"Oh, I'm so glad you trust me so much, children." Sirius breathed a sigh of relief: "So, shall we go find Dumbledore or Kayson now? You choose."

Kayson, who had carefully climbed in through the window, also sighed helplessly: "No need. If you don't come to me, I'll come to you. I knew you wouldn't be able to resolve the situation smoothly."

Sirius's old face flushed upon hearing what Kayson said, and he looked awkwardly at the three still-confused Little Wizardss.

At this moment, Harry and the others were surprised to find that this Sirius… didn't seem to be… at least, he was trusted by Professor Kayson.

Otherwise, given his zero-frame casting habit, normally, Wither Skeleton Head would have flown in through the window before they even saw Kayson behind it.

"Professor, what's going on?" Harry asked.

"Didn't he tell you?"

Harry nodded: "He just farted a lot."

"Those farts were all true," Kayson said, nodding.

"???" Harry was a bit confused.

"Huh?"

"What I mean is, Sirius really is your godfather, and the person who truly betrayed your parents back then was Peter Pettigrew." Kayson looked at Peter Pettigrew, who was being choked by Sirius and couldn't speak.

"Cast Stupefy on him."

Thud.

The fat body fell to the ground.

"If you want to know the whole story, come with us," Kayson said to the Little Wizardss.

Harry and the others looked at each other, then all nodded in unison.

"Shall we follow?" The group made their way to Dumbledore's office. Snape, who should have been resting at home, had also been summoned back by Dumbledore and was now sitting on the sofa, staring at the unconscious Peter Pettigrew with a look of disgust.

The three Little Wizardss hesitated, but eventually, Harry bit the bullet and waved: "Good evening, Professor Snape."

Snape glanced at the other two Little Wizardss and snorted: "Weasley and Longbottom are impolite, five points each deducted. Potter is buttering up the Professor, ten points deducted."

Kayson awkwardly touched his lips. He hadn't understood before why Snape had such a big prejudice against Gryffindor and Harry, but now…

He understood, perfectly understood.

"Let's get down to business, Severus," Dumbledore said.

"Before that, where is Karkaroff?" Kayson asked, raising his hand.

"Do you really need to discuss this in front of the children?"

"Alright, later then."

Dumbledore nodded: "And Harry, you clearly need to clear up the misunderstanding with Sirius." He waved his wand, extracting a bit of memory from Sirius's mind and a bit from Peter Pettigrew's mind.

After merging these two memories, he opened a cabinet.

Inside the cabinet was an object like a washbasin, covered with various strange inscriptions, with silvery-gray liquid flowing within it.

Dumbledore threw the memories in his hand into it, then waved at Harry: "Put your head in. All three of you can. It's just a shame Miss Granger went home for Christmas; she missed an adventure through time."

As the three Little Wizardss plunged their heads into the basin, Kayson also motioned for Sirius to lift Peter Pettigrew's Stupefy. Soon, Peter Pettigrew's eyelids fluttered, but there was still no sign of him waking up.

"Oh… how about we don't even ask, and just chop him into fine mincemeat? Wouldn't that be better?" Kayson said, trying to scare him.

"That… wouldn't be good, would it?" Dumbledore said with a grim face.

"No one will know about it," Snape also stood up.

And Peter Pettigrew, lying on the ground, finally couldn't lie there any longer. He jolted awake, opening his eyes and sitting up.

Although he wasn't particularly smart, he had a general understanding of these people: Sirius Black, it was fine to be friends with him, but if he was your enemy, you'd have to sleep with one eye open. Begging him was useless.

Severus Snape, he probably wanted to skin him alive now, also useless.

Dumbledore, although he looked like a good person, he was the most hard-hearted; after all, the title of White Demon King was truly widespread in the magic world.

And the last one, Kaisen Heath… well, unfortunately, he didn't know what 'mincemeat' meant, so he had no choice but to try a desperate measure.

Just as Peter Pettigrew opened his mouth towards Kayson, Snape instantly appeared in front of Kayson and kicked him in the face.

"Tsk… thanks, he really does have bad breath," Kayson said gratefully.

"You're welcome."

Snape said, pulling a small bottle from his robes and tossing it to Sirius.

Giving Potion to a stinky rat who hadn't brushed his teeth in over ten years was best left to him.

And Sirius didn't disappoint. He first pulled out the stopper and sniffed it, after all, he'd gone to great lengths, so he didn't want Snape to just send him off directly.

After confirming that the Potion bottle contained Veritaserum, he fiercely pried open Peter Pettigrew's mouth with his hand and poured the Veritaserum in.

"I think, Peter Pettigrew, we need to have a frank conversation now," Dumbledore walked over and said calmly.
