Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: The Coming of the Dragon King

Scene One: The Strongest Warrior

The battlefield had become ruins. The dust was fading, and all eyes turned toward the vast chasm left by Oungan before he fell.

His body lay sprawled, his features frozen between pain and pride.

At the end of the rift, the Mysterious Demon stood silent, his chest soaked in blood, his eyes betraying no emotions. Beside him, Morlock swayed half-dead, but still standing.

The sound of the wind alone filled the void.

Poseidon bit his lips, rage and grief tearing through his chest. He recalled Oungan's last words:

"If we had rebelled against those old geezers… we would have suffered fewer losses."

He thought himself a loyal knight, but now he wondered if he had only been a blind tool.

Athena clenched the handle of her hammer, her eyes shimmering with sorrow:

"He fought till the end… with a courage I have never seen before."

Semifel lowered his head in respect, whispering:

"Another comrade has fallen…"

Hades, who had been Oungan's friend, gazed at his body with a cold look of respect, murmuring:

"He was a great man."

Odin struck his twin blades into the ground violently, his voice filled with anger:

"He brought down two demonic generals… he turned the entire tide."

Asmodeus laughed slowly, a short broken laugh before declaring, his eyes gleaming:

"I'll admit this, at least—among all beings I've seen so far, this man is the strongest."

Phinikeiros smiled a sorrowful smile:

"Perhaps his body has fallen… but his mark will remain carved into history."

Falkoris (sharply):

"He left a mark that will remain… but his end means the beginning of new chaos."

Aletheia (with grief mixed with anger):

"How can one man drag everyone behind him, even in death?!"

Dragmor bit his lip, his gaze tense:

"What he did… was not mere fighting. He cast a shadow over the future of this war."

Ganesha shook his head:

"That man… deserves the title of the strongest in this war."

Lilith smiled a dark smile, wiping blood from her lips:

"What a beautiful death… I never thought a human could do this."

Ashura laughed madly:

"Hahahahaha!!! Show me a demon who can do better than him!!!"

Varuna spoke in a calm, steady voice:

"His death opens the door… to chaos that will swallow all."

Vercoullac, Lord of Blood, smiled baring his fangs:

"He watered the earth with his blood… and that blood will remain in memory."

Volker, leader of the werewolves, howled to the sky:

"This man… deserves to be remembered among our legends."

Son of Tarok, leader of the orcs, shouted:

"I swear by my father's soul… we shall follow his path! He proved that humans are not weak!"

Marlin, a young elven commander, closed his eyes:

"He was a great man… who gave his life for all."

Liaria, commander of the elven warriors, whispered:

"He fought with honor… that is enough."

Elan, one of the young elven commanders, warned in a low voice:

"But the echo of what he did… will ignite fires that cannot be extinguished."

Kardan, a dwarven commander, laughed bitterly:

"Oungan… even in death, you annoyed everyone."

Kolmar, another dwarven commander, gripped his axe:

"If he were a dwarf… we would have counted him among our greatest."

Morlock, barely able to stand, raised his head, his voice dry as ashes:

"Even as he lay dying… he almost dragged us all into the grave. A man like him… has no place in the world of the living."

Suddenly… the voices of soldiers rose. Humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, werewolves, avians, vampires… all shouting a single name:

"Oouungan!!!"

"Oouungan!!!"

The chant shook the earth. Swords rose, tears mixed with rage.

Even the demons, despite their hatred, felt a strange shiver at this name.

Narrator:

"Oungan has died, but the echo of his name has not. He united all… left a scar in the heart of the world, a scar that will not heal. And this… was only the beginning of a new round of war."

Scene Two: "The Epic Hidden From the Eyes of War."

While the earth trembled from the cry of the soldiers chanting Oungan's name,

another sky erupted with lightning and darkness, where a separate clash unfolded…

Asmodeus, a hellish flame devouring the sky, faced Hades with his twin black daggers.

The clash of their weapons sounded like a new chapter of thunder.

Asmodeus (with a devilish smile):

"No one will remember Oungan once the world falls under my hellfire."

Hades (with a cold voice, his eyes blazing):

"No… he will be remembered—as the man who broke your will even in death."

And between them, Phinikeiros dove in, his wings scattering flames through the night:

"Enough screaming! The war isn't over yet, and I won't let anyone steal the glory of this moment."

A battle erupted that melted mountains like wax and boiled the seas with its fury.

It was a clash unheard by ordinary soldiers, but powerful enough on its own to destroy nations.

Scene three: The Dragon's Roar

At the same time, far from that hidden epic…

on the battlefield of corpses—where the blood of humans, demons, avians, elves, and werewolves mingled in the mud…

the sky split open. Then… a roar shook the earth and sky together, bringing even commanders to their knees.

The clouds parted to reveal wings stretching like storm clouds, the air igniting with unbearable heat.

A colossal being descended between the armies… Thalgron, King of Dragons, his eyes glowing like merciless embers.

The moment his claws touched the ground, everything froze.

Swords halted mid-swing, arrows did not fly, spells dissolved as if devoured by his presence.

Narrator:

"It was not a choice… but instinct. No being on the battlefield could think of fighting before the King of Dragons."

He raised his head, his voice thundering like lightning:

Thalgron:

"Enough!!!"

The soldiers trembled, even the demonic generals stepped back a pace.

Morlock clutched his torn chest, whispering with spite:

"Even death is easier than standing before him…"

Poseidon smiled sadly:

"Oungan… if you saw this, what would you say?"

Lilith, demonic general, bit her lip:

"Impossible… the Dragon King himself? Has the table turned this much?"

Thalgron spread his wings, the gales ripping banners from the earth, his voice piercing all hearts:

Thalgron:

"If anyone wishes to continue this war… let them know they will face me first."

Silence fell…

No one moved.

No one even dared to breathe loudly.
