Zeeniya was returning from Egypt to her tribe. With her were the ministers who had accompanied her on the journey to Egypt. They were traveling by sea on the ship that Pharaoh Akhnaton of Egypt had sent with her. After many days of travel, they were now close to their destination.
The closer they came, the more Zeeniya felt fear and uneasiness rising in her heart — and her ministers felt the same. Zeeniya noticed that the King of Sandail too seemed to be dimming. Its glow appeared weaker, but she could not understand why.
At last, the ship stopped at the shore. Zeeniya ordered one of her ministers to go and inform the tribespeople of their arrival so that the goods could be carried back to the tribe. But even after a long time, that man did not return. Zeeniya's anxiety kept growing.
She decided to ask the King of Sandail what was happening. Looking at it, she saw that it had grown even dimmer. This worried Zeeniya even more. She closed her eyes and asked the King of Sandail to tell her what was going on.
In her ears, a whisper came:
"Zeeniya, go invisible and see the state of your tribe. Something has gone wrong there, and the way to fix it will be found in the book Cosmic Codex."
After that, the voice went silent.
Zeeniya ordered the rest of the group to stay on the ship and guard the goods until she returned. Then, mounting her horse, she rode towards her tribe.
When she reached near the tribe, she tied her horse to a tree. She asked the King of Sandail to make her invisible. Again, a whisper came:
"My power is fading quickly. You won't be able to remain invisible for long. Hurry and see what has happened in the tribe."And then, returning quickly, she reached the Cosmic Codex. After this, Zeeniya began to feel very light, which meant she had entered the invisible state. Swiftly, she advanced toward her tribe.
When she arrived, she was shocked to see that the safety shield she had placed around the tribe had disappeared. That shield could only be seen by Zeeniya herself. As she moved forward, she noticed a strange sadness spread across the whole tribe. On everyone's faces there was gloom. Royal soldiers were patrolling the markets, collecting large sums of money from shopkeepers in the name of taxes. If a shopkeeper could not pay the demanded amount, he was dragged publicly to the main square.
Seeing this, Zeeniya was filled with rage. She started to shout in anger, but then remembered that she was still in an invisible state. Controlling herself, she moved on.
Zeeniya observed that the buildings and houses of her tribe, once newly built and clean, had now fallen into ruin. Everywhere, royal soldiers patrolled, and because of their terror, people could not even speak openly with one another.
Taking this all in, Zeeniya walked toward the palace. When she entered, she was stunned to see Zabura's brothers, dressed in royal garments, roaming about freely. And in Zeeniya's place, on the throne, sat Zabura himself, dressed as a king.
Zeeniya was utterly shocked: Zabura was supposed to be dead — how could he be here? And what shocked her even more was that around Zabura's neck hung the King of Sandail, even though she herself was already wearing it.
Confusion filled her heart. Zabura's brothers had been imprisoned in the royal dungeons, and Zeeniya herself had sealed their prison with magical barriers. How had they escaped and seized power?
To find out the truth, Zeeniya headed toward the dungeons.She saw that in the very prison where Zabura's brothers had once been held, now her own minister Mall and the other loyal ministers were imprisoned. The chief minister looked especially old and frail. Seeing all this, Zeeniya grew deeply troubled — she could not understand what was happening.
She decided she must reach the Cosmic Codex as soon as possible to uncover the truth of the situation. With this thought, she quickly left the tribe and reached her horse. Zeeniya had now returned to a visible state. She mounted her horse and rode swiftly toward the Joshi tribe.
When she reached the entrance gate of the Joshi tribe, the guards stopped her. Zeeniya was surprised. She had believed that the Joshi guards would recognize her, since friendly ties had already been established between their tribe and hers. Confused, she tried to move forward, but the guards demanded,
"Hey girl, who are you? Why are you trying to enter our tribe?"
Zeeniya replied, "I am the princess of the Zargoon tribe. I have been to the Joshi tribe before, and now I have come to meet your chief."
At this, one of the soldiers shouted angrily,
"Why are you lying, girl? The Zargoon tribe is our greatest enemy, ruled by the tyrant king Zabura! How dare you claim to be a princess of that tribe? If you weren't just a little child, we would have thrown you into prison already. Go back from where you came!"
Hearing this, Zeeniya turned her horse around. She rode away some distance, and when she was out of sight of the soldiers, she made a decision: she would use the King of Sandail to become invisible again and enter the Joshi tribe secretly.
She commanded the King of Sandail to make her invisible. From within it came a whisper:
"Zeeniya, you will become invisible — but not for long, for my power has grown very weak. You were only spared until now because you had advanced me earlier."
After this, Zeeniya felt herself become light once again — the sign that she had entered the invisible state. She quickly urged her horse forward, tied it carefully near some grass so it could eat in case she was delayed, and hurried on foot into the Joshi tribe.
She advanced toward the mountain range where, in one of the caves, the great library was hidden — the place that held the Cosmic Codex.
Soon, Zeeniya reached her destination. By then, her invisibility had ended, but fortunately, no one had seen her. With the help of the King of Sandail, she lit her way down into the underground library. There, she found the Cosmic Codex, opened it, and asked:
"Tell me, what is happening with my tribe?"
The answer that came from the Cosmic Codex left Zeeniya utterly astonished.
What could it be that shocked her so greatly? How was it possible that Zabura was still alive?
