Luna's POV
I raised my hands toward the silver cloud, feeling the power rush through my small body. The voice inside me. The First Wolf guided my moves.
"Luna, stop!" Mom screamed, trying to reach me.
Dad held her back. "Wait," he said. "Look."
The dangerous silver particles hung frozen in the air around me, like tiny stars. Taking a deep breath, I extended my thoughts, propelling the cloud upwards into the sky where it posed no threat to anyone.
The residents of Shadow Creek looked at me with big eyes — some frightened, others astonished.
"She controlled it," someone whispered.
"The prophecy," another voice muttered.
My legs suddenly felt wobbly. Using so much power made me tired. Dad rushed forward, catching me before I fell.
"I did it," I said softly.
Dad hugged me tight. "You saved everyone."
