At a very young age, she had learned a great deal. Her prime minister was also a wise, intelligent, and sincere man. He had held this position since the reign of Zeeniya's father. Whenever Zeeniya faced any difficulty in solving governmental matters, she would seek advice from her prime minister.
In this way, the days and nights passed joyfully, and Zeeniya's 12th birthday drew near. The entire tribe began preparing for a grand celebration. Everyone was eagerly taking part in the arrangements to express their love for their princess and was waiting impatiently for the day of her birthday.
In Zeeniya's life, she had no blood relatives left, and thinking of this sometimes made her sad. But receiving the love and sincerity of her tribesmen filled her heart with happiness, and she understood that nature had entrusted her with the responsibility of protecting her tribe and helping everyone. This power was known as "The King of Sandail."
One day, while Zeeniya was attending to governmental affairs, a soldier came and informed her that two foreign men wished to meet the princess. The princess ordered them to be brought in. After a short while the two men entered her chamber and greeted her with respect. Zeeniya motioned for them to sit and asked who they were, where they had come from, and what their purpose was. One of the men said, "O princess, we have come from a foreign land bearing a message from our king." As he spoke, the man placed a letter before Zeeniya.
Zeeniya opened the letter. Since the letter mentioned The King of Sandail in advance, Zeeniya could understand and speak every language of the world. The letter was addressed to the princess of the Zargoon tribe and read:
"Respectful greetings from Akhnatoon, the king of Egypt.
I, Akhnatoon, the king of Egypt, am caught in great trouble and distress, and this matter is now beyond our ability to resolve. After consulting the royal astrologers, we have learned that the princess of the Zargoon tribe is the possessor of a powerful, wondrous talisman called The King of Sandail, and she alone can help us. To free us from this calamity, I request that you, O princess, come to our land of Egypt, travel freely here and see for yourself, and grant us the honor of your hospitality. Only when you arrive will we explain our troubles fully. We hope you will accept our invitation."
The letter ended with the king's signature and the royal seal. After reading the letter, Zeeniya remained lost in thought for a while. After some moments of reflection, she finally said, "Alright, I am ready to go with you, but you will have to stay in our guest house for a few days, because in two days there will be a grand ceremony in our tribe to celebrate my birthday. I also invite both of you to take part in the celebration."
Two days later, Zeeniya's birthday was celebrated with great pomp and festivity. After the celebration, Zeeniya called her Prime Minister and discussed the entire matter with him. The Prime Minister said, "Yes, I know about Egypt. It is a very large and advanced country. If the king there has invited you, then you must go. Egypt is famous for its pyramids and the Nile River. Surely, when you visit, you will feel great joy, and our diplomatic relations with Egypt will also become stronger."
Zeeniya then placed a protective shield over her tribe and began preparations for the journey. She ordered some of her ministers to accompany her on the expedition. She also summoned her Egyptian guests, and soon their journey began.
The Egyptian guests told her that a few kos away (a traditional measure of distance) lay the Caspian Sea. They would first travel there by land, and then their sea voyage would begin.
